Analysis of Salesperson Behavior on Using Retailer App (Case Study: Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison)
The evolution of information technology affects many organizations in Indonesia, especially telco companies. Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison or more commonly known as PT Indosat, Tbk. or Indosat, a telco company in Indonesia has implemented a mobile application called Simpel for use by the salespeople to sell products. Currently, the app has been used by 60% of the users for less than 10 transactions in a month which resulted in only 9% of total revenue generated by the retailer app. This occurrence gave a challenge for Indosat to manage and increase the transaction count in the aforesaid app. This study aimed to analyze the factors influencing a salesperson’s decision to more frequently use Simpel to sell products. Every telco company can learn from this research to enhance app features better. The analysis is based on human behavior in information systems environment. The combination of UTAUT and other variables was used in this study. The total sample was obtained from 467 respondents who registered and used the app. Analysis were conducted using the structural equation models to learn the impact that performance expectancies, effort expectancies, social influence, facilitation conditions, and quality of sales applications have towards behavioral intention to use mobile app; and to learn the impact of behavioral intention, social influence, and facilitating conditions towards improving the sales app usage behavior
Sentiment Analysis of Customer Feedback Reviews Towards Hotel’s Products and Services in Labuan Bajo
The feedback review column on the TripAdvisor website can process the sentiment analysis by classifying the positive and negative impressions of the consumer using machine learning, namely text mining. This study analyzes consumer sentiment for hotel products and services in Labuan Bajo based on feedback review data on the TripAdvisor website. Meanwhile, the algorithm used is Nave Bayes Classifier (NBC), Support Vector Machine (SVM), also SMOTE Upsampling for the k-Nearest Neighbor (k-NN) algorithm. The classification result shows 702 negative feedback reviews and 2531 positive feedback reviews. The evaluation of algorithm performance shows the accuracy of SVM is 78,30% and NBC is 78,29% compared with k-NN with 85,24% accuracy, using SMOTE Upsampling with a class precision description of 100% prediction negative (1784 true Neg & 0 true Pos) and 77,21% prediction positive (747 true Neg & 2531 true Pos). The class recall description also shows 70,49% true Negative (1784 pred Neg & 747 pred Pos) and 100% true Positive (0 pred Neg & 2531 pred Pos). These findings indicate that the k-NN algorithm shows the best result instead of the SVM and NBC algorithm, according to the sentiment analysis result of customer feedback reviews on hotel products and services in Labuan Bajo through TripAdvisor website
Edutech Digital Start-Up Customer Profiling Based on RFM Data Model Using K-Means Clustering
Digital start-up is companies with a high risk because they are still looking for the most fitting business model and the right market. The company's growth is the primary goal of the start-up. As a newly established company, digital start-ups have one challenge, it is the ineffectiveness of the marketing process and strategic schemes in terms of maintaining customer loyalty, the same goes for edutech digital start-ups. Ineffective and inefficient plans can waste resources. Hence, a method is needed to find out the optimal solution to understanding the customer characteristic. Business Intelligence is needed, with the customer profiling process using transaction data based on the RFM (Retency, Frequency, Monetary) model using the K-Means algorithm. In this study, the transaction data comes from an education platform digital start-up assisted by the STIKOM Bali business incubator. Based on three metrics, namely the Elbow Method, Silhouette Scores, and Davis Bouldin Index, transaction data for sales retency, sales frequency, and sales monetary can be analyzed and can find the optimal solution. Analysis and Design of Regional Tourism Information System “SIPARDA” of Morotai Island Regency
The analysis and design of the regional tourism information system known as SIPARDA is a follow-up to the results of the strategic planning of the information system to optimize the performance of the bureaucracy, especially the Tourism Office of Morotai Island Regency, related to the main tasks and functions of the destination and tourism industry, tourism marketing, and creative economy. SIPARDA's design was carried out using the concept of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) through a waterfall approach. The application design method begins with identifying user needs and designing a tourism information system relevant to the main tasks and functions of the Tourism Office in the Morotai Island Regency. Unified Modeling Language (UML) is used to describe the business processes of SIPARDA. Five primary actors can operationalize the system: the head of the tourism officer, tourism industry and destination department, tourism marketing department, creative economy department, and administrator. Thus, each department can document attractions, amenities, accessibility, and accommodation data in the Morotai Island Regency as a regional tourism development decision-making database

Toko Mega Komputama Salatiga merupakan sebuah usaha yang bergerak di bidang penjualan yang menyediakan berbagai produk IT dan toko tersebut telah mengimplementasikan pengggunaan SI/TI dalam menunjang aktivitas bisnis yang dijalankan. Toko Mega Komputama menggunakan website “megakomputama.com” untuk menunjang penjualan dan pemasaran produk, etalase produk dan berinteraksi dengan pelanggan. Namun, dalam dunia manajemen pasti selalu ada kemungkinan risiko yang dapat terjadi dan dapat mengganggu aktivitas bisnis pengguna sistem tersebut. Oleh karena itu, analisis risiko teknologi informasi pada website toko Mega Komputama sangat diperlukan. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan framework ISO 31000:2018 dengan harapan mampu mengidentifikasi dan meminimalisir risiko yang mungkin terjadi pada website Mega Komputama
Analysis of Computer Network Performance on Communication and Informatics Office of West Sumbawa Regency Using Quality of Service Method
This study aims to determine and analyze network performance with quality of service parameters in realizing good and optimal network performance quality so that it can be adjusted between the efficiency of network needs and the effectiveness of user access at the Communication and Informatics Office of West Sumbawa Regency. The process of accumulating data is obtained by measuring the quality of service parameters using the quality of service method and measuring bandwidth load distribution with the load set at 30 Mbps. The quality of service method on the network, the influence between the variables of network performance quality on the internet connection, and the bandwidth capacity of each user are known. The study results from the quality of service analysis at the Communication and Informatics Service of West Sumbawa Regency entered the excellent category with an average throughput value ranging from 10,320-1,026,454 kbps from the fourth index being in the excellent category. The average packet loss value of 0-1.5% of the third index is in a good category, with the highest value occurring on the fifth day, 1.5%. The average delay value ranges from 7-150 ms, with the highest delay value occurring on the first day due to the user's distance from the remote network access source and queues in dense packet transmission. The average jitter value of 1-12 ms from the third index is in a good category, and the maximum result of the bandwidth value set in size is 9,092,407 bp
Analysis of Information Technology Governance Using COBIT 2019 Framework (Case study: PT. Bangkit Anugerah Bersama)
PT. Bangkit Anugerah Bersama is a pharmaceutical company that focuses on distributing medical devices to various pharmacies in major cities in Indonesia, in carrying out its business processes PT Bangkit Anugerah Bersama has implemented information technology and continues to grow to create innovations. innovation in utilizing technology, in this case, it is necessary to design IT governance at PT Bangkit Anugerah Bersama, so this research was made which aims to design IT governance using COBIT 2019 so that business processes and IT implementation can run in harmony. The method used in this research is descriptive by conducting interviews with IT staff at PT Bangkit Anugerah Bersama. The analysis of the design of information technology governance in this study uses a design toolkit that includes 10 design factors from COBIT 2019. Based on the research conducted, it produces a design of information technology governance with a total of 4 domains that are important for the company, this is taken from sub-sections that have value ≥ 50 of them are BAI06, BAI03, BAI11 and BAI02
Tourism Application Information System Security Audit Using Cobit 5 Framework on Palembang City
Information technology is important in organizations so that the goals and expectations of the objectives of implementing IT can be achieved. The tourism office of the city of Palembang is an institution that has used information technology to help the continuity of their work. The tourism office of the city of Palembang has not conducted an audit of improving the security of the existing information system. Therefore, to avoid events that do not require an information security system audit. Cobit 5 framework that can be used as a reference for information system governance to achieve the expected goals. This study only discusses the security management process which includes the DSS05 (Delivery, service, and security) domain by collecting data using a questionnaire. The value of the level of security improvement to be achieved in the security system should reach level 5 and can provide recommendations that will be followed up by the institution to make improvements in the future
Optimizing JMeter on Performance Testing Using the Bulk Data Method
Company X is one of the companies engaged in the telecommunications business. To improve customer service, the company developed an Application Programming Interface). The developed API is used to promote product packages to customers. Sending data via API to millions of customers at the same time, can lead to failures due to the inability of the server to process that data. JMeter is one of the tools that can be used to perform performance testing of an API by providing TPS calculation output. Bulk data files are used as input to process large amounts of customer data on JMeter. Proper thread properties settings affect the TPS value, and the study has managed to achieve the TPS value to be achieved with error rate = 0, which means success
Development of Website-Based Thousand Island Tour Package Booking Application Using Waterfall Method
PT. Khatulistiwa Global Wisata is a company engaged in tourism and offers a Tour and Travel service called Explore Thousand Islands. Currently, the process of booking Pulau Seribu tour packages at Explore Seribu Pulau Tour and Travel is still done manually, causing visitor data, bookings, payments, and visitor reviews to not be recorded properly. This website-based thousand island tour package online booking application is designed using the Waterfall method, CodeIgniter as a framework, PHP for designing the web, and MySQL as a database storage. Research has been conducted to overcome problems by creating features such as tour package list features, tour package bookings, tour package payments, manage payments, approve payments, manage assignment trips, complete trip assignments, and give trip reviews. The features developed make it easier for visitors to find information on tour packages, book, pay, and review tour trips that have been carried out. In addition, the existence of the report feature can improve performance and make it easier for tourism agents to record reports from booking thousand island tour packages through the website
