Modern Russian Family as a Source of Reproduction of Social Inequality
Get PDFThe paper deals with the study of the image of Rome and the socio-political situation of the era, which represent a significant historic context. The focus is on the real image of the Roman emperors Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius and Nero. The presence in the novel image of the narrator acting as interpreter of history and guide for the reader to actual historical events, suggests talking about the possibility of the historical analysis of the novel. Sadoc is one of the most significant characters in the novel. We can assume that the images of the author and the narrator seem to be identical and Anthony Burgess` main ideas are given by Sadoc. The article gives attention to the analysis of the narrative features of Sadoc. Highlighting the actions of the apostles in the struggle for faith, the author doesn`t hide the main political events in The Kingdom of the wicked
VIOLENCE AS A SOCIO-CULTURAL PROBLEM: THEORETICAL APPROACH TO CONCEPT
Get PDFThe article reflects the results of a theoretical approach implementation to understanding violence in a teenage environment as a sociocultural phenomenon. Based on research results as foreign (works of A. Bandura, J. Korban, D. G. Levinson, R.D. Lang, N.E. Miller, F. Nietzsche, L.S. D. Finkelhor, Z. Freud, etc.), so domestic (researches of A.G. Ambrumov, I.A. Baev, S.A. Belichev, E.N. Volkov, I.V. Dubrovin, D.I. Eliseev, I.S. Kon, G.E. Sukharev, E.A. Shcheulov, E.M. Cherepanova, etc.) scientists, we found it possible to point out the following areas of study of this issue: approaches of scientists to the interpretation of the concept of “violence”, the study of violence types and forms, mechanisms and patterns of occurrence of violence as a form of people's relationship to each other, expressions of violence against the children. Summarizing the results of scientists’ research we conclude that the violence experienced in childhood has the most severe consequences for a person (in particular, his full and optimal personal development). We determined the establishment of connection between the anxiety of the adolescents and the experience of violence as the targets of our study
ORGANIZATION AND FORMATION OF FLAGSHIP UNIVERSITY IN PERCEPTION OF STUDENT YOUTH
Get PDFLarge-scale technological changes in the modern world present new requirements for the education system. At a new round of socio-historical changes, universities are merging into flagship universities, which should become drivers of the region's social modernization. In the light of the implementation of core universities development, each university will have to follow its own path in achieving the target values in higher education development programs. The article presents an analysis of formation and development of flagship university (on the example of the Tyumen Industrial University). The rationale of the selected topic stems from the necessity of ongoing changes in the field of education and global technological changes that push flagship university to implement long-term strategies. The purpose of the article is to analyze the students' and academic teaching staff’s perception evaluation of the changes taking place at the Tyumen Industrial University. The scientific novelty of the article is an integrated approach: using analytical and sociological methods, the need of flagship university as a university center for innovative, technological and social development of the region is analyzed. Based on the results of a monitoring sociological study conducted in 2017 and 2019 using the method of interviewing experts, which included representatives of institutes directorates, department heads, faculty staff, as well as an online survey of the Tyumen Industrial University students, awareness of the reform essence and the new status of the university, the goals and objectives of the flagship university mission, development prospects was defined. As a result, experts expressed hope for a synergy effect from the merger of two universities and the university’s obvious focus on promoting the socio-economic development of the region, and students identified the main directions of the university’s development in improving the quality of education and employment. It was defined that the Tyumen Industrial University, as a flagship university, carries out the presented longterm university development program. In particular, it has achievements in implementing a new educational model that provides practice-modular education, which offers industries the values they need in order to restart the industrialization of the economic sector and, as a result, the domestic economy. Adverse environmental conditions and unbalanced nutrition have a negative effect not only on health, but also on the emotional state of people. The health of the nation is formed by the health of each person, which is described by their working capacity and active life. Therefore, the physical and moral health of people is a priority strategic object for observation for the State, because it directly influences the economic and political situation of the country and the development of the State as a whole. Wellness tourism is the most effective means for rehabilitation, recreation, and body health promotion. There is recreational tourism, the purpose of which is to promote health, recover, and develop physical and emotional strength. Recreation includes almost all types of recreation, especially health resort treatment and tourism. Therefore, support for the development of the health resort institutions in Russia is so important — they are responsible for the physical and moral health of the population. At the same time, the profit is known as the main basis for investment and further development of the organization. It must be noted that the optimal use of this potential is largely complicated by the lack of effective relationships in the “health resort organization – tour operator (travel agent) – consumer of the health resort product” structure at the moment. The effectiveness of the interaction among the agents in the health resort market depends not only on the ability to quickly mobilize potential resources, but also on the methods and tools that would contribute to the design, production, and promotion of new values of the health resort product
METHODOLOGY OF DEVELOPMENT AND APPLICATION OF INDICATOR MODEL OF RESEARCH: RISKS OF INTERNET ADDICTION DISORDER IN ADOLESCENTS
Get PDFThe relevance of the research lies in the fact that the World Wide Web actively captures the entire global system of socio-economic and political relations. The number of network users is growing dynamically. The high-end population segments are youth and adolescents; nowadays they manifest both positive and negative trends in their development. One of such trends is the internet addiction disorder, which has been studied actively by the scientific community in recent years. However, the diagnostics of adolescent behavior in networks is studied insufficiently. Therefore, the authors set the task of developing a model that allows the detection of risks of the emergence and further growth of Internet addiction in adolescence. This is the indicator model, which includes a set of indicators (indexes) of a predominantly social nature. The paper also gives a brief overview of the methods of studying non-chemical dependencies and substantiates the approach to the formation of an indicator model for measuring the risks of the emergence of Internet addiction, developed by the Department of Sociology and Social Technologies of the Cherepovets State University. The paper presents the results of a sociological study conducted based on the developed model, which demonstrate the heuristic possibilities of the methodology. The materials of the paper are of significant interest to sociologists, psychologists, teachers and other professionals of humanitarian knowledge

Legal Aspects of Granting and Entrusting State Government to the Local Self Governance

Empowering of local governments with certain state powers - is one of the forms of interaction between public authorities and local self-government, softening the rigid organizational and competency dilution between the state and local government. MEDIATOR ACTIVITIES IN INTERNATIONAL LAW AND UPPERKARABAKH CONFLICT
Get PDFThe aim of the work is to study the origin of mediation in international law, the place of Azerbaijan in modern international relations, the study of the possibilities for the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani Upper-Karabakh problem within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group, in foreign policy of the co-chair countries, the prospects for the geostrategic partnership of Azerbaijan with the United States, France and Russia. The methodological basis of the article is the work of domestic and foreign authors, affecting the history of the emergence of international law and the place of Armenian-Azerbaijani UpperKarabakh problem in contemporary international relations. In these studies, have been developed the conceptual provisions of the international problems of the current period, which allows for a comprehensive approach to the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani Upper-Karabakh conflict. From the analysis, the author comes to the conclusion that in the near future the leading countries of the world are unlikely to abandon the application of the policy of double standards, therefore Azerbaijan remains nothing but to rely on its own forces in the settlement of Upper-Karabakh conflict. Today Azerbaijan proves to the whole world its military strength, economic and political stability, all these indicators will serve as the main key factors in the settlement of Karabakh problem
MANAGEMENT OF INVESTMENT SECURITY IN THE REGION: IMPACT ON BUSINESS ENTITIES

At present, the formation of a favorable investment environment is becoming a major factor in increasing the competitiveness of regions. The purpose of the article is the study algorithms of investment security management in the region. Tasks: to analyze the mechanisms for managing the investment activity of the region, as a basis for ensuring investment security; to develop a mechanism for managing investment security in the region; suggest measures to improve investment security on the example of the Crimea. Management of investment security at the regional level involves a system of measures that are carried out in the region and contribute to the mobilization of investment resources; determining the directions of their most effective use in the presence of threats to achieve regional development goals. The investment security of the region directly depends on the effectiveness of investment management. A mechanism for managing investment security in the region developed based on an analysis of existing mechanisms for managing investment activity in the region, as well as features for managing investment security. This mechanism includes the following stages. First, the development of the investment policy of the region. Second, the identification of structures responsible for the investment security of the region. Third, the development of indicators of investment security; determination of threshold values of indicators; legal support of investment security of the region; assessment of investment security and identification of investment policy problems; development of measures to increase the investment attractiveness of the region; making changes to the investment policy of the region
IMPROVING THE METHODOLOGY FOR ASSESSING AND MINIMIZING THE RISK OF AN INVESTMENT PROJECT OF AN INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISE
Get PDFRisk assessment of an investment project is an urgent task for industrial enterprises. The main mechanism for implementing the development strategy of an industrial enterprise is the development and implementation of a feasibility study for investment projects. In these conditions, it is important to assess possible risks and minimize them at the development stage. To this end, the authors, based on the analysis of existing classifications, proposed their own set of external risks and risks related to the investment project. External in relation to the project are the risks of macroeconomics, the country and the enterprise itself. Internal risks are traditional project risks at all stages of its life cycle. One of the most effective tools for minimizing risks and associated losses is simulation. To implement it, it is necessary to correctly identify and assess the impact of risk events on the project implementation phases. The authors consider the development phase of the project and suggest minimizing risks using an original methodology. The essence of this technique is as follows: assessment of the impact of risk on the main project indicators; comparison of the cost of risk prevention measures with the possible losses of the entire project; management decision making
