La participación de los niños, alternativa de creación para guiones televisivos infantiles/ Children’s participation, an alternative for the creation of children’s television scripts
No full text Incluir la participación infantil en la confección de los guiones televisivos es una alternativa de creación artística. Se hace consciente una identidad comunitaria y desde ella se forma a las nuevas generaciones en esos valores que se registran en el producto audiovisual, partiendo de una construcción colectiva que tiene su basamento desde la escritura. Esa relación de simetría convierte a los niños en colaboradores constantes de las producciones televisivas, con énfasis en la escritura de temas sociales, educativos y culturales que resalten el rescate de costumbres, tradiciones y la identidad local. Desde esa concepción se canalizan inquietudes, aspiraciones, se forman valores que deben producir resultados positivos a mediano y largo plazo de acuerdo con la profundidad con que se realizó el acercamiento de la obra televisiva a las problemáticas y a los elementos identitarios de la comunidad. Including children’s participation in the preparation of television scripts is an alternative for artistic creation. A community identity is assimilated and from it the new generations are trained in those values that are registered in the audiovisual presentations, starting from a collective construction that has its foundation in writing. This symmetrical relationship turns children into constant collaborators in television productions, with an emphasis on writing social, educational and cultural themes that highlight the preservation of customs, traditions and local identity. Through this conception, concerns and aspirations are channeled, values are formed that should produce positive results in the medium and long term, in accordance with the depth with which the television work was approached to the problems and identity elements of the community

No full text El joven universitario desde su función docente metodológica tiene el encargo de crear y aplicar procedimientos y medios para desarrollar el caudal léxico. Una vía para extender dicho accionar es precisamente mediante la autoría de la palabra porque esta ofrece la oportunidad de satisfacer las necesidades, intereses y motivaciones de un grupo de escolares en particular. Este artículo expresa las características de un folleto que es producto de la autoría de la palabra de una joven universitaria de formación pedagógica. El folleto es un aporte cultural y lingüístico porque a través de la autoría de la palabra se expresan temáticas relacionadas con las relaciones de convivencia social, la educación ambiental, el respeto a la diversidad, la defensa de la identidad. En él se aporta un proceder didáctico para el análisis, comprensión y construcción de significados. The university student, from his or her methodological and teaching function, is in charge of creating and applying procedures and means to develop the lexical flow. One way to extend this action is through the authorship of the word, because it offers the opportunity to satisfy the needs, interests and motivations of a particular group of students. This paper specifies the characteristics of a brochure that is the product of the authorship of the word of a young university student of pedagogical training. The brochure is a cultural and linguistic contribution because the authorship of the word expresses themes related to relations of social coexistence, environmental education, respect for diversity, and defense of identity. It provides a didactic procedure for the analysis, understanding and construction of meanings. No full text El presente trabajo rescata los elementos más significativos que al cabo de treinta años sobreviven en la memoria de un musicólogo y profesor universitario ecuatoriano, que visitó Cuba en 1990 por motivos culturales oficiales; cuyo paso por La Habana y Santa Clara le permitió conformar todo un imaginario articulado por la clave de la fascinación. Es un tributo del autor al número especial que la revista Islas dedica a la cultura de Ecuador; y posee notable interés antropológico. The present work rescues the most significant elements that after thirty years survive in the memory of an Ecuadorian musicologist and university professor, who visited Cuba in 1990 for official cultural reasons; whose passage through Havana and Santa Clara allowed him to form an entire imaginary articulated by the key to fascination. It is a tribute of the author to the special issue that the magazine Islas dedicates to the culture of Ecuador; and has remarkable anthropological interest

No full textMediante un profundo proceso de análisis y síntesis de informes, investigaciones y publicaciones se demuestran los cambios en los hábitos de consumo de noticias por la población mundial, que ahora prefiere informarse a través de los dispositivos móviles. Ello representa un cambio en los modelos de comunicación actuales, donde los medios de comunicación tradicionales no son los únicos con la posibilidad de producir noticias e informaciones, sino también los propios receptores. Existen dos características fundamentales que están marcando hoy la forma de consumir información entre los jóvenes: lo social y lo móvil. Los antiguos receptores se han convertido en prosumer; es decir, productores y consumidores de información a través de los móviles. Through an in-depth process of analysis and synthesis of reports, research and publications, changes in the news consumption habits of the world’s population, which now prefers to be informed through mobile devices, are demonstrated. This represents a change in current communication models, where traditional media are not the only ones with the possibility of producing news and information, but also the recipients themselves. There are two fundamental characteristics that are now marking the way young people consume information: the social and the mobile. The former receivers have become prosumers; that is, producers and consumers of information through mobile phones.
De la Lingüística cognitiva a la concepción de las Autorías de la palabra y el pensamiento/ From cognitive linguistics to the conception of the authorship of word and thought
No full text Varias son las teorías que estudian y describen el funcionamiento diverso de la lengua, el comportamiento variable de la apropiación que, del sistema, hace el hombre. Desde finales del siglo XX se defiende que la organización conceptual del universo, la representación de la realidad se construye mediante las percepciones que se acumulan a través de la experiencia. Dentro de esta tendencia de hacer Lingüística, se concibe en el espacio latinoamericano la teoría de las autorías de la palabra y el pensamiento. Este artículo se propone esclarecer los presupuestos teóricos de dichos estudios argumentando sus bases en la Lingüística y la Sociolingüística de base cognitiva. Ofrece, además, reflexiones encaminadas a explicar la naturaleza de las investigaciones aplicadas de las autorías a fin de constituir antesala de los artículos que le suceden en este número de la revista Islas.Several theories study and describe the diverse functioning of the language and the variable behavior of the appropriation that man makes of the system. Since the end of the twentieth century it has been argued that the conceptual organization of the universe, the representation of reality is constructed through perceptions that accumulate through experience. Within this tendency of Linguistics, the theory of authorship of word and thought is conceived in Latin America. This article aims to clarify the theoretical assumptions of these studies by means of stating their bases in Linguistics and cognitive-based Sociolinguistics. It also offers ideas aimed at explaining the intention of authorship-applied research in order to constitute a prelude to the articles that follow in this issue of Islas magazine

La gran empresa intelectual de Rojas explora las posibilidades deimplosión del canon hegemónico y propone unas Estéticas Caníbales quepromuevan la exploración de otras formas simbólicas que sean, además,formas de resistencia a la dominación planetaria del capital.This work analyzes the substantive contributions of Carlos RojasReyes’s Estéticas Caníbales, published in three volumes, where the authorconstructs a highly complex object of study and a proposal to overcomethe hegemonic artistic canon, by means of a suggestive and ambitiousworking hypothesis. He wonders how to overcome the postmodern canonthat is exhausted, not so much by historical circumstances, but by itsimpossibility to express and represent the complexity of this era. No full textFruto de la investigación-creación, en el presente trabajo seabordan producciones de «nuevas artesanías» a partir de miradasexploratorias actuales (estéticas, tecnológicas y funcionales) a objetos históricosque habitan en la memoria común ecuatoriana, muchos de ellospiezas de museos, y que pueden ser motivo para la gestación de nuevosobjetos, perfectamente funcionales, producidos desde «miradas posteriores» y cargados de capacidad evocadora. Pocas instituciones luchan pormantener un nivel adecuado en sus diversas fases; y a pesar del esfuerzorealizado, el impacto en los temas de diseño, innovación, costos, tecnologíay promoción es aún deficiente. Sin embargo, existen estupendos artesanosy diseñadores capaces de dar un giro positivo a esta realidad.As a result of research-creation, the present work deals with theproduction of «new crafts» from current exploratory views (aesthetic,technological and functional) to historical objects that inhabit theEcuadorian common memory, many of them museum pieces, that can bea reason for the conception of new objects, perfectly functional, producedfrom «later looks» and full of evocative capacity. Few institutions struggleto maintain an adequate level in its various phases; and despite the effortsmade, the impact on the design themes, innovation, costs, technology andpromotion is still poor.
