    FORMULASI DAN UJI STABILITAS KRIM DARI MINYAK SAWIT MERAH (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq) SEBAGAI PELEMBAB WAJAH

    Minyak kelapa sawit merupakan salah satu minyak nabati yang baik digunakan untuk produk makanan maupun bukan makanan. Minyak kelapa sawit mengandung nilai nutrisi tinggi yang berasal dari komponen mayor seperti asam lemak jenuh, asam lemak tidak jenuh tunggal dan asam lemak tidak jenuh ganda, bahkan komponen minor seperti karotenoid, tokoferol, tokotrienol, squalene, ubikuinon, polifenol dan vitamin K. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sediaan krim dengan menggunakan minyak sawit merah sebagai pelembab dan mengetahui kemampuan krim minyak sawit merah dalam meningkatkan kadar air dari kulit. Pada penelitian ini, krim pelembab mengandung asam stearat sebagai basis krim dan penambahan minyak sawit merah dengan konsentrasi 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, 5%, dan 6% dan blanko. Minyak sawit merah dapat diformulasikan dalam sediaan krim pelembab yang stabil. Pengujian kemampuan sediaan menggunakan alat moisture checker untuk meningkatkan kelembaban kulit memiliki kemampuan meningkatkan kelembaban kulit dengan rata-rata persentasenya yaitu F0 (Blanko): 2,87%, F1 (minyak sawit merah 1%): 3.84%, F2 (minyak sawit merah 2%): 4.24%, F3 (minyak sawit merah 3%): 4,32%, F4 (minyak sawit merah 4%): 7,34%, F5 (minyak sawit merah 5%): 9,86%. Formula yang paling tinggi meningkatkan persentase kelembaban kulit hingga 11,46% yaitu F6 (minyak sawit merah 6%), dimana semakin tinggi konsentrasi minyak sawit merah yang ditambahkan pada sediaan, maka semakin tinggi pula kemampuan meningkatkan kelembaban kulit. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah minyak sawit merah dapat diformulasikan dalan sediaan krim pelembab serta mampu meningkatkan kelembaban kulit hingga 57,80% yaitu formula F6 (minyak sawit merah 6%)

    As a married woman, childbirth is the most anticipated period. 15,000 of the approximately 4.5 million women giving birth state that there is fear and anxiety, where the level of anxiety is limited: mild anxiety, moderate anxiety, severe anxiety and panic. This study aim to find out the relationship of husbands’ support and the level of anxiety in maternity mothers at Pratama Niar Clinic in 2018. This research uses quantitative research with analytical survey research design and cross sectional approach. The populations in this study were maternity mothers as many as 30 respondents and sampling in this study using accidental sampling. The data analysis was done by using statistical Pearson Chi-square test. Based on the results of the study it can be seen that out of 30 respondents, there were 9 respondents (30.0%) did not worry, 15 respondents (50.0%) had mild anxiety levels and 6 respondents (20.0%) had moderate levels of anxiety, with statistical tests chi-square at 95% confidence level, α = 0.05 was obtained ρ = 0,000. The conclusion of the study shows that there is support from the husband with the level of anxiety in maternity mothers at Pratama Niar Clinic, Patumbak Sub District of Deli Serdang District in 2018. It is expected that the maternity clinic can provide counseling about childbirth both to the mother and to her husband, so that the husband can understand his wife's condition and can provide full support during labor

    According to Riskesdas,anemia in pregnant women is related with an increase in preterm birth, maternal and child mortality and infectious diseases. Iron deficiency anemia in the mother can affect fetal/infant growth and development during pregnancy and afterwards. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence anemia in pregnant women in the third trimester of Latong Health Center, Lubuk Barumun Sub District of Padang Lawas District in 2018. This study uses analytical survey research design with a cross sectional approach.The samples taken usea total sampling of 35 respondents all anemic pregnant women in the third trimester who received examinations in the medical record and who had a MCH book at Latong Health Center,LubukBarumunSub District of Padang Lawas District 2018 in 2018. Based on the result of research showed that from 35 respondents with p value 0,007 <0,05 in knowledge variable, p value 151 <0,05 in parity variable, p value 0,45 <0,05 on variable of pregnancy distance, p value 0,34 <0,05 on the variable compliance to consuming Fe tablets. The conclusion of this study shows that there isthe factors that influence anemia in pregnant women in third trimester atLatong Health Center in 2018. The suggestion of this study is that the research site is expected to provide more counseling to pregnant women about anemia.     Background; Pregnancy is a natural process and physiology. Every pregnant woman has possible risks associated with the condition of pregnancy and childbirth. Regular pregnancy examinations can reduce maternal morbidity and mortality during pregnancy and childbirth. According to the WHO maternal mortality ratio (MMR) it is estimated that there are 216 mothers globally. Data of RSUD. Dr. Tengku Mansyur Tanjung Balai was obtained from 2017 to June 2018 throughout the 1,149 deliveries with 1004 cesarean section and 145 mothers delivered spontaneously vaginal delivery. The purpose; of this study was to determine the relationship between ANC history of pregnant women and labor process at RSUD. Dr. Tengku Mansyur Tanjung Balai in 2018. Method; The design of this study is an analytical survey with a Cross Sectional approach. The population of this study was all mothers giving birth in August 2018 as many as 51 mothers giving birth to the total population sampling technique. Data analysis used is univariate and bivariate analysis with chi square statistical test (sig α 0.05). Result; results of the study it was known that regular visits were 15 people (29.4%) and mothers who had irregular visits were 36 people (70.6%) with spontaneous vaginal delivery as many as 10 people (19.6%) and SC delivery process as many as 41 people (80.4%). Chi-square statistical test results with a significance limit of sig α 0.05, obtained the p-value value of 0.003 <sig α (0.05). Conclusion; in this study shows that there is a relationship between ANC history of pregnant women and labor process at RSUD. Dr. Tengku Mansyur Tanjung Balai in 2018

    ANALISIS KUALITAS KERJA PERAWAT SHIFT PAGI, SIANG DAN MALAM DI RUANG RAWAT INAP RUMAH SAKIT UMUM DAERAH SIMEULUE TAHUN 2018

    The quality of the work of nurses is part of the quality of work of health workers in the hospital, the quality of the work of nurses can be measured through the quality of nursing services provided to patients. It is suspected that there are differences in the quality of work of nurses who work on shift, morning, afternoon and night. The purpose of this study was to analyze differences in the quality of work for nurses in the morning, afternoon and evening shifts in the inpatient room. This study is causally comparative with a quasy experiment design. The study was conducted in the Inpatient Room of Simeulue Regional General Hospital. The population in this study 122 people and the sample obtained 97 people divided into morning shift 41 people, afternoon shift 29 people and night shift 27 people. Data analysis was carried out by univariate, bivariate using Kruskal-Wallis test, and continued post hoc test with Mann-Whitney test. The results showed that the quality of nurses' work based on reliability(p=0,000), responsiveness(p=0,000), assurance(p=0,000), physical evidence(p=0,000), and empathy(p=0,000) contained differences between morning, afternoon and night shifts, p <0.05. The overall test results showed that there were differences in the quality of work of nurses in the morning, afternoon and night shifts, p = 0,000 <0,05. The work quality of morning shift nurses is no different from the afternoon shift, but the quality of the morning shift work is different from the night shift, the afternoon shift is different from the night shift. This conclusion there are differences in the quality of work of nurses (morning, afternoon, and night shifts), Simeulue Regional General Hospital is recommended to reduce long night work shifts and be adjusted to morning shifts, and afternoon shifts for 8 hours each

    FORMULASI SEDIAAN SABUN CAIR DARI EKSTRAK DAUN BIDARA (Ziziphus mauritiana)

    Bidara leaf (Ziziphus mauritiana is one of the rare plants, expecially in Indonesia. Bidara is a fruit-producing plant that grows in the regions of north africa and tropical and Western Asia. There are still many people who do not know Bidara Plants, especially their properties and chemical content. Chemical content found in Bidara plants are alkoloids, flovonoids, polyphenol, tannin, and terpenoids. Phenol and flavonoids compounds affect antioxidantactivity. Purpose of the study was to determine the extract of bidara leaves (Ziziphus mauritiana), can be formulated into liquid bath soap. This study used an experimental research method that was a research by conducting experimental activities to determine the effect that exists, as a result of experiments carried out on the dependent variable test. Experimental research conducted on Organoleptic Test, Homogeneity Test, pII Test, Foam Test, Hedonic Test, and Irritation Test. The results of this study indicated that the value of foam height was 50 cm. The third liquid bath soap still meet SNI 06-4085-1996, does not experience skin irrtitation. Liquid soap formulation has a stable color and odor form. The thre liquid soap formulations did not have granules so it can be said that the three liquid bath soap formulations were homogeneous, liquid bath soap preparations were 1% preferred by the researcher. It can be said that liquid bath soap formulation can be used as a liqouid bath soap. The conclusions of this studi noted that all preparations were homogeneous, pH ranges from 8.5 to 9.1, had good foam power that did not cause itchy irritation or redness of the skin and the most preferred form of liquid bath soap preparation by valunteers was formulation at a concentration of 1%

    ABSTRACT RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ANEMIA AND LOW BIRTH WEIGHT IN PUBLIC HOSPITALS SUNDARI MEDAN YEAR 2018 DESY MUTIA 1701032658 Anemia is a health problem associated with a high incidence and complications that can arise both in the mother and in the fetus. The WHO report says 35-75% of pregnant women are deficient and increase with pregnancy. Anemia will increase the risk of getting Low Birth Weight (LBW), bleeding before and during childbirth, and can even cause the death of the mother and her baby, if the mother is suffering from severe anemia. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of anemia with the incidence of low birth weight babies at Sundari Medan General Hospital in 2018. This research method uses analytic cross sectional approach. The population taken was all mothers who gave birth with Low Birth Weight (LBW) at Sundari General Hospital in 2018 in July 2017 to June 2018 as many as 75 people, the number of samples in this study were 75 people with total population techniques. The results of univariate research showed that there were 41 mothers who experienced anemia (54.7%) and 34 (45.3%) who did not experience anemia. There were 59 babies with low birth weight (LBW). %) and those who experienced very low birth weight babies (LBW) were 16 babies (21.3%). Based on bivariate analysis shows the results of statistical tests using chi-square obtained significant values of anemia that is α 0.03 <0.05. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship of anemia with the incidence of Low Birth Weight Babies in Sundari General Hospital Medan in 2018. Suggestions are expected to pay more attention to hemoglobin levels so that it can reduce the risk of giving birth to babies with Low Birth Weight (LBW).     Nutritional awareness is a balanced nutrition behavior, able to recognize and overcome nutritional problems. The number of patient visits at the KIA health center Peusangan Health Center in 2017 reached 515 people, of which 182 pregnant women were anemic, 141 experienced SEZ (chronic energy deficiency) and weight did not increase. This is due to a lack of nutritional awareness behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of knowledge, attitudes, family income, disease history, customs, family support, and ANC implementation on nutritional conscious behavior in pregnant women in peusangan health center in 2018. This type of research is a mixed method with quantitative and qualitative approaches. A qualitative approach is a phenomenon from a quantitative approach, which is an analytic observational study with a specific frequency. The population of this study are all pregnant women who made a visit when the researchers conducted the study, namely amounted 37 respondents. The quantitative approach sample amounted 37 respondents by using total sampling technique. The qualitative sample consisted of 3 pregnant women, 3 husbands and 1 midwife. Quantitative data analysis was univariate, bivariate, and multivariate, while qualitative analysis data carried out data validity and conclusion drawing. The results showed that there was a relationship between nutritional conscious behavior with knowledge, attitudes, family support and the implementation of ANC in pregnant women. There is no relationship between nutritional conscious behavior with income, history of illness and customs in pregnant women. The dominant knowledge variable influences the Exp (B) value which is higher than the other variables. The results of multiple logistic regression test with the value of Overall percentage = 97.3%. It is recommended for pregnant women to increase knowledge about nutritional awareness through electronic media and print media, besides being expected to attend if there are counseling meetings or posyandu in the village that convey health information, especially about nutrition awareness

    The use of health services is very important for community to maintain, improve, prevent, cure diseases and restore the health of individuals and society. Taon Marisi Village is one of the working areas of the Parsoburan Health Center which is very lacking in utilizing health services because of 12 patients per month. The purpose of this study was to know the influencing factor that utilization of health services in Taon Marisi villagers, Habinsaran District, Toba Samosir 2018. This type of research is an analytical survey research with cross sectional approach. The population of this study were all household heads in Taon Marisi Village as many as 90 families with a sample of the entire population.Data collection uses primary, secondary and tertiary data. Data analysis used univariate data analysis, bivariate with chi square test and multivariate with logistic regression test. Logistic regression test results showed that the variables of education (p = 0,001), income (p = 0,002), perception of pain (p=0,011), ownership of insurance (p = 0,037) and access (p = 0,020) has a significant relationship and influences with utilization of health services in Taon Marisi villagers, Habinsaran District, Toba Samosir 2018. It is suggested to community health center to further improve the quality of services through the health promotion and counseling using simple language, as well as the government so that it can focus on developing village bussines, pay attention to access and fix damaged roads

    Pregnancy checks are very important for all pregnant women to know about fetal growth and maternal health. Almost all pregnant women in Indonesia (95.4%) have had a pregnancy check up (K1) and a frequency of at least 4 times during their pregnancy (83.5%). This study aims to determine the relationship of family support with adherence to ANC visits in Trimester III Pregnant Women in the Maternity Hospital of Medan City in 2018. This type of research is an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach, with a population of 126 people, a sample of 30 people was carried out by accidental sampling technique, which was sampling accidentally without being planned. The measuring instrument used was a questionnaire using univariate, bivariate and multivariate data analysis. The results of the study of 30 pregnant women were the majority of Family Support 16 people (53.3%) who obeyed 12 ANC visits (40%) and 4 non-adherents (13.3%). The results of statistical tests with Chi-Square test with a confidence level of 95% with ɑ = 0.05, that is a significant value of probability. Family support with compliance with ANC visits for pregnant women whose P value (Sign) is <0.05, meaning that instrumental family support variables have a significant relationship with a value of 0.023 <0.05. The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between Instrumental Family Support and Compliance with ANC Visits in III Trimester Pregnant Women in the Maternity Hospital of Medan City in 2018
