In: Religions : interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open access journal. Basel : Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute, 2024. ISSN 2077-1444. Vol. 15, no. 4 (2024), pp. 1-13.Our study wants to clarify the structure of spirituality by applying existing multidimensional theories of religiosity and spirituality to in-depth interviews conducted among a sample of students. The current research analyzes 15 qualitative semi-structured interviews conducted among a sample of students at the Adventist Theological Institute in the Czech Republic and was conducted in May 2022. Since religiosity is a multidimensional phenomenon and we wished to investigate development in each dimension, we based our analyses on Glock and Stark’s model with four of their dimensions of religiosity: “belief”, “practice”, “experience”, and “knowledge”. Our study reflects on existing multidimensional religiosity/spirituality; six dimensions by Huber overlap with the religiosity/spirituality model we chose as the applied multidimensional model. As a result, based on the interviewees’ statements, we distinguished these dimensions in the context of specific conditions in the respondents’ individual personal experiences in the absence of personal group interaction. In our research, we ask the question: “What impact has the move of the entire formal and informal environment of an educational institution to an online environment had on the spirituality of each student?” An important finding is that the COVID-19 pandemic period brought about an exciting stimulus for spiritual support in theological education. The emergence of individual and independent religiosity/spirituality is a significant religious change

In: Ecological Engineering & Environmental Technology. Varšava : Polish Society of Ecological Engineering, 2024. ISSN 2719-7050. Vol. 25, no 5 (2024), pp. 256-264.Occurrence, distribution, and toxicity assessment of 16 Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) prioritized by the US Environmental Protection Agency in pyrolysis products – pyrolysis oil and pyrolysis wax – of different plastics are characterized. PP, HDPE, LDPE, PVC, PS (respectively, polypropylene, high- and low-density polyethylene, polyvinylchloride and polystyrene) and their mixture named 5P are chosen as a feed material for pyrolysis. Pyrolysis process is carried out in a custom-built laboratory batch reactor with the pyrolysis temperature of 450 °C for PP, PVC, PS and 500 °C for HDPE and LDPE. 5P mixture is pyrolyzed at 500 and 700 °C. PAHs quantification is used to determine the toxicity equivalency quantity TEQ(BaP) for each pyrolysis product and to establish the degree of toxicity. The highest total concentration of 16 PAHs in pyrolysis oil is found to decrease in the order of PVC > PP > PS > LDPE > HDPE. According to TEQ(BaP), the toxicity of the most toxic pyrolysis oils correlates with the aforementioned order of the total concentration, i.e., being lowest for HPDE and highest for PVC. For pyrolysis wax, the highest total concentration of 16 PAHs is for PVC > PS > LDPE > PP > HDPE, while TEQ(BaP) value decreases as PVC > LDPE > PP > PS > HDPE. The PAHs concentration and TEQ(BaP) values of 5P mixture show similar trends in both products (oil, wax), i.e., they both increase with increasing pyrolysis temperature.MŠMT ČR LM2023066 Nanomateriály a nanotechnologie pro ochranu životního prostředí a udržitelnou budoucnos

Č. 82 (3) (2024), s. 105-110.The rapid expansion of information technology in recent decades has deeply influenced various societal domains, including the legal landscape. This impact is particularly notable in substantive criminal law, where new phenomena have emerged, and in criminal procedural law, where innovative tools have been introduced to facilitate the gathering of essential information for fair and efficient legal processes. Among these tools, modern recording technologies, encompassing visual, audio, or audiovisual formats, have gained prominence for their role in documenting events and serving as evidence in criminal proceedings. Governed by legal frameworks such as Article 10(21) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, these recordings are classified as information and technical means when meeting specified criteria, primarily serving as crucial evidence sources capturing sound, images, or their combination. However, challenges arise when parties involved in criminal proceedings independently procure such recordings, aiming to present them to law enforcement or the court discreetly and confidentially. This necessitates a clear differentiation between recordings obtained within the procedural framework, regulated by Article 114 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, and those obtained externally. Establishing such distinctions is pivotal for upholding the integrity and legality of evidence presented in criminal proceedings, ensuring fairness and transparency in the pursuit of justice. In this paper we will analyze the concepts of inadmissibility and legality of evidence in the context of criminal proceedings. The aim is to highlight their interrelation and to distinguish their key aspects. The focus will be on the issue of private recordings as evidence. We will analyse the conditions under which a private recording can be used as evidence in criminal proceedings. We will take into account the relevant case law of the courts and the European Court of Human Rights. This paper comprehensively analyses the issue of admissibility and legality of evidence in criminal proceedings, with particular emphasis on private recordings as evidence. The paper should provide a comprehensive overview of the issue and help in solving practical questions that arise in this context

Vol. 14, no. 1 (2024), pp. 277-282.Ageing could be perceived as a dimension encompassing potentially novel roles with favourable and unfavourable connotations. This study explores the views and knowledge of the ageing process and the older generation from university students' perspectives. 60 students enrolled in universities in Slovakia participated in asynchronous email interviews. The data analysis employed a thematic content analysis to interpret the study's outcomes. The results suggest that the viewpoints of university students play a pivotal role in shaping their strategies towards embracing healthy and active ageing in the light of the moral development theory. Higher education institutions should prioritise the positive development of students´ attitudes to ageing and the ageing population by fostering the holistic development of their personality.KEGA 004UCM-4/2022 Podpora zdravia a pohody študentov prostredníctvom inkluzívnej edukácie na terciárnom stupn

S. 247-262.Digitalization is one of the most actual trends in Slovakia and the EU, it affects the social and economic environment in many ways. Both Slovakia and Europe have set strategic goals in this area and tools to fulfill them. Looking at the results of measuring the level of digitization using the DESI index, Slovakia lags behind the European average in many aspects. We don't even have a lot of data on the real level of digitization of businesses and the needs in this area in Slovakia. Data are not monitored in official statistical surveys to the required extent. However, there are some surveys or examples of successful Slovak practice that monitor the level of digitization and digital transformation and from which the needs of companies in the subject area can also be identified. The aim of our contribution in the theoretical part is to summarize the basic principles of digitalization of businesses and their importance, clarify main EU and national strategic documents of digitalization. In the analytical part, we aim to bring information about the availability of data and present some key data importance of digitization for the businesses, about the threats and opportunities which digitalization brings for them.VEGA 1/0479/23 Výskum cirkulárneho spotrebiteľského správania v kontexte STP marketingového modelu VEGA 1/0411/24 Vplyv ekonomických nástrojov verejnej politiky na digitálnu pripravenosť podniko

S. 160-168.Kalistenika je forma cvičenia prevažne s vlastnou hmotnosťou, ktorú využívali už v antickej Sparte. V našom okolí sme zaznamenali zvýšený záujem o túto formu cvičenia zo strany detí, čo môžeme pozorovať na základe ich aktívnej účasti v školských a mimoškolských športových aktivitách preferujúcich tréning s vlastnou hmotnosťou. V Čadci vedieme záujmový útvar “kalistenika”, kde máme o vyše 30 % viac detí ako pred rokom. Z tohto dôvodu sme sa rozhodli riešiť problematiku silového tréningu s vlastnou hmotnosťou a pozorovať zmenu silových schopností u žiakov 8. ročníka základných škôl. Výskum bol realizovaný od 17. 10. 2022 do 09. 12. 2022 na základnej škole Milana Rastislava Štefánika v Čadci. Výskumný súbor tvorilo 26 žiakov 8. ročníka základnej školy, ktorí boli rozdelení na experimentálnu skupinu (13 žiakov) s priemerným vekom 13,84 ± 0,54 rokov a kontrolnú skupinu (13 žiakov) s priemerným vekom 14,18 ± 0,57 rokov. Vstupné testovanie (vykonané 14. 10. 2022) a výstupné testovanie (vykonané 12. 12. 2022) pozostávalo z 3 testov, a to: výdrž v zhybe podhmatom, ľah-sed za 30 sekúnd a opakované kľuky.

Roč. 16, č. 1 (2024), s. 13-22.The subject of the paper is the modelling and models of the names of urbanonyms of the city of Zvolen according to the modelling scheme of P. Odaloš. The aim of the study is to determine the models and semantic fields of urbanonyms in the research sample. The research sample consists of 132 urbanonyms of the city of Zvolen. In the modelling we use the A1 model, which is formed by functional members, namely the functional member U - urbanonynum (denotes the type of onymic relation), and the functional members HCh - honorific characteristic, FL - flora, VL - feature, PU - belonging to the territory, and FA - fauna. These functional members denote additional semantic features. The models of urbanonyms consist of 5 semantic fields, the most numerous being the semantic field (U) + HCh, which contains up to 82 urbanonyms. The most frequent models are A1 = (U) + HCh (72), A1 = FL + (U) (16), A1 = VL (U) (13). Modeling scheme of P. Odaloš is based on the knowledge of Slovak and Czech onomastics and elaborates the Slovak and Czech tradition of onomastic modelling.VEGA 1/0378/23 Synchrónne modely a modelovanie toponým a kozmoný
