    The Use of Gamification for Pre-Recruitment System in Tax Consulting Company

    The increasing need for employees who are experts in the IT field, or commonly referred to as digital talent, is a new challenge for the human resources department in the era of digital transformation. The results of interviews and observations conducted at a tax consulting company show that the HR department does not have a definite procedure for measuring the technical capabilities of IT candidates. Because technology is always changing and evolving, it is difficult to locate someone who is already conversant with the most current technologies and techniques. Assessing a candidate's genuine potential is more difficult than merely reading it on a CV or asking, "can you accomplish this?" or "do you have this trait?" Previous research indicates that the majority of candidates lie about themselves on their resumes and hiring managers just don't care. Having a qualified digital talent is critical while the tax company undergoes digital transformation. With Gen Z and millennials as recruitment targets, this study proposes a solution by designing a gamification using the MDE framework. Gamification has been shown to be effective in attracting and assessing fresh talent throughout the recruiting process. The purpose of this study is to investigate how gamification might attract skilled IT applicants while avoiding errors in judging their genuine potential

    Development of User Interface/User Experience using Design Thinking Approach for GMS Service Company

    Information systems have an important role for firms to increase productivity. A service company located in Bontang, East Kalimantan, Indonesia (GMS), is engaged in scaffolding installation services and scaffolding rentals. The company has steadily experienced annual increase in the number of customers over the years. However, due to the still in manual-way of managing the scaffolding material, the increase of workload has also led to the increasing number of material handling human error cases and inefficient service processing time. As a company that provides B2B services, the management (user) then needs a website-based system for scaffolding material management that is tailored to their service operations and suits their special needs to support their operation. Thus, this study analyzes the suitable user interface/user experience using the Design Thinking method, which consists of 5 steps, namely Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype and Test. It serves as the initial phase of information system building to make sure that the design of the website based information system will suit the needs of their management. After conducting empathize stage using interview techniques and questionnaires and also conducting the define stage to gain insights on the required needs, it was known that the website system needed particular features, namely the availability of customer data, material data, user data, work partner data, transaction reports, invoices, integration with whatsapp and email, as well as a dashboard to visualize data such as the amount of material rented, available materials, and transaction history. In the prototype development stage, online UI/UX design tools are used. Using the prototype, the testing stage was then carried out, using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. As a result, a value of 80.86 was obtained, meaning that the system created has good usability and can be used on an ongoing basis

    Examining the Determinants of Continuance Intention to Use Mobile Payment Service

    Innovation in finance and advances in payment sytems are very important to boost remittances and encourage the successful development of electronic businesses around the world. Thus, many leading companies use mobile payment services to improve the customer experience of their customers. This study aims to identify the factors that influence consumers to continue using mobile payment in Indonesia. Several influencing factors include Service Quality, Perceived Ease of Use, Security, Perceived Usefulness, and Trust. This research was conducted in Madiun City, one of the big cities in Indonesia, with a total of 176 respondents. The study results can help mobile payment companies understand factors that are relevant to increasing volume usage in the context of merchants. The findings of this research is Continuance Intention influenced by Trust. Trust is significantly influenced by the independent variables such as Service Quality, Perceived Ease of Use, Security, and Perceived Usefulness. However, perceived risk has no significant effect on continuance intention. Therefore, mobile Payment service providers should be able to implement action plans related to the quality of their services, user experience to customers, security of an application, and the functions and features implemented by a Mobile Payment. Hopefully those things will generate trust in customers to continue to use Mobile Payment services

    Analysis of School Grouping Against Educational Teachers in NTB Using K-Prototypes Method

    The shortage of teaching staff is still a problem in education in Indonesia, resulting in the number of teachers and students being unbalanced. It is very significant based on data from the Analysis of the Distribution of Teachers in Region 3T, which shows that the national ratio of teachers per school is 18.41, and many still have a ratio of teachers per school lower than the national. Therefore, it is necessary to group the data in one of the 3T regions, especially in the Province of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). The data used for this study were 4997 schools from 8 districts and two cities. The results of this study were conducted to determine whether the grouping ratio of the number of teachers and students is ideal or not ideal. The data used are categorical and numeric data types, so the clustering analysis method used is K-Prototypes. Each cluster produces a different range of teachers and students. Cluster 1, which obtained the High category almost followed the ideal, while Cluster 2 and the Cluster 3 were still far from ideal. This needs to be considered to increase the number of teaching staff in the Education Office in each district

    Implementation of Fuzzy C-Means and Topsis in College Rankings

    Prior to now, the ranking of higher education institutions, particularly those at the Regional II Palembang Higher Education Service Institution, was based on one component of the work unit's criteria. This makes the university ranking results superior on one criterion but inferior on another. The number of instructors and the number of students at 100 universities in the South Sumatra region were split into two groups based on the outcome of the fuzzy c means algorithm grouping and regional criteria and calculated based on the resulting mean value. The grouping results using a topsis algorithm decision-making system with a weight determined by the number of lecturers with functional positions, college accreditation, number of certified lecturers, and percentage level of higher education database reports are used as a reference to rank universities. Based on the mean value of the fuzzy c means algorithm and the grouping results, seven colleges were chosen. Using the topsis method's way of making decisions, the final score for the highest-ranked college is 0.850

    Information Systems Strategic Planning is one of the determining aspects for companies in achieving goals in this digital era. One type of business that requires Information System Strategic Planning is businesses that interact directly with customers or customers related to improving services.  Talenta Savings Cooperative (KSU) is one type of business that needs it, this is because information technology can improve the quality and quality of services provided to customers so that the company is ready to compete in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0.  Most of the service processes at KSU Talenta are still using manual techniques.  This research is qualitatively descriptive where data collection uses observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. While the method of discussing strategic planning of information systems using IT Balanced Scorecard, by conducting assessments on 4 (four) perspectives, namely, user orientation perspective, company contribution, operational improvement, and future orientation. To clarify the comparison between real conditions in the company and the ideal condition of information systems, the author also describes it using the Gap Analysis method.  The result achieved is the availability of information system application series suggestions at each level of management. This strategic planning is also expected to be able to answer every need of the company in achieving existing goals

    Functionality Performance of Information Systems in Higher Education Institutions

    The goal of this research was to evaluate the performance of information systems in terms of functionality of the in-house developed and outsourced information systems of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Samar, Philippines. A descriptive research design was used in order to obtain information on the performance of the information systems in terms of functionality. The technique employed for data collection was physical evaluation using an observation sheet.  A total of thirteen (13) information systems were subjected to performance evaluation as there were thirteen HEIs from the different provinces of Samar Island that participated in the study. The overall results showed that the outsourced systems had better performance in terms of functionality since most of the indicators were completely existing and functional. On the other hand, the in-house systems have performed fairly with regards to the required features and functionalities of the system. The results of the study suggest that HEIs should acquire information systems that are completely functional, regardless of what acquisition method is adopted. Having information systems equipped with the required functionality features, the administrative and academic functions of HEIs are effectively and efficiently delivered

    An Implementation and Evaluation of Web-Based Appointment System for the Mindanao State University – Main Campus

    The Office of the University President of the Mindanao State University in Marawi City has the reputation of being one of the busiest in the university. It handles a variety of concerns, ranging from employee matters to matters of concern coming from the other campuses in the university system. However, matters became greatly complicated when the pandemic began and the hard lockdowns that followed forced everyone to stay at home or work remotely. It was observed that an existing perennial problem at the Office of the President was a lack of an efficient system to handle appointments, which resulted in wasted time and tasks delayed or undone. Hence, the aim of the project was to improve client waiting time by implementing a web-based appointment system. The researcher used two (2) models: the System Usability Scale and Technology Acceptance Model to evaluate the system. As a result, the system has a high level of satisfaction with a percentage of 90.2 from the user based on the overall result from two (2) models used. Therefore, implementing a web-based appointment system will certainly improve client waiting time at the Office of the President and employees at the office can schedule appointments more conveniently

    Promotion is one way to achieve sales targets, private universities are also inseparable from the need for promotions to increase the number of student admissions so it is necessary to carry out various strategies to achieve the targets that have been set so that the promotions carried out by Trilogy University are right on target, a target analysis is needed. In this study, the TOPSIS method was used to rank schools that would be the target of promotion in the hope that promotional activities would be right on target and could increase the income of the number of new students. The results showed that the TOPSIS method was able to rank the target schools to be visited, from the ranking results showed that the number of applicants, the distance from school to university and the status of the school in collaboration with the education office had no significant effect on the ranking results

    Management Information System Success Rate on Pusri Palembang Hospital Using HOT-FIT Models

    Pusri Palembang Hospital is a public hospital that has implemented a Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) since 2012. SIMRS supports all health care business processes and administrative procedures to obtain information quickly, precisely, and accurately. During the implementation of SIMRS, some obstacles often occur in its use, such as user complaints regarding the operational functions of the system so that it has not run optimally. This study aims to evaluate the success of implementing SIMRS at the Pusri Hospital in Palembang and determine the effect between variables. This study uses the HOT-Fit model variable consisting of human components (system use and user satisfaction), organization (organizational structure and environment), technology (system quality, information quality, service quality), and benefits. This study uses a survey research type with qualitative methods. Based on the analytical approach, this research is classified into quantitative research. It was preceded by quantitative research with 165 respondents and followed by qualitative research by interviewing six informants. The data analysis technique used is PLS-SEM with SmartPLS tools. The results showed that on the technology component: the quality of the system (73.0%) was good, the quality of information (74.2%) of the data produced was accurate, quality, and relevant, and the quality of service (75.5%) was good. The human component: the use of the system (74.2%) is good because the officers receive the system well, and user satisfaction (75.6%) is satisfied using SIMRS. Organizational Components: organizational structure (78.0%) and organizational environment (73.6%) are suitable. In terms of benefits (76.1%), it has helped increase efficiency and effectiveness in work. Based on the results of hypothesis testing in path analysis, it is known that there are eight relationships between variables that have a significant effect and four relationships that do not have a significant effect. The most significant influence is the influence of the organizational structure on the organizational environment. At the same time, the lowest level of correlation is the relationship between the quality of information and the use of the system. The overall success rate of SIMRS implementation is 76.1%. The research results show that the existence of the system helps users support their work and the successful use of the system from the user's perception at this time is at a successful level
