TRAINING OF DANCE PROPERTY MAKING BY USING USED GOODS FOR TEACHERS IN SDN 47 BENGKULU
No full textThe training of dance property making aims to improve knowledge and skills of SDN 47 teachers in making dance property by utilizing used goods as an effort to reduce waste in the environment, especially in SD 47 environment around residential areas. The target of this activity is nine teachers. The method used in this training consists of three stages, namely the preparation, implementation, and evaluation. In this activity, the dominant used item is cardboard which is made into animal and plant themed property. The teacher is divided into two groups, namely the first group for making animal theme properties (bees) and the second group for themed plants (flowers). The teacher makes a different property from the example of PPM team with a more complex detail property. The conclusion of this activity is to provide teachers with skills in making dance property by utilizing used goods

No full textThe community service with a scheme of community partnership program, was carried out with the Sanggar of Ganesha Art Group Palembang who was active in visual arts activities, particularly lakuer painting. Lakuer itself is one of the crafts in the city of Palembang that has local genius, aesthetic and unique value that is not owned by other regions, especially in Sumatra. The potential of lakuer painting which was developed together with the Sanggar Ganesha Art Group is the development of product design as a medium of lakuer painting, which was previously in the form of paintings with 2-dimensional fields developed into craft products in the shape of a square, cylinder or tube. The specific purpose of this service is to develop product designs from lakuer painting to craft products that can be mass produced, namely to increase the quantity and quality of products through technology transfer from manual work to machine work systems. Another aim is to conduct training on production management and financial management of Sanggar Ganesha Art Group in order to become a creative business that has economic and professional value. It apllied demonstration method in the form of training and workshops on design development and production management directly with a work system that is supported by machine technology and financial management. The implementation of the service also applied promotional methods through online media in order to increase product sales

No full textAlong with the development of knowledge and technology, traditional medicines has been proven to be useful in a laboratory test and guaranteed safe for consumption and can cure diseases without causing side effects. Efforts by the community are also recommended by the government in improving health status, one of which is the utilization of Family Medicinal Plants. We can use community service as part of an independent health promotion effort for the community. The purpose of this community service is that the community knows the benefits of plants as medicinal plants so that the community can cultivate and preserve various medicinal plants so that they can reduce medical costs. This community service uses a participatory model. The results of this community service show that the community has begun to use and cultivate Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) as well as productive plants. In the Sukarami sub-district, vacant land has been used for various plants ranging from ginger, turmeric, kencur, durian, guava, soursop, longan, rambutan, and jackfruit. Full text linkPada tahun 2018 Kota Padang Panjang menggelar Festival Mendongeng 24jam untuk menyemarakkan “Hari Mendongeng Sedunia.” Kegiatan yang diselenggarakan oleh Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan (DPK) Kota Padang Panjang bersama dengan Forum Penggiat Literasi (FPL) dan Kampung Literasi Gang Aster itu dilakukan dalam rangka menggalakkan gerakan literasi di Kota Padang Panjang sebagai bagian dari cita-cita menjadi kota literasi Indonesia dan selanjutnya kota literasi dunia. Salah satu permasalahan yang harus diatasi adalah menciptakan tontonan dan hiburan bagi para peserta yang tersebar di berbagai Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (TBM) di kota Padangpanjang agar mereka tertarik menerima literasi melalui media-media yang kreatif, unik dan inovatif. Mencoba menyikapi hal tersebut Pelaksana Abdimas menciptakan satu bentuk pertunjukan baru bernama Wayang Sayur. Wayang Sayuradalah jenis Teater boneka baru yang memanfaatkan sayuran sebagai medium dalam menyampaikan literasi kepada para penonton. Hasil eksperimentasi kemudian didemonstrasikan secara langsung dihadapan para penonton yakni para peserta kegiatan.Demonstasi pembuatan bonek sayuran kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan singkat kepada para peserta untuk dapat mendorong mereka menciptakan sendiri karakter-karakter Wayang Sayurmereka, sebagai bentuk literasi seni pertunjukan, yakni pengembangan teater boneka baru di Kota Padang Panjan

The same thing also happened in Nagari Sungai Landia, District IV Koto Agam Regency, West Sumatra. Nagari or this village is on the Padang Lua-Maninjau route or a road that connects Bukittinggi and Maninjau. Randai training as an effort to preserve traditional art to the young generation in Nagari Sungai Landia with the aim to bring the Minangkabau traditional art closer to the younger generation or millennial generation, so that the wealth of this unique Minangkabau art will be maintained among global developments that are increasingly distancing the young generation in their environment. The development and training of randai uses lecture and practice methods, so that after the training ends, the community or young generation is expected to be able to master good randai play techniques so that they can compete at the local level

The results of the training during the activity including: conceptualizing straw sculpture works, knowing the process and technique of making sculpture frameworks, gaining experience and knowledge on how to sketch and present their works and gain knowledge about the exhibition implementation activities

No full textThe purpose of this community service activity is to provide knowledge (knowledge) and skills (skills) to people with disabilities, especially in the State Extraordinary School 1 of Padangpanjang. This training is also an effort to maintain and preserve the existence of batik as a traditional art and cultural heritage. Making batik techniques from used cardboard is expected to equip students with abilities and expertise so that they have the provision of skills that will improve, develop attitudes, knowledge as a person and community members in conducting reciprocal relationships with the social, cultural and natural environment. The method consist of two stages, namely demonstration and practice. The practice begins with making a design motif that is applied to the canting cap, followed by making batik with the stamp technique. The results are made in the form of tablecloths and bags, with the motif designs from the creations of the students. Limitations do not become a barrier for them in creativity, instead they have the ability to work on taste, intention and creativity that can be seen from the canting cap produced with creative and innovative designs

The mastery of the ability to design electronic advertising media with social media applications (social media) controlled by human resources graphic design programs by graphic designers is expected to spark interest in more eager to develop capabilities, and ultimately improve the quality of overall digital graphic design. The method applied in this activity is the method of presentation regarding the introduction of software, its usefulness, and its application in making interactive learning media, the workshop / demonstration method regarding the operationalization of the program and the practical method of making technical tips and tricks directly for participants in accordance with their respective sub-work each with the use of Adobe programs. Evaluation method by observing differences in the ability of designers before and after training. The results achieved an increase in creative and artistic abilities. Evaluation of the results seen from the assessment of practical tasks that illustrate the success of the material that has been presented. No full textHygiene and sanitation behavior of hand washing with soap is the most inexpensive and effective health investment to prevent various diseases. Washing hands with soap is a small thing but has a big impact on human health. The aim of this community service is to increase knowledge, abilities and active role of PKK, dasawisma, and the community about hygiene and sanitation hand washing with soap so that it can improve the awareness of public health. This community service uses a participatory and quantitative descriptive model to describe the behavior of the population regarding hygiene and sanitation in applying hand washing with soap. In conclusions, the community service consist of: 1) An increase od awareness in hygiene and sanitation of hand washing with soap. 2) Respondents start to realize that washing hands with soap can prevent various diseases. 3) Respondents understand and know the usefulness and important of hand washing with soap time.
