The relationship between innovation performance and innovation competency among tourism small and medium enterprise in Terengganu

innovation performance among TSME in Terengganu. In order to improve
innovation performance, there is an emphasis on leadership competency, owner attributes competency, and networking competency. A quantitative study is used to accomplish this research. Simple random sampling is used and responses from 379 respondents are collected. To analyze all the data, descriptive analysis, reliability testing, and Pearson correlation are used. The results support all the variables. This research contributes to determinants of the relationship between innovation competency and innovation performance among TSME in Terengganu. This research and data can be used by industry stakeholders to provide a better experience by determining the association between innovation competency and innovation performance among TSME in Terengganu

Malaysia. In this case, the dark tourism engagement is the main attraction to ensure the consciousness and emotion of tourists after visiting the dark tourism places. In order to perform this analysis, a quantitative study was conducted. The sample size of this study was conducted on 220 respondents who have visited dark tourist resorts through online surveys. For data analysis, reliability testing and Pearson correlation had been used. As a result, the analysis showed a low positive correlation between motivation, death obsession with dark tourism engagement. This study provides knowledge that may be useful for the tourism industry to improve the quality of dark tourism places in Penang

Understanding the influences of room design dimensions of three-star hotel in making reservation
Get PDFThis paper is to study the factors of hotel room design elements that influence the customer's booking intention. This paper aims to investigate the relationship between the functionality of room design elements, the quality expectation of room design elements, emotional encouragement of room design elements with customer's booking intention, and to study the most significant factors that influence customer's booking intention. Online questionnaire research in quantitative methods was carried out to achieve this research. The convenience sampling was carried out to receive responses from 384 respondents and the data was analyzed using Descriptive Analysis, Reliability test, and Pearson Correlation Analysis. The results support all the variables. All the independent variables showed a relationship with the customer's booking intention. The most influential factors are the quality expectation of design elements and emotional encouragement of design elements. These findings indicate that three-star hotels should improve their presentation of room design to the customers, enhance the presentation on their booking platform to attract more customers, and encourage the customers in selecting the hotel. Future studies should investigate multiple independent variables from hotel star ratings of 4 and above

Get PDFThis study was conducted to examine the determinants influencing consumers’ behavioral intention to use mobile wallet in restaurant. The independent variables of this study comprised mobile usefulness, mobile ease of use and mobile self-efficacy; whereas the dependent variables in this study was behavioral intention. This study had three objectives which was to examine the relationship between mobile usefulness and behavioral intention, to evaluate the relationship between mobile ease of use and behavioral intention and to investigate the relationship between mobile self-efficacy and behavioral intention. The quantitative research method was selected and questionnaire was used as the research instrument to collect the data. Convenience sampling method was used and 316 respondents were evaluated in this study. Structured questionnaire was used in this study. The data was collected using Google Form. The data collected was analyzed by using Statistical Packages for Social Science Version 26 (SPSS Version 26) software based on descriptive statistic, reliability analysis, and correlation analysis. As for the result, all the independent variables (mobile usefulness, mobile ease of use and mobile self-efficacy) that had been studied in this research had significant relationships towards dependent variable (behavioral intention) that used in restaurant. Through this study it would understand the determinants of influencing consumers’ behavioral intention and a better understanding and knowledge that affect mobile wallet users
