No full textAs we progress toward Society 5.0’s vision of a human-centereddigital society, ensuring digital accessibility becomes increasingly critical,particularly for citizens with visual impairments and other disabilities.This paper examines the implementation challenges of accessible digital public services within Swiss public administration. Through DesignScience Research, we investigate the gap between accessibility legislation and practical implementation, analyzing how current standards translate into real-world usability. Our research reveals significant barriers including resource constraints, fragmented policy enforcement, and limited technical expertise. To address these challenges, we present the Inclusive Public Administration Framework, which integrates Web Content Accessibility Guidelines with the HERMES project management methodology. This framework provides a structured approach to embedding accessibility considerations throughout digital service development. Our findings contribute to the discourse on digital inclusion in Society 5.0 by providing actionable strategies for implementing accessible public services. As we move towards a more integrated human-machine society, ensuring digital accessibility for visually impaired citizens is crucial for building an equitable and inclusive digital future

No full text«Finger wegg!» ist eine ortsspezifische, multimediale Kunstinstallation auf dem Platz der Kaserne Basel. Sie thematisiert sexualisierte Gewalt als strukturelles, gesellschaftliches Problem im privaten wie öffentlichen Raum. Auch das Kasernenareal, wo es wiederholt zu Übergriffen kommt, macht die Dringlichkeit sichtbar, das Schweigen zu brechen. Unser Semesterthema hiess «Me – the other Selves – and the Space»: In meinem Fall steht «Me» steht für meine persönlichen Erfahrungen als junge Frau auf dem Areal. «The other Selves» umfasst Betroffene, Beobachtende, Täter:innen und verdeutlicht, dass das Problem uns alle betrifft. «The Space» ist das Kasernenareal, das aufgrund seiner Lage, Struktur und Nutzung ein Hotspot für sexualisierte Gewalt ist. Die barrierefreie, kreisförmige Installation schafft einen Raum für Bewusstseinsbildung, Aufklärung und Empathie. Tagsüber trägt die Aussenhülle die Aufschrift «Finger wegg! – Eine Einladung zum Hinschauen». Im Inneren vermitteln Texte und Daten Wissen und Perspektiven. Eine zentrale Säule bietet Raum für persönliche Notizen und Besucher:innen können ihre Erfahrungen festhalten und sichtbar machen. Bei Einbruch der Dunkelheit öffnet sich die Hülle und wird zur Projektionsfläche. Ein Film zeigt in fragmentarischen Bildern, wie sich ein Übergriff auf die betroffene Person auswirkt und welche Folgen er hinterlassen kann. Über Kopfhörer sind zusätzlich Stimmen von Betroffenen zu hören, die über ihre Erfahrungen und Traumata sprechen. Die Projektion durchbricht den Raum, breitet sich über den Platz aus als Symbol für die weitreichenden Folgen sexualisierter Gewalt. No full textThis Bachelor's thesis is a critical and creative exploration of dimensionality, focusing on how we understand, represent, and imagine dimensions beyond the visible. This design-led project questions conventional models of space and perception, centering on the speculative search for a fourth dimension. Through an evolving archive of visual experiments, spatial mappings, and conceptual studies, it challenges familiar imagery and proposes new ways of seeing. Rather than presenting fixed answers, the work embraces ambiguity and invites reflection. It asks: how can we design to perceive what lies beyond what we already see, those hidden layers that shape our reality but remain just out of reach?
