No full textPrenant au sérieux l’invitation faite en 2001 par Yves Jeanneret à résister aux « discours d’accompagnement des NTIC », le manuscrit original se présente comme une mise à l’épreuve des relations entre idéologie de la communication et pratiques communicationnelles des chercheur.es. Que fait l’idéologie qui escorte les médias informatisés à la posture de recherche en SIC et à la fabrication des savoirs à leur sujet ? Quelles participations des chercheur.es aux discours d’escorte dans le contexte de transformations de l’ESR ?La démarche adoptée procède d’une part par un regard attentif aux formules, formats et figures qui circulent à propos des médias informatisés dans les supports ordinaires de la recherche (affiches, appels à communication et à projets, programmes de colloque, etc.). D’autre part, elle procède par une approche sensible aux figurations de la recherche qui se donnent à voir dans les écrits d’écran (capsules vidéos, CV Hal, tableurs, etc.). Le constat effectué est que les chercheur.es en sciences de l’information et de la communication font usage dans leur production écrite majoritairement non-académique d’arguments, motifs et expressions similaires à ceux promus par les industries du numérique. Ils et elles sont embarqué.es dans des registres discursifs qui avalisent une certaine conception des médias informatisés et de leurs effets, une conception pourtant contraire à leur propre position et aux travaux fondateurs de la discipline. Ce manuscrit met ainsi progressivement au jour les tensions constantes et croissantes auxquelles les SIC sont confrontées entre l’imposition d’un regard sur des objets concrets et le maintien d’une posture critique dans un contexte de transformations des politiques de l’ESR et d’injonctions (à l’opérationnalité, à l’interdisciplinarité, à la programmation) qui cadrent les pratiques de recherche. Dans un contexte de management de la recherche par projets, d’encouragement à la recherche commanditée et à la promotion des médias informatisés, comment maintenir une posture critique sur les médias informatisés ? Comment garder de la distance face aux tournants communicationnels et gestionnaires des institutions de savoirs ?L’enjeu est alors d’identifier des tactiques permettant de résister aux injonctions ambiantes au sein de l’ESR. Grâce à une trajectoire de recherche (de l’analyse de discours à la théorie des écrits d’écran vers la muséologie) et par l’analyse d’expériences de recherche collectives, le manuscrit retrace l’élaboration progressive d’une stratégie de transformation de la focale. Cette dernière est envisagée comme une modalité de résistance, à même de tenir compte du pouvoir des représentations et doxa visuelles autour des médias informatisés. Mais surtout elle invite les SIC à investiguer à nouveaux frais, la réflexivité des chercheur.es sur leurs pratiques communicationnelles ordinaires de la recherche

TuniFra: A Tunisian Arabic Speech Corpus with Orthographic Transcriptions and French Translations
No full textInternational audienceWe introduce TUNIFRA, a novel and comprehensive corpus developed to advance research in Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and Speech-to-Text Translation (STT) for Tunisian Arabic, a notably low-resourced language variety. The TUNIFRA corpus comprises 15 hours of native Tunisian Arabic speech, carefully transcribed and manually translated into French. While the development of ASR and STT systems for major languages is supported by extensive datasets, low-resource languages such as Tunisian Arabic face significant challenges due to limited training data, particularly for speech technologies. TUNIFRA addresses this gap by offering a valuable resource tailored for both ASR and STT tasks in the Tunisian dialect. We describe our methodology for data collection, transcription, and annotation, and present initial baseline results for both Tunisian Arabic speech recognition and Tunisian Arabic-French speech translation.</div
Open science in action. Un dialogo su scienza aperta, infrastrutture e pratiche della ricerca
No full textInternational audienceThis text offers an original perspective on open science, examining it not as an abstract set of principles but through its concrete functioning and through the impact that infrastructures, data, and openness policies have on scientific practices. Through a dialogue with Simon Dumas Primbault, historian of science and researcher at the CNRS, this article seeks to reconstruct the genealogy of concepts now taken for granted, while also analysing specific cases such as OpenEdition to show how open science is a field marked by tensions between declared principles (open access, transparency, participation) and material conditions (precarity, technical rationalization, top-down governance). The text proposes a novel approach: studying open science “in action,” following Bruno Latour’s motto, highlighting forms of adaptation, resistance, and negotiation that continually reshape the meaning of research and knowledge.Questo testo offre uno sguardo inedito sulla scienza aperta, osservandola non come insieme astratto di principi ma nel suo funzionamento concreto e per l’impatto che infrastrutture, dati, politiche di apertura hanno sulle pratiche scientifiche. Attraverso un dialogo con Simon Dumas Primbault, storico della scienza e ricercatore presso il CNRS, si cerca di ricostruire la genealogia di alcuni concetti oggi invalsi, ma anche di analizzare casi specifici come OpenEdition, per vedere come la scienza aperta sia un campo attraversato da tensioni, tra principi dichiarati (accesso libero, trasparenza, partecipazione) e condizioni materiali (precarietà lavorativa, razionalizzazione tecnica, governance top-down). Il testo propone una prospettiva originale: studiare la scienza aperta “in azione”, secondo il motto di Bruno Latour, mettendo in luce forme di adattamento, resistenza e negoziazione che ridefiniscono continuamente il enso della ricerca e della conoscenza
Advances of Remote Sensing in Land Cover and Land Use Mapping
No full textThis Special Issue of Remote Sensing focuses on the latest advances in mapping LULC. This Issue intends to provide an overview of the progress made in the methodologies of mapping LULC applications, approaches, and methods. Due to climate variability, territorial dynamics, and societal changes, efficient planning strategies cannot be developed without considering processes related to land cover and land use changes. This requires solutions that support the observation, mapping, monitoring, analysis, and modelling of land-related activities. Remote sensing applications for exploring land covers and land uses have experienced notable progress with the development of current approaches, especially advances in artificial intelligence, the proliferation of remote sensing sensors, and the availability of space and airborne data with ancillary databases and massive geodata processing. The aim of this Special Issue related to the mapping of land covers and land uses by remote sensing is to review the latest methods and to increase the methodological soundness: that is, the consistency, comparability, accuracy, and transparency of assessing, monitoring, and predicting land uses, land covers and their changes using spatial analysis, artificial intelligence, and remote sensing techniques. New advances in the spatial modelling of territorial patterns and their dynamics and evolutions by remote sensing introduce new conceptual questions related to the actual environmental and territorial processes: the mapping of multi-scalar dynamics and different land use and land cover temporalities and changes
Évaluer l’employabilité dans l’insertion par l’activité économique française : une analyse économétrique appliquée à une entreprise sociale d’insertion par le travail
No full textInternational audienceAmong public employment policies, Work Integration Social Companies (WISCs) are recognized as a professional sector that promotes socio-professional inclusion. Public funding for social companies promoting integration through work is governed by contractual obligations tied to the achievement of employment and training outcomes. In this context, this article explores the feasibility of assessing the employability of workers within social enterprises for integration through work (WISC), along with the methodologies used for such evaluations. First, the concept of employability in the specific setting of integration through economic activity is examined. Then, this study provides an original contribution to the econometric measurement of the effects of socio-professional support on the employability of individuals employed in integration programs run by associations in France. The main findings reveal that identifying, addressing, and resolving social issues significantly enhances the likelihood of professional integration, particularly in cases involving housing instability or difficulties related to social and family life.Dans le cadre des politiques publiques de l’emploi, l’Insertion par l’activité économique est considérée comme un secteur professionnel contribuant à l’inclusion socioprofessionnelle. Les financements publics des Entreprises sociales d’insertion par le travail (ESIT) sont assujettis à des obligations contractuelles liées à l’obtention de résultats en emplois-formations. Dans ce contexte, cet article questionne la possibilité d’évaluer l’employabilité des ESIT et les modalités de l’évaluation. Nous nous intéressons tout d’abord à la signification que peut revêtir l’employabilité dans l’Insertion par l’activité économique. Ensuite, l’objectif de cette étude est de proposer une contribution originale permettant de mesurer économétriquement les effets de l’accompagnement socioprofessionnel sur l’employabilité des salariés en insertion dans une association porteuse de chantiers d’insertion en France. Les principaux résultats montrent que l’identification, le traitement et la résolution des problématiques sociales augmentent significativement les chances d’insertion professionnelle, en particulier lorsqu’il s’agit de difficultés liées au logement ou à la vie sociale et familiale
