Get PDFIn the political and academic spheres, the concept of autonomy has been historically cloaked in an aura of probity. This symbolic veneer is not gratuitous, at least not in a context like ours. A deep dive into the rise and consolidation of Autonomous Constitutional Bodies (ACBs) in recent decades would reveal how much we owe them in terms of the real exercise of democracy, access to information, economic competition, and national development, free from the harmful practices of monolithic and authoritarian power, exercised from the presidency that we suffered for several terms. The case of university autonomy runs parallel to that of the ACBs, although with ontological, historical, legal, and practical particularities that distinguish it from the autonomy exercised by the latter.En el ámbito político y académico, la historia ha cubierto de un hálito de probidad al concepto de autonomía. Este revestimiento simbólico no es gratuito, al menos en un contexto como el de nuestro país. Un acercamiento profundo al florecimiento y la consolidación de los Órganos Constitucionales Autónomos (OCA) en las últimas décadas nos permitiría observar lo mucho que les debemos en temas como el ejercicio real de la democracia, el acceso a la información, la competencia económica y el desarrollo nacional sin las dañinas costumbres del poder unívoco y autoritario, ejercido desde el presidencialismo que padecimos durante varios sexenios. Get PDFEl Fandango is not properly a literary newspaper, in fact, what can be considered literary in the eyes of the 21st century is little compared to the political and social information it contains.However, the articles that begin each of the issues of the publication and that we can consider editorial, in today\u27s language, fit within some kind of literary essayistic writing. Their author, for the most part Jesús F. López, expresses himself with a refined language and his turns of phrase, as well as his style, can only be described as literary. López, who was responsible for El Fandango, is considered one of the best prose writers of 19th century Aguascalientes.El Fandango no es propiamente un periódico literario, de hecho lo que a los ojos del siglo XXI se puede considerar literario es poco, comparado con la información política y social que contiene.Sin embargo, los artículos que inician cada uno de los números de la publicación y que podemos considerar editoriales, en el lenguaje de hoy, caben dentro de algún tipo de escritura literaria ensayística. Su autor, en la mayor parte Jesús F. López, se expresa con un lenguaje depurado y sus giros, así como su estilo, no pueden sino ser calificados de literarios. López, que fue el responsable de El Fandango, está considerado como uno de los mejores prosistas del Aguascalientes del siglo XIX
Universales y localización múltiple
Get PDFIt seems that when we try to describe the world we immediately encounter two different types of entities, on the one hand, we have objects such as atoms, electrons, events, planets, and so on, and on the other hand, things like charge, mass, wave width, color, among others. This can be seen both in science and in our everyday speech: science speaks of atoms with a certain amount of mass, or such an electron has a certain e-charge, or a cobalt surface tends to reflect light within a certain bandwidth. At the same time, when those of us who are less scientifically literate want to describe our surroundings, we do not speak exclusively of objects, but we assign them properties, certain dispositions, that is, we strengthen them with statements such as “it is green”, “it is heavy”, “it is close to me”, and so on. This is a very everyday and unsophisticated way of referring to objects, which is indicative of how we relate to the world. It is true that an account of the properties that an object has may be erroneous by assigning it characteristics that it does not have by itself, “being beautiful,” for example; however, that does not lead us to dispense with them as a means by which we try to know the nature of an object.Parece que al tratar de describir el mundo inmediatamente nos encontramos con dos tipos de entidades distintas, por un lado, tenemos objetos tales como átomos, electrones, eventos, planetas, etcétera, y por el otro, cosas como carga, masa, ancho de onda, color, entre otros. Lo anterior lo podemos comprobar tanto en la ciencia como en nuestro hablar cotidiano: la ciencia habla de átomos con cierta cantidad de masa, o tal electrón tiene cierta carga e-, o una superficie de cobalto tiende a reflejar la luz dentro de un ancho de banda determinado. Paralelamente, cuando los que somos menos duchos en ciencia queremos describir nuestro alrededor, no hablamos exclusivamente de objetos, sino que les asignamos propiedades, ciertas disposiciones, es decir, los robustecemos con enunciados como “es de color verde”, “es pesado”, “está cerca de mí”, etcétera. Ésta es una manera muy cotidiana y poco sofisticada de referirse a los objetos, que no deja de ser un indicativo de cómo nos relacionamos con el mundo. Es verdadero que un recuento de las propiedades que un objeto tiene puede ser erróneo al asignarle características que no tiene por sí mismo, “ser hermoso”, por ejemplo; sin embargo, eso no nos lleva a que prescindamos de ellas como medio por el cual intentemos conocer la naturaleza de un objeto

No full textThe topic of industrial heritage in Aguascalientes has become one of the most relevant and iconic (due to what has been achieved in the conservation and reuse of this place) for scholars of the subject in general, which has led to this line of research to be worked by researchers at the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes as part of the contribution that enriches the knowledge of the heritage of the city. For this reason, we propose to analyze the cultural imaginaries of how the industrial places were observed at the time by the press, since this is a representation of the actors of that time, seeking to make contributions to the knowledge of the cultural memory of the city of Aguascalientes on this particular aspect of the history of economic activities.Beyond seeming to be a social science research done by people outside the field, and therefore lacking validity to be directed by architects, from a transdisciplinary vision adds knowledge to the phenomenon already reviewed by the social sciences, focusing from the lens of the anthropic of architecture, with its different emphases and nuances that can be observed from this perspective.El tema del patrimonio industrial en Aguascalientes se vuelve de lo más relevante e icónico (debido a lo logrado en la conservación y reutilización de este lugar) para los estudiosos del tema en general, lo cual ha llevado a que esta línea de investigación sea trabajada por investigadores de la Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes como parte de la contribución que enriquece el conocimiento del patrimonio de la ciudad. Por este motivo, nos proponemos analizar los imaginarios culturales de cómo se observaban en la época los lugares industriales por parte de la prensa, dado que esta es una representación de los actores de ese tiempo, en busca de hacer aportes al conocimiento de la memoria cultural de la ciudad de Aguascalientes sobre este aspecto particular de la historia de las actividades económicas.Más allá de parecer una investigación en ciencias sociales hecha por personas ajenas al campo, y que por ello carezca de validez al ser dirigida por arquitectos, desde una visión transdisciplinar sume conocimiento al fenómeno ya revisado por las ciencias sociales, enfocando desde el lente de lo antrópico de la arquitectura, con sus diferentes énfasis y matices que se pueden observar desde esta perspectiva

The exchange of goods is not conceived only at a regional or local level, since now borders are not seen as barriers to entry or exit, on the contrary, they are a fundamental part of global trade and are part of this complex commercialization process. To briefly address the implications and viewpoints of the different authors of the chapters that make up this book, I will mention some of the intrinsic and extrinsic aspects involved in the management of the company\u27s SC, with their respective impacts on the achievement of its objectives.Los capítulos que integran este libro abordan, de maneras distintas, las implicaciones de la Cadena de Suministro (CS), la cual incide en la generación de valor en una empresa u organización. Desde un punto de vista simplista, se podría entender la CS como la serie de pasos o actividades que intervienen en hacer llegar al cliente un bien o un servicio; sin embargo, las diferentes perspectivas de estudio de la CS que se abordan en este libro, contribuyen al entendimiento de la importancia de su integración para el logro de resultados positivos en el sector empresarial.No se concibe el intercambio de mercancías sólo a nivel regional o local, pues ahora las fronteras no se visualizan como barreras de entrada o salida, por el contrario, son parte fundamental del comercio global y forman parte de este proceso complejo de comercialización. No full textIn the realm of academic debate, the fundamental challenge in studying habitat and the city lies in the fact that the intentions, trends, and theories related to both concepts refer us to various disciplinary fields. Moreover, they are polysemic concepts, meaning they have multiple meanings, and therefore, they are difficult to define precisely and generally as scientific categories.
Regarding the concept of the built habitat, its approach shifts to problems of an anthropological, sociological, and cultural nature, including the discussion of physical and symbolic places. The concept of habitat is used by biologists and ecologists with one meaning, while architects, urban planners, and other related disciplines use it from an anthropocentric perspective.En el campo del debate académico, el problema fundamental en el estudio del hábitat y la ciudad estriba en que la intención, las tendencias y teorías sobre ambos conceptos nos remiten a diversos campos disciplinares. Además, son conceptos polisémicos y, por tanto, difíciles de definir como categorías científicas generales y precisas.
Respecto al concepto del hábitat construido, su abordaje se traslada a problemáticas de índole antropológica, sociológica y cultural, que incluyen la discusión sobre el tema de los lugares físicos y simbólicos.
