    Iacobus Gallus: Selectiores quaedam missae, Liber II

    From the very beginning, one of the most important and ambitious goals of the MAMS collection has been publication of the collected works of Iacobus Handl-Gallus in a modern transcription tailored to the needs of contemporary performers. After the publication of his famous collection of motets, Opus musicum, in thirteen volumes (1985–1990), Edo Škulj edited a four-volume edition of Gallus’s masses in 1991. The edition is enriched by facsimiles from Gallus’s original collection, Selectiores quaedam missae, published in 1580 by the Prague printer Georg Nigrin (Jiří Černý). Gallus divided his Missarum into four books. The second book (Liber II) contains four 6-part settings of the Mass Ordinary. The 2025 digitized post-edition is accompanied by a new preface and an introductory study by Dr Marc Desmet that summarizes and compiles all recent findings about the composer and his work.  Med glavne in najambicioznejše cilje zbirke MAMS je že od vsega začetka sodila izdaja zbranih del Iacobusa Handla - Gallusa v sodobni transkripciji, prilagojeni zahtevam sodobnega izvajalca. Po objavi Gallusovih motetov (Opus musicum) v trinajstih zvezkih (1985–1990) je urednik Edo Škulj leta 1991 pripravil izdajo Gallusovih maš v štirih zvezkih. Izdajo bogatijo faksimili iz Gallusovega izvirnega tiska, ki ga je leta 1580 z naslovom Selectiores quaedam missae objavil praški tiskar Georg Nigrin (Jiří Černý). Gallus je zbirko maš razdelil v štiri knjige. Druga knjiga vsebuje štiri šestglasne uglasbitve mašnega ordinarija.     In this brochure, we present some key sources of problems and ways to improve occupational safety and health in Slovenian agriculture, as well as some "good practises" identified by the Slovenian Community of Practise (SI-CoP). This has been working since 2023 as part of the SafeHabitus project, which is funded by the European Union for the years 2023 ‒ 2026. The aim of the project is to strengthen the knowledge innovation system on occupational health and safety on farms and to support the European Union's transition to social sustainability in agriculture. SI-CoP members, including representatives of farmers, their professional organisations, public institutions, the private sector and researchers, have examined the topics of safety culture, social protection and mental health from the point of view of available data, practical solutions and their lack of consideration by policy makers. Like the work of SI-CoP, the content of this brochure is intended to inform stakeholders and the public about the working conditions of farmers and to encourage the development of measures that will help to make the farming profession more attractive.V tej knjižici predstavljamo nekatere ključne vire težav in priložnosti za izboljšanje varnosti in zdravja pri delu v kmetijstvu v Sloveniji z nekaterimi »dobrimi praksami«, ki jih je identificirala Slovenska skupnost prakse (SI-CoP). Ta od leta 2023 deluje v okviru projekta SafeHabitus, ki ga v letih 2023-2026 financira Evropska unija. Cilj projekta je okrepiti sistem inovacij znanja o zdravju in varnosti pri delu na kmetijah ter podpreti prehod Evropske unije na socialno trajnost v kmetijstvu. Člani SI-CoP, med katerimi so predstavniki kmetov in njihovih stanovskih organizacij, javnih inštitucij, zasebnega sektorja in raziskovalci, so se posvetili problemom varnostne kulture, socialne varnosti in duševnega zdravja, jih obravnavali z vidika razpoložljivih evidenc in podatkov ter praktičnih rešitev oz. primanjkljaja njihove obravnave s strani oblikovalcev politik. Tako kot delovanje SI-CoP je tudi vsebina pričujoče knjižica namenjena informiranju zainteresiranih strani kot tudi širše javnosti o delovnih razmerah kmetov in kmetic in spodbujanju k oblikovanju takih ukrepov, ki bodo prispevali k večji privlačnosti kmečkega poklica

    Recepcija starejšega pesništva na Štajerskem in v Prekmurju

    The monograph consists of two parts, as it deals with two older regional literatures written in the regional languages of the time. Each chapter provides an overview of secular and religious poetry according to the authors of the texts and their confessional and local affiliations. The overview is followed by case studies focussing on those hymnbooks with the greatest reception in the wider Slovenian region. Firstly, the oldest Styrian manuscript hymnal - the Foglar hymnal - is discussed, followed by a study of the reception of two extensive Carniolan hymnals from the 18th century, which are the work of Jožef Ambrožič and Maksimilijan Redeskini. The next two chapters deal with the poetry of two well-known Styrian priests - Peter Dajnko and Štefan Modrinjak. This is followed by an analysis of the hitherto overlooked hymnal of the teacher Ivan Šef. The second part of the monograph, dedicated to the poetry of Prekmurje, deals with the oldest Prekmurje hymnal, the so-called Martjanska pesmarica I. This is followed by a survey of the poetry of the most famous Prekmurje priest of the 19th century, Jožef Borovnjak. The last chapter deals with the reception of Kajkavian and Burgenland poetry in texts from the Prekmurje region.Monografija je sestavljena iz dveh delov, saj obravnava dve starejši pokrajinski književnosti, ki sta nastajali v tedanjih pokrajinskih jezikih. Vsako poglavje prinaša pregled posvetnega in nabožnega pesništva glede na tvorce besedil, konfesionalno in krajevno pripadnost. Pregledu sledijo študije primerov, ki se osredotočajo na tiste pesmarice, ki izkazujejo največjo recepcijo v širšem slovenskem prostoru. Najprej je obravnavana najstarejša štajerska rokopisna pesmarica – Foglarjeva pesmarica, sledita raziskavi recepcije dveh obširnih kranjskih pesmaric 18. stoletja, ki sta delo Jožefa Ambrožiča in Maksimilijana Redeskinija. Naslednji dve poglavji se osredotočata na pesniško ustvarjanje dveh znanih štajerskih duhovnikov – Petra Dajnka in Štefana Modrinjaka. Sledi analiza do sedaj spregledane pesmarice učitelja Ivana Šefa. V drugem delu monografije, ki je posvečen prekmurskemu pesništvu, je obravnavana najstarejša prekmurska pesmarica, t. i. Martjanska pesmarica I. Sledi raziskava pesništva najbolj znanega prekmurskega duhovnika 19. stoletja Jožefa Borovnjaka.     The monograph covers all known inflectional and accentual patterns for common nouns in standard Slovenian, including all accentual and morphological doublets identified. These patterns provide a theoretical and practical basis for presenting inflectional and accentual patterns in the new growing descriptive and normative dictionary of standard Slovenian (eSSKJ), which is being developed at the Department of Lexicology of the ZRC SAZU Fran Ramovš Institute of the Slovenian Language. The volume consists of several sections. It begins by defining the concept of standard language and presenting the relationship between spoken and written standard language. This is followed by a presentation of the rationale for defining inflectional and accentual patterns, and by a description of how these patterns are represented in selected dictionaries and other sources. The volume then continues with an overview of the methodology used in defining the inflectional and accentual patterns and the findings of morphological and phonological studies of contemporary standard Slovenian. The core part of the volume provides a systematic treatment of inflectional and accentual patterns for nouns, whereby all nouns are classified into specific paradigms.Monografija obsega vse znane pregibnostno-naglasne vzorce knjižne slovenščine za nelastnoimenske samostalnike z vsemi prepoznanimi naglasnimi in oblikovnimi dvojnicami vred. Vzorci predstavljajo teoretično in praktično osnovo za prikaz pregibnostno-naglasnih vzorcev v novem rastočem informativno-normativnem slovarju slovenskega knjižnega jezika (eSSKJ), ki nastaja na Oddelku za leksikologijo Inštituta za slovenski jezik Frana Ramovša ZRC SAZU. Monografija je sestavljena iz več delov. Na začetku je opredeljen knjižni jezik in predstavljeno je razmerje med govorjenim in pisanim knjižnim jezikom. Temu sledi utemeljitev oblikovanja pregibnostno-naglasnih vzorcev in opis prikaza vzorcev v izbranih slovarskih priročnikih in drugih virih.     Over the course of the project Dance as ICH: New models of facilitating participatory dance events (Dance–ICH), we have journeyed across Europe — from Norway and Belgium to Slovenia, Romania, Hungary, Greece, — engaging with a rich diversity of dance traditions, communities, and practices. This initiative has not only brought together cultural heritage institutions, researchers, and artists, but most importantly, it has fostered deep collaborations with communities, inviting them to become co-creators in the safeguarding process. In this toolbox we discuss and draws six different paintings of why and how museums and cultural heritage institutions should play a part in future sustainable structures for safeguarding dance as living heritage. This sustainable structure called events of practice exhibition should therefore encompass more than the events themselves. Firstly, these events should be recurrent and embedded in a permanent space. Secondly, they should entail a facilitator in the role of a supporter, in line with the principles for adaptive management to ensure long-term viability, and recognition of value. A cultural institution and its living heritage facilitators can help the dance community by promoting and incorporating their practices into an organizational system, without interfering with the execution of the intangible heritage practices itself. For future and continuing research, it will be obviously important to research these methods over time, in different contexts, and to question the distribution of roles in co-creative processes and the sustainable structures when it comes to funding and resources. The publication is a Belgian Dutch translation of the handbook originally titled Dancing Heritages: Co-creating Events of Practice – Handbook.V okviru projekta Ples kot nesnovna kulturna dediščina: Novi modeli omogočanja participativnih plesnih dogodkov (Dance – ICH) nas je pot zanesla čez velik del Evrope (od Norveške in Belgije do Slovenije, Romunije, Madžarske in Grčije), na njej pa smo se seznanili z izjemno pestrostjo plesnih tradicij, skupnosti in praks. Ta pobuda ni povezala zgolj kulturnodediščinskih institucij, raziskovalcev in umetnikov. V prvi vrsti je spodbudila tesno sodelovanje s skupnostmi, ki smo jih povabili k soustvarjanju procesa ohranjanja dediščine. Koncept razstave s participativnim plesnim dogodkom prepleta plesne vsebine, razstavne elemente, kurirane dogodke in participativne plesne dogodke ter povezuje plesne skupnosti, obiskovalce in muzejske strokovnjake. Za doseganje trajnostnega cilja, tj. ohranjanje plesa v muzejskem prostoru, je treba vse te koščke mozaika premišljeno uskladiti. Ta priročnik na vzorcu šestih razstav in študij primerov ponazarja, kako je koncept razstave s participativnim plesnim dogodkom plesnim skupnostim pomagal pri nadaljevanju njihovih praks, predvsem z ustvarjanjem novih priložnosti za prenos plesne dediščine in njeno večjo prepoznavnost. Predstavljamo šest različnih primerov, kako lahko muzeji in dediščinske institucije odigrajo ključno vlogo pri vzpostavitvi trajnostnih struktur za ohranjanje plesa kot žive dediščine.     In business, branding is used to shape perceptions of products or services. Since branding can also influence stakeholders’ views of geographical areas and their elements, it has become a key component of territorial development programs. In Slovenia, place branding has been applied to rural development for over two decades, yet its implementation and outcomes remain insufficiently studied. Slovenian rural areas thus offer a valuable “geographical laboratory” for exploring these processes. This research treats place branding as a spatial phenomenon, examining its interplay with geographical areas. The study focuses on the spatial patterns and regional characteristics of place branding in Slovenian rural areas, analyzing causes and effects. A combination of qualitative and quantitative methods is employed: literature review, online survey, semi-structured interviews, stakeholder discussions, qualitative data analysis with Atlas.ti, and infographic techniques. Findings reveal that place-branding processes are shaped by the socioeconomic, structural, and organizational characteristics of rural areas. The study highlights deviations from theoretical frameworks: place branding in Slovenia often exacerbates regional disparities instead of fostering balanced development. Implementation tends to be sectoral rather than holistic, with fragmented and poorly coordinated measures. Limited stakeholder motivation for cooperation further reinforces a top-down decision-making approach.Znamčenje se uporablja za upravljanje dojemanja izdelkov, storitev ali območij, s čimer vpliva na pogled deležnikov in postaja ključni del teritorialnega razvoja. V Sloveniji se ta pristop pri razvoju podeželskih območij uporablja že več kot dve desetletji, vendar njegovi učinki še niso bili celovito preučeni. Slovensko podeželje predstavlja priložnost za analizo prostorskih vzorcev in značilnosti znamčenja z vidika vzrokov in učinkov. V monografiji je znamčenje obravnavano kot prostorski pojav, pri čemer je analizirano njegovo součinkovanje z območjem. Pri raziskovanju je bila uporabljena kombinacija metod, vključno s pregledom literature, spletnim anketiranjem, polstrukturiranimi intervjuji, analizo podatkov v programu Atlas.ti in infografiko. Rezultati kažejo, da procesi znamčenja odražajo družbeno-gospodarske, strukturne in organizacijske značilnosti podeželskih območij. Analiza je razkrila odstopanja od teoretičnih predpostavk: znamčenje pogosto poglablja razvojne razlike, sektorska usmeritev prevlada nad celovito, posamezni ukrepi pa so vsebinsko nepovezani. Šibka motivacija deležnikov omejuje sodelovanje in vodi v odločanje od zgoraj navzdol, kar zmanjšuje učinkovitost znamčenja

    This volume features six double-choir motets attributed to Iacobus Handl-Gallus that circulated exclusively in manuscript form during the 16th and 17th centuries. These compositions were never published, either during the composer's lifetime or posthumously, and have survived solely in manuscript sources now housed in various libraries and music archives across Europe. Presented here for the first time in a modern critical edition, these motets are accompanied by a detailed introduction and critical commentary. The introduction explores the complex issues surrounding the transmission of the works, including the origins and historical context of the manuscripts.The critical reports provide an in-depth analysis of the philological challenges posed by the sources.V zvezku je predstavljenih šest osemglasnih motetov, ki jih glasbeni rokopisi iz 16. in 17. stoletja pripisujejo Iacobusu Handlu - Gallusu. Te skladbe niso bile objavljene ne za časa skladateljevega življenja ne po njegovi smrti in so se ohranile le v prepisih, ki so zdaj shranjeni v različnih knjižnicah in glasbenih arhivih širom po Evropi. Moteti so prvič predstavljeni v sodobni kritični izdaji in so opremljeni z obširnim uvodom in kritičnim komentarjem. Spremna besedila obravnavajo vprašanja avtorstva, avtentičnosti in ohranjenosti del ter izvor in zgodovinsko ozadje glasbenih rokopisov.
