This is not a history of choreographic works, though these do, of course, have their place. Nor is it a history of techniques and styles, though these too are given due attention. The main aim is to analyze the powers that summon dance to life and to respond in part to the question of why people danced the way they did at various stages of modernity’s development. What values were expressed through dance, what models of humanity and society were enacted by its means? In search of a reply, the author analyzes texts from the Renaissance, Baroque, Classicism, and the Enlightenment: most of all these are dance treatises, but also philosophical, political, and scientific papers, and works of art. The book has been furnished with numerous illustrations, following the author’s intent to reveal the kinetic imagination at various stages in the shaping of modern culture.

Get PDF6 tr.Bài báo tiến hành nghiên cứu khảo sát tác động giảm đau, an thần của cao chiết cây Nở ngày đất nhằm góp phần làm đầy đủ hơn tác động dược lí của cây thuốc này. Cây Nở ngày đất được thu hái tại Tp. Hồ Chí Minh, chiết xuất bằng nước cất và cồn 50%, cô thành cao đặc ở nhiệt độ 700C. Tác động giảm đau trung ương được khảo sát theo mô hình nhúng đuôi chuột, tác động giảm đau ngoại biên theo mô hình gây đau quặn bằng acid acetic 1% và tác động an thần được khảo sát theo thí nghiệm Rota-rod. Kết quả cho thấy: với liều 300 mg/kg và 600 mg/kg, cao nước và cao cồn Nở ngày đất làm giảm đáng kể số lần đau quặn trong mô hình gây đau bằng acid acetic (p 0,05); với liều 600 mg/kg, cao cồn Nở ngày đất làm giảm đáng kể thời gian bám trên máy Rota-rod so với lô chứng (p < 0,01). Như vậy, với liều 300 và 600 mg/kg, cao cồn và cao nước cây Nở ngày đất có tác dụng giảm đau ngoại biên nhưng không có tác dụng giảm đau trung ương và có tác dụng an thần với liều 600 mg/kg

Đánh giá đa dạng di truyền của một số loài Lan Dendrobium ở khu vực phía Nam Việt Nam
Get PDF9 tr.Chi Dendrobium có số lượng loài lớn, hình thái và màu sắc rất đa dạng. Đặc biệt, ở Việt Nam độ đa dạng các loài Dendrobium cao, với 107 loài phân bố ở các vùng núi từ Bắc vào Nam và trên một số đảo ven biển. Việc nhận dạng bằng hình thái dễ bị nhầm lẫn giữa các loài khi cây không có hoa. Từ đó đánh giá đa dạng di truyền giúp quản lí được nguồn gen đa dạng của loài Dendrobium, phục vụ công tác quản lí giống và lai tạo. Nghiên cứu này, thực hiện khảo sát đa dạng di truyền mẫu thuộc chi Dendrobium ở khu vực phía Nam Việt Nam. Kết quả nhận diện loài bằng vùng ITS và matK lần lượt: 16/16 loài và 10/16 loài. Vùng ITS cho tiềm năng cao hơn so với matK trong việc nhận diện lan Dendrobium với tỉ lệ nhận diện 100% tổng số loài được khảo sát. Từ đó, vùng ITS được xem là tiềm năng trong việc nhận diện nhóm Lan Dendrobium. Nghiên cứu này còn góp phần phục vụ cho việc phân định, chọn và lai tạo các giống mới của các loài Dendrobium ở Việt Nam
