Health Literacy &Nutrition in acne adolescents

Objective: To investigate the relationship between health literacy and nutritional cognition and behavior in adolescents with acne. Methods: A convenience sampling method was used to select 362 adolescents with acne as the research subjects. Health literacy and nutritional cognition and behavior were evaluated using a health literacy scale and a nutritional cognition and behavior questionnaire, and the results were analyzed. Results: The health literacy score of adolescents with acne was (72.8±9.6) points, and the total score of nutritional cognition and behavior was (38.6±7.2) points. There was a significant positive correlation overall(P<0.01). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the three dimensions of health literacy (health literacy knowledge and concepts, healthy lifestyle and behaviors, and health skills) could jointly predict 55.6%of the variance in nutritional cognition and behavior. Conclusion: The level of health literacy in adolescents with acne is related to nutritional cognition and behavior and can effectively predict their nutritional cognition and behavior

Zeolite powder in Epdm rubber: Sound absorption effects

In order to enhance the sound absorption performance of ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EPDM) rubber and develop a lightweight, cost-effective composite material with good sound absorption properties, especially in the low-frequency range, EPDM rubber was used as the matrix and zeolite powder (MS)as the filler. Porous sound-absorbing composite materials were prepared through mixing in a mixer and hot pressing in a vulcanizing machine, and their sound absorption properties were tested. By varying the content of MS, the thickness of the composite material, and the distance of the rear cavity, the sound absorption performance of the EPDM/MS porous sound-absorbing material was tested using an SW230 impedance tube. The experimental results showed that the sound absorption performance of the composite material improved with the increase of MS content. When the MS content was 20%and the sample thickness was 4 mm, the sound absorption coefficient of the composite material at 2500 Hz reached 0.65. When a certain thickness of cavity was placed behind the composite material, the sound absorption peak occurred only within specific frequency ranges. The experimental results indicate that the EPDM/MS porous sound-absorbing material has good sound absorption properties

The article begins with an overview of Giotto\u27s life and artistic background, then proceeds to a detailed analysis of his breakthroughs in painting conventions, how he emerged from the influence of Byzantine art, and introduced humanistic spirit. It continues by exploring how Giotto\u27s works extracted figures and objects from life, and his attention to and practice of space and perspective, reflecting his focus on real life and the pursuit of painting realism. Finally, the article deciphers the materials and painting methods of Giotto\u27s tempera works, including the selection and use of supports, grounds, pigments, and medium agents, as well as specific painting steps and techniques. Through these analyses, the article demonstrates how Giotto, with his unique artistic techniques and spirit of innovation, paved the way for the development of art during the Renaissance period

Analysis and thoughts on China\u27s 2010 tourism statistics

    No full text
In China, tourism data is affected by factors such as the accountability and attitude of statisticians, government intervention and falsification, and statistical methods, leading to inconsistencies, inaccuracies, and contradictions in the data. Taking the tourism data published on official websites in 2010 as an example, the total data from local areas is much greater than the data released by the National Tourism Administration, indicating a serious issue of "watering down" in local tourism statistics. Therefore, the use of China\u27s tourism data should be approached with greater prudence and scientific rigor

A brief discussion on Zhou Zuo ren\u27s literary criticism

    No full text
Zhou Zuo ren is best known to the public as an essayist. However, as a literary critic, his achievements are equally remarkable. Especially during the May Fourth Literary Revolution, Zhou Zuo ren, while grounded in Chinese tradition, absorbed Western modern literature and new ideas of the time. He gradually developed his unique impressionistic critical approach from his initial vague critical views of “literature of humanity” and “literature of the common people.” This approach holds significant research value

Analysis of the self-presentation of marathon \u27show-offs\u27

    No full text
In recent years, marathon events in China have experienced explosive growth, but numerous issues have also arisen during the organization of these events. The term "marathon show-offs," borrowed from internet slang, is used by the author to describe participants who, driven by a mentality of blind conformity and self-aggrandizement, engage in marathon races to showcase themselves in a "unique" manner ("appearance" and "behavior") on the marathon course. Employing documentary research and logical analysis methods from the perspective of Goffman\u27s "Dramaturgy Theory," the author attempts to interpret the problems emerging in the nationwide "marathon craze" from the viewpoint of participants who are "showing off" their marathon participation. The conclusion reached is that many characteristics of the marathon course align with the display platform of "show-offs"; during the competition, the excessive flaunting and self-presentation by "show-offs" neglect the essence of marathon racing. It is worth reflecting that a significant number of marathon participants with a "show-off" mentality have, to a certain extent, contributed to many of the problems encountered in the process of marathon competitions

Objective: To observe the pattern of acupuncture point selection in the treatment of juvenile myopia and provide a reference for acupuncture treatment of juvenile myopia. Methods: An Excel database was established to search all journals included in the Wan fang database from January 1991 to December 2012. Literature on acupuncture treatment for juvenile myopia was selected and analyzed, and 49 articles that met the inclusion criteria were screened. The study summarized and analyzed aspects such as the meridians and specific point properties of the acupoints involved, their distribution, and specific point characteristics. Results: The most frequently used acupoints in the treatment of juvenile myopia were Jingming (BL1), Cuanzhu (BL2), Feng chi (GB20), Tai yang (EX-HN5), Si bai (ST2), Hegu (LI4), and Cheng qi (ST1). The selected meridians were primarily extra meridians and the Bladder meridian of the foot-tai yang. The acupoints were mostly concentrated in the head and face, especially around the eyes. Back-shu points, yuan points, and shu points were the most frequently used specific points. Conclusion: Acupuncture treatment for juvenile myopia is safe and effective, with practitioners often selecting extra meridians and the Bladder meridian of the foot-tai yang, focusing mainly on acupoints around the eyes in the head and face region

In order to enhance the traffic safety level of adolescents in Guangzhou and ensure their safety, this study investigates the factors influencing adolescent traffic safety behavior based on the safety survey data of adolescents in Guangzhou. Through quantitative analysis, four indicators most closely related to adolescent traffic safety behavior were selected (education, awareness, attitude, and personal factors). A survey questionnaire was designed and used to obtain scores for traffic safety education, awareness, and attitude. SPSS 19.0 was employed to conduct Pearson correlation analysis and multiple regression model analysis for empirical analysis. The results indicate that education, awareness, attitude, and personal factors can well explain the scores of adolescent traffic safety behavior. The significance level sig. for all variables is less than 0.05, which suggests that all variables have a significant impact and can be effectively applied in the evaluation of adolescent traffic safety behavior

This study centers on the U.S. Presidential Youth Fitness Program (PYFP) and reviews the development of the U.S. health and fitness program. The results indicate that health and fitness education in the U.S. involves health assessment as well as educational and motivational tools that support teachers and students in adopting an active lifestyle. The PYFP serves as a model for health and fitness education, with three core areas: health assessment, professional development, and cognitive motivation. It is suggested that China should implement and establish the concept of differentiated health and fitness for adolescents, emphasize the cultivation of physical literacy in physical activities, and develop a sound governance system and capacity for youth sports curricula
