In: Access to justice in Eastern Europe : AJEE : peer-reviewed journal. Kyjev : Publishing House VD "Dakor", 2024. ISSN 2663-0575. Vol. 7, no. 4 (2024), pp. 347-375.Background: Acquiring ownership rights to real estate in Slovakia is complex and frequently encounters hurdles. The formal procedures governing this process can be stringent, resulting in challenges when transferring ownership rights. This article critically evaluates the obstacles and potential advantages as the Slovakian Cadastre shifts towards a digital system. The authors also explore the scope of contractual freedom and governmental intervention in acquiring property rights alongside recent challenges encountered by the digitalized system under both Slovakian and European law. The study analyses the theoretical framework guiding decision-making by Slovak administrative authorities in cadastral proceedings, underscoring the critical role of formal legal procedures in ensuring legal certainty and stability. Additionally, the research underscores the importance of accurately registering changes to property rights within the digitalized real estate registration system to uphold the integrity and transparency of title records. Methods: The research follows a qualitative methodology, employing various qualitative methods, including historical description and analysis, in-depth document analysis, inductive method, comparative analysis, and case studies rooted in legal theory, administrative law and property law. It may utilise conceptual frameworks like legal certainty and stability to inform its examination. The methodology may not involve empirical data collection or statistical analysis but rather a critical examination of the existing legal framework and theoretical perspectives. Results and conclusions: Acquiring ownership rights to real estate in Slovakia is a complex process hindered by discrepancies between registered and actual property statuses, outdated maps and inaccuracies in parcel boundaries. The lack of clarity and precision significantly affects legal certainty and private property rights. In response, the Office of Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre has proposed a comprehensive amendment to the Cadastral Act, aiming to update the classification of land, regulate electronic submissions, and simplify application processes. However, the proposed amendment may restrict public access to information contained in the Cadastre, which could negatively impact the exercise of property rights and the right to freely access information.VEGA 1/0300/24 Strategické výzvy aplikácie Nariadenia EÚ č. 650/2012 o cezhraničných dedeniac

Brno : Středoevropské centrum slovanských studií, 2024. ISSN 1804-7246. Roč. 15, č. 1 (2024), s. [1-14].Eva Luka's poetic work represents a wide repertoire of animal characters and motifs developing in parallel with the author's poetry, from the debut collection Divosestra (1999) to the latest collection Jazver (2019). One of the objectives of the study is an effort to provide the development of Eva Luka's poetics, to define fundamental points and tensions, which are also referred to through animal motifs and characters. I work with the hypothesis that the existence of the lyrical subject in the fictional world changes, moves from the negative to the positive side of being, and this fact is also signaled by the poet's ways of developing autostylization in parallel with animal characters and motifs or the creation of hybrid characters. The starting base is provided by the identification of the two fictional worlds of Eva Luka's lyrics, the movement of the heroes on the border between their own fictional world and the dream world, which is also presented as a hybrid. I proceed with a partial analysis and interpretation of the emblem poems of Eva Luka's poetic collections with the aim of determining the function of the selected animals and motifs in the text chronologically and subsequently (I focus on recurring motifs and characters)

In: Sustainability. Basel : Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute, 2024. ISSN 2071-1050. Vol. 16, no. 16 (2024), pp. 1-18.Erosion is a process often driven by land management deteriorating or changing soil properties along the slopes, with consequences on ecosystem services. In a model area with Stagnic Cambisol, with two different types of land use (grassland—GL and arable land—AL), on an erosion transect in three different hillslope positions (upper, middle, and lower), in two different depths (0–10 and 35–45 cm), we observed the impact of soil erosion on soil and plant properties and ecosystem services by use of direct measurements and models. In GL, soil available potassium (SK), soil available phosphorus (SP) and pH increased both downward along the slope and in soil depth. A significantly (p < 0.01) higher content of plant nutrients (PN, PP, and PK) and shoot biomass was recorded in the lower part of the hillslope. In AL, soil parameters (pH, SOC, SN, and SOC/SN) reached the lowest values at the middle hillslope position at the shallowest depth. A relatively negligible annual average soil loss was recorded for GL (0.76 t/ha/yr). To the contrary, a very high rate of soil erosion was found for AL with maize silage. The actual soil moisture was 50% higher in GL compared to AL, which was reflected also in the soil water deficit index (SWDI) being more favorable for GL.Ministerstvo pôdohospodárstva a rozvoja vidieka SR 720/2023/MPRVSR-93

In: Journal of infrastructure, policy and development. Tustin : EnPress Publisher, 2024. ISSN 2572-7923. Vol. 8, no. 11 (2024), pp. 1-16.The application of quality management methods and tools is an important prerequisite for the success and performance increase of manufacturing enterprises. The paper deals with the application of methods and tools of quality management (MTQM) in manufacturing enterprises. The paper aims to analyze whether there is a relationship between the application of MTQM and the size of enterprises, the use of MTQM, and the performance of enterprises measured through the achieved profit. It also analyzes the impact of MTQM on the agility of manufacturing enterprises measured through the decrease in sales expressed in revenues during the pandemic period. The paper presents the results of the research which was conducted between 2020–2022. Several statistical tools such as the Chi-square goodness-of-fit test, Pearson’s chi-square test, and contingency analysis were used to evaluate the different analyses as well as the representativeness of the sample. Based on the results, it can be concluded that there are differences in the use of MTQM and the size of the enterprise as well as the performance of the enterprises. At the same time, the hypothesis that enterprises using a wider range of quality management methods and tools have a higher potential to adapt to unexpected market changes was also confirmed.VEGA 1/0333/22 Agilita podniku - schopnosť efektívnej adaptácie na nepredvídateľné zmeny prostredia v kontexte riešenia koronakrízy počas pandémie COVID-19 VEGA 1/0093/23 Výskum potenciálu cirkulárnej ekonomiky v slovenskom podnikateľskom prostredí pri výrobe inovovaných produktov na báze recyklovaných materiálov drevo - guma - plas

Vol. 25, no. 3 (2024), pp. 121-127.The authors of the study used a questionnaire to find out whether there are significant differences in teachers’ views on teaching basketball from a point of view of gender differences. The sample consisted of 450 physical and sport education teachers (274 men and 176 women) who teach in 17 districts in eastern Slovakia, in upper primary schools. Significant differences at the p<0.01 level were found in the popularity of teaching basketball. While for 20.45% of women, basketball is the second most popular taught sport after volleyball (39.77%), for 13.14% of men, basketball is the fourth most popular taught sport after football (40.51%), volleyball (21.90%), and floorball (19.71%). Despite significant differences (p<0.01), more than 54% of men and 48% of women teach basketball most often for 6-10 hours within a single thematic unit. A negative finding is that 3.28% of men and 11.36% of women do not teach basketball. Game-oriented didactic approach dominates in teaching for both genders (54.72% of men and 55.77% of women). According to 32.85% of men and 40.91% of women, the main disadvantage of teaching basketball is the low interest of pupils in learning the sport. The second most frequently chosen shortcoming of basketball teaching was the low time allocation of the subject (29.59% of men and 28.41% of women).KEGA 005UMB-4/2023 Tvorba didaktických multimediálnych učebníc zameraných na vyučovanie športových hier basketbal a volejbal v rámci telesnej a športovej výchovy na druhom stupni základných škô

In: Journal of Applied Mathematics, Statistics and Informatics. Trnava : The University of Saint Cyril and Metodius in Trnava, The Faculty of Natural Sciences, 2024. ISSN 1336-9180. Vol. 20, no. 2 (2024), pp. 19-41.Proper edge 3-coloring of a cubic graph is an NP-complete problem, which can be used in order to model several interesting practical problems. A method for correct and efficient assigning of variables used in the program to registers of the system, scheduling of a set of tasks to a set of processors while each task has to be executed on a number of processors simultaneously, or frequency assignment of radio stations without interference are all typical instances of problems modelled by graph coloring. When considering cubic graphs, which consist of vertices incident to precisely three edges, we can identify two distinct graph groups divided by their chromatic index, a minimal number of colors needed for the proper coloring of such graph. In the research presented in this article, we conduct a comparative study of the effectiveness of machine learning classifiers in the task of determining the chromatic index of cubic graphs, present an evaluation of the accuracy and precision of these models, and use the Shapley Additive Explanations model for the identification of graph attributes and their values crucial in the models’ decision making.KEGA 014UMB-4/2023 Tvorba elektronických kľúčov na determináciu húb pre mobilné zariadenia - pomôcky pre rôzne stupne vzdelávani

In: Notes on intuitionistic fuzzy sets. Sofia : Balgarska akademiya na naukite, 2024. ISSN 1310-4926. Vol. 30, no 1 (2024), pp. 77-91.In the real world applications it is common that relationship between tuples of attributes of dimension higher than two need to be examined. It is well known that correlation analysis is focused on measuring of strength and direction of relationship between a pair of attributes. Algorithms using intercriteria analysis that solve the problem of measuring the strength of relationship between triples, quadruples, etc., were designed previously. The research presented in this paper is motivated by possibilities of using intuitionistic fuzzy equivalence relations to classify the data into the specific classes. The objective of this work is to use the values of correlation coefficients and compute the relationship between more than two attributes. The results are compared with the results obtained by intercriteria analysis.KEGA 014UMB-4/2023 Tvorba elektronických kľúčov na determináciu húb pre mobilné zariadenia - pomôcky pre rôzne stupne vzdelávani

In: Geocarto International. Abingdon : Taylor & Francis Group, 2024. ISSN 1752-0762. Vol. 39, no. 1 (2024), pp. 1-23.The Middle Benue Trough (MBT) in Northcentral Nigeria is a geologically significant area with vast mineral resource potential. Employing airborne magnetic and radiometric data, this study utilized the Centre for Exploration Targeting on enhanced total magnetic intensity data to reveal geologic structures, lithological units and mineralization zones. Lineaments predominantly trended in NE-SW direction, with noteworthy orientations in NNE-SSW and E-W. Radiometric anomalies correlated with distinct lithological units, pinpointing granitic gneiss, alluvium, shale, siltstone and sandstone. A magnetically concentrated and potassium-rich area indicated potential polymetallic-magnetic mineralization. The 2D model illustrated igneous intrusions influencing prevalent geologic structures, such as sediment baking and doming. Thorough analysis, including source parameter imaging, standard Euler deconvolution and 2D forward modelling, revealed sediment thicknesses below 1500 m. This research enhances understanding of the MBT’s geological features, offering valuable insights for mineral exploration and resource assessment in the region.RSP2024R351 King Saud Universit

In: Apps - Academic Journal of Applied Linguistics and Languages. Zvolen : Ústav cudzích jazykov, 2024. ISSN 2729-9805. Vol. 2, no. 2 (2024), pp. 37-44.The paper deals with the expression of space in the novel Les Météores by French writer Michel Tournier. It analyses the complex system of spatial references used in the text, being grounded in the works of various linguists. The novel, based on the exceptionally rewritten and renewed Greek myth of the twins Castor and Pollux, is a long initiatory quest of Paul searching for his brother Jean, passing through different spaces of certain symbolic value. Therefore, Les Météores represents an ideal base for the analysis of the linguistic units expressing space. All spatial references demonstrate a novelistic complexity and variety in which the plot of the novel advances, and the characters develop, change and metamorphose
