INBOUND TOURIST FLOW DIRECTIONS TO DETERMINE THE TARGET MARKETS FOR PROMOTING TOURIST DESTINATIONS
Get PDFCurrent trends in the development of international tourism and the policy of states in this sector are of great interest to potential consumers of tourist services, tourism entities, scientists dealing with economics, as well as government agencies in different countries engaged in tourism regulation and development. Since the international tourism industry is one of the most important economic sectors, it affects the economic, cultural, and social development of regions and countries around the world. The development of inbound tourism is currently one of the priorities of the state policy in the tourism industry. It is well known that in many countries worldwide, inbound tourism extensively contributes to the treasury and the state image. It is one of the most important categories of exports, and often is the main source of foreign exchange earnings. Russia has everything necessary for the development of the tourism industry, namely, natural environment, historical, cultural, and material resources. The relevance of this problem predetermines the great interest in this issue on the part of scientists and practitioners. However, today there is no effective mechanism for managing inbound tourism by planning and organizing events aimed at promoting tourist destinations. The article defines at the theoretical level the prospects for the development of inbound tourism, the factors influencing the development of inbound tourism, and the criteria for selecting target markets for inbound tourism. Based on data of United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the article presents the top 10 countries in terms of spending on outbound tourism; based on data of Department of Statistics and Data Management of the Bank of Russia, defines the top 7 countries by the average level of expenditure for tourism purposes in the Russian Federation; based on the data of Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat), determines the number of inbound tourist trips for foreign citizens in Russia. In consequence of the analysis of the obtained data, the process of choosing a destination as a key aspect of the consumer behavior of a foreign tourist is presented

Get PDFLos parques urbanos son parte integral del conjunto de espacios públicos de recreación y naturalidad en las ciudades. Recientemente, se han convertido también en parte de la oferta turística de un destino. El parque urbano es una representación, no solo de la identidad urbana, sino de la sociedad misma, es por eso que su gestión debe estructurarse para llegar a integrar en su diseño y conformación la percepción de un lugar seguro, libre de riesgos de accidentes para turistas y visitantes locales. Este trabajo tuvo como objetivo estudiar los patrones de uso del Parque Central “Hermanos Escobar” de Ciudad Juárez, a fin de conocer cuál es la conformación de actividades que prevalecen en el parque, así como su naturaleza activa o pasiva. Para tal efecto, se levantó una encuesta de N=388 cuestionarios que se aplicó durante los períodos de verano de 2019 e invierno de 2020. El instrumento incluyó ítems referentes a la percepción de inseguridad y de riesgo de accidentes. Los resultados mostraron que al parque llegan usuarios de distintos estados de la república, que su uso es predominantemente pasivo, aunque varía según el período, y que la sensación de seguridades es muy alta. Se presenta una discusión general y las conclusiones que del estudio se derivan

OPERATIONAL EVALUATION OF ATHLETE’S MENTAL CONDITION
Get PDFModern sport is characterized by the importance of accounting for all its main components, which include athlete’s mental conditioning. However, prompt assessment of the sportsman’s mental condition lacks necessary tools and methods, which makes it difficult for a coach to effectively manage the process of athletic instruction. According to psychologists, an informative way to determine the human mental condition is its assessment by eye movements. The purpose of our study was to identify a possibility of using the parameters of eye micromotion (using a relative index – coefficient of variation of eye micromotion) and determining its variation ranges to assess the athlete’s mental condition. Riflemen were involved as test subjects (n=36). Required indicators were recorded using a special photoelectron device and the corresponding method of its application. The relative index used – coefficient of variation (Cvm) of eye micromotion was used for the quantitative evaluation of recorded parameters. Analysis and generalization of results, discrimination test and correlation analysis were also used. The results of the study have showed that the values of the coefficient of variation of athletes’ eye micromotion are related to their qualification. Conditions of the contest most affected the athletes of lower qualification. This was indicated by the differences in Cvm between low (category III) and high-qualification athletes (master of sports) in special (0.21) and training conditions (0.21) and even more noticeable differences in this coefficient for the control (0.42) and competitive (0.50) shooting. The graph shows changes in this coefficient and visual discrimination performance of the test subjects during the contest day and during a competitive shooting exercise, which made it possible to interpret Cvm as an operational indicator for assessing the mental condition, and discrimination ability as one of the indicators of the athlete’s mental condition

It is established that the growth impact of qualitative indicators of socio-economic development is due to structural changes in the economic system, where internal changes occurring in the small hotel business cause dynamic instability. The authors prove that internal changes in the structure of the microlevel of the hotel business are manifested due to the formation of positive feedback, which provides the transfer of information and resource flows through the information channels of the management hierarchy system. It is determined that the strategy of activating small hotel business towards socio-economic leap can be conducted in terms of structure and content as a specificity of the present reality, which consists in the trend of substituting the progressive advance by nonlinear development that allows receiving a boost for making the quantum leap at the microlevel for the economic growth of small hotel business

GENESIS OF WORSHIP PRACTICE IN RUSSIAN NEOPENTECOSTALISM
Get PDFThe forms of change in the practice of worship in the environment of Russian Neopentecostals are analyzed in the article, considering the diversity of its types and congregations. The social characteristics of the practice of worship as a basic part of congregational life are considered: the formation of a prayer tone in the congregation, which sets the normative context of prayer practices, the assertion of religious identity. The practice of worship is defined as prayer practice and is interpreted through the phenomenological paradigm as a form of transcendence of prayer intentionality, seen in Neopentecostal communities as a communicative act unfolding in the process of spiritual formation. The structure of worship is defined, its functioning in the everyday life of the congregation is considered, it is specified that the transition in the structure of worship from one segment of prayer practice to another is determined by the change of musical tone, which can be interpreted as a switch of actor. The specifics of typing the practice of worship in different types of Russian Neopentecostal churches are highlighted, as well as the hypotheses of theoretical explanation of the processes of change: typification is considered as symbolic structuring of congregational everyday life and forming of religious reality through the following processes: externalization, objectification and internalization
HOMICIDE VIOLENCE IN PANDEMIC TIMES: THE “GEOPROCESSING” OF THE MORAL SUFFERING, PRIVATE CODES, THE VULNERABILITIES OF FAMILY LIFE IN THE OCCURRENCES OF CVLIS (2015-2020)
Get PDFOs homicídios são o maior problema da criminalidade violenta no Brasil. Responsável por 10% dos homicídios do mundo, segundo Exame da Declaração de Genebra sobre Violência Armada e Desenvolvimento. O Brasil vem apresentando um crescimento de suas taxas de homicídio numa média de 1.580 mortes ao ano e em suas taxas por cem mil na ordem de 5,6 % ao ano desde o início da década de 1980. Desde esse período, o Brasil vive uma epidemia de homicídios sem encontrar uma cura, uma vacina ou um remédio que pelo menos mitigue minimamente esse flagelo que atinge principalmente jovens, negros, sem renda fixa e moradores de periferias. Correto afirmar, portanto, que o Brasil vivencia, há pelo menos quatro décadas um duro cotidiano de riscos e incertezas. Nossa "modernidade tardia" caracterizar-se-ia pela reprodução estrutural da exclusão social e pela disseminação das violências, com a consequente ruptura de laços sociais e a exclusão de várias categorias sociais, como a juventude, uma das grandes vítimas desse processo. O jovem relaciona-se com a violência de modo ambivalente: ora torna-se vítima, ora surge como agressor. Os dados de homicídios dessas últimas quatro décadas mostram uma tendência de generalização da violência. Considerando todo o período de 1980 a 2019, houve um continuado aumento das mortes de jovens e adultos jovens, sobretudo do sexo masculino, por causas externas (homicídios, suicídios, mortes no trânsito). Há uma sobremortalidade masculina e juvenil. Fundamental frisar que, principalmente os jovens vivenciam um processo de transição para a vida adulta, cada vez mais tardio em nosso momento civilizatório, quando então sua agressividade (pulsão) tem o caráter positivo de habilitá-los a se autonomizarem e a ocuparem um lugar no espaço social. Isto posto, uma das características marcantes nos adolescentes atuais é a incerteza do emprego, assim como o exercício e a vivência da agressividade e da violência. Num mundo de incertezas e de fragmentações, a violência surge como discurso, deveras autônomo. O estudo dos homicídios é fundamental. Pois os homicídios são ações que terminam revelando diversas peculiaridades sobre a sociedade e seus valores. Assim, entender o que levaria a maioria das pessoas que cometem homicídios a agir dessa forma revelaria também, de certa medida, os defeitos e problemas da sociedade que criamos
