    Ann Marie Warnovix (left) and Kristin Pruitt McColgan (right) pose for a photo, which may have been taken at the 2001 Distinguished Educator Ceremony. Ann Marie Warnovix started off as a part-time adjunct teacher at CBU until she got a full-time position as an English teacher. As a new faculty member, she was a secretary of the faculty assembly. About 26 years later in 2001, she was honored with the Distinguished Educator Award. Next to her is Kristin Pruitt McColgan, who was an English teacher at Christian Brothers College. By 2000, she became Christian Brothers University’s Dean of the School of Liberal Arts, and later, she became a professor emerita of CBU

    Bonita Sammarco is smiling for a headshot in front of a blue background. She is wearing an off-white shirt, gold earrings, and a gold necklace. Bonita Sammarco earned her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Christian Brothers College. She was elected Miss Engineering in 1981 and was an officer of the CBC Section of the Society of Women Engineers. After graduation, she became Senior Structural Engineer with PSI Process Systems Inc. in Memphis and encouraged young women to explore engineering during National Engineers Week. In 1996, she was names Bishop Byrne High School’s Distinguished Graduate. In 2001, Christian Brothers University honored her with the Brother Lawrence Service Award during alumni weekend

    Dr. Siripong Malasri (left) and Richard Thais (right) seen smiling for the camera at the Service Awards. Dr. Siripong Malasri has been a professor and Chairman of the Civil Engineering Department, Chairman of the Environmental Engineering Department, Chair of the Packaging Program, and the Dean of the School of Engineering at Christian Brothers University. He worked to introduce more minorities and women to engineering by leading a team to create an online civil engineering computer guide to be distributed at high schools in 1995. He also created Pen Pals Online for Memphis in May to bridge the Memphis community with the Memphis in May honored countries, and he joined the Tennessee Society of Professional Engineers Memphis Chapter where he later served as president. In 1997, Dr. Malasri won the Distinguished Lasallian Educator Award. He continued to serve CBU and the Memphis community be starting the Memphis Area Engineering Societies Conference at CBU to host presentations by local engineers. He also worked to update the engineering school’s equipment, labs, and programming. In 2005, Dr. Malasri decided to return to faculty after serving as dean since 1999. He then focused on packaging engineering and lead the creation of the Healthcare Packaging Consortium for students and industry professionals. Richard Thais was graduate of Christian Brothers college in 1961 and joined CBC faculty in 1966. He taught chemical engineering until the mid-1990s and was even head of the department during his tenure
