No full textWhen UDC was created, the Van Ness campus was to house the Colleges of Physical Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Life Sciences, and Educations and Human Ecology. The College of Liberal and Fine Arts and the College of Business and Public management were to be located at the Mount Vernon Square Campus (the site of the former Federal City College) UDC had developed plans for a Mount Vernon Square campus building project, which would include restoration of the old Central DC Library (8th and K Streets, NW), along with construction of facilities several UDC colleges. In the early part of UDC's history, the College of Education and Human Ecology were housed for the most part at the Georgia Avenue (former MTC site) or Harvard Street (former WTC site)
