PMA Côte d’Ivoire Phase 1 Client Exit Interview Baseline Survey (2020)
PMA Côte d’Ivoire Phase 1 Client Exit Interview Baseline Survey includes 122 enumeration areas (EAs) selected using a multi-stage stratified cluster design with urban-rural and region strata. The results representative at the national level and within urban/rural strata. The final sample included 928 clients which completed the interview. Data collection was conducted between September and November 2020. More information about this dataset can be found in the corresponding codebook, accessible at https://doi.org/10.34976/1hrp-p268</a
PMA Burkina Faso Phase 2 Client Exit Interview Follow-up Survey (2021)
PMA Burkina Faso Phase 2 Client Exit Interview Follow-up Survey includes 167 enumeration areas (EAs) selected using a multi-stage stratified cluster design with urban-rural strata. The results are representative at the national level and in the urban/rural areas. Results from Centre region are representative of the urban environment only and results from the Hauts-Bassin region are representative of the region and the urban/rural areas. The final sample included 656 clients who completed the interview. The data was collected between June 2021. More information about this dataset can be found in the corresponding codebook, accessible at https://doi.org/10.34976/1hrp-p268</a
PMA Côte d’Ivoire Phase 2 Service Delivery Point Survey (2022)
PMA Côte d’Ivoire Phase 2 Service Delivery Point Survey includes 122 enumeration areas (EAs) selected using a multi-stage stratified cluster design with urban-rural and region strata. The results are representative at the national level and within urban/rural strata. The final sample included 216 facilities which completed the interview. Data collection was conducted between September 2021 and January 2022. More information about this dataset can be found in the corresponding codebook, accessible at https://doi.org/10.34976/f0vf-qd73</a
PMA2020 Uganda Round 5 Service Delivery Point Survey (2017)
Uganda Round 5 Service Delivery Point (SQ) survey used a two-stage cluster design with urban-rural and region as strata. For this survey round, a new set of 110 enumeration areas (EAs) were selected, adjacent to EAs used in the previous four rounds, drawn by the Uganda Bureau of Statistics from its master sampling frame. Each EA was listed and mapped. Public facilities were included if a selected EA fell within the catchment area. Private facilities were included if they fell within the boundaries of the EA. Data collection was conducted between April and May, 2017. The final completed sample included 335 SDPs. More information about this dataset can be found in the corresponding codebook, accessible at https://doi.org/10.34976/vfbp-bz42</a
PMA Nigeria (Kano, Lagos) Phase 2 Client Exit Interview Baseline Survey (2021)
PMA Nigeria (Kano & Lagos) Phase 2 Client Exit Interview Baseline Survey includes 25 enumeration areas (EAs) in Kano and 52 EAs in Lagos. The EAs were drawn using the same stratified cluster design with urban-rural strata from the National Population Commission’s master sampling frame. The results are representative at the state level. The final sample included 709 clients in Kano and 560 clients in Lagos which completed the interview. Data collection was conducted between December 2020 and February 2021. More information about this dataset can be found in the corresponding codebook, accessible at https://doi.org/10.34976/1hrp-p268</a
PMA2020 Burkina Faso Round 1 Service Delivery Point Survey (2015)
Burkina Faso Round 1 Service Delivery Point (SQ) survey used a two-stage cluster design with urban and rural strata. A sample of 53 enumeration areas (EAs) was drawn by INSD. Each EA was listed and mapped. Public facilities were included if a selected EA fell within the catchment area. Private facilities were included if they fell within the boundaries of the EA. Data collection was conducted between November 2014 and January 2015. The final completed sample was 106 SDPs. More information about this dataset can be found in the corresponding codebook, accessible at https://doi.org/10.34976/vfbp-bz42</a
PMA2020 Uganda Round 2 Household & Female Survey (2015)
Uganda Round 2 Household and Female (HQFQ) survey used a two-stage cluster design with urban-rural and sub-region as strata. A sample of 110 enumeration areas (EAs) was drawn by the Uganda Bureau of Statistics from its master sampling frame. In each EA households and health facilities were listed and mapped, with 44 households randomly selected. Households were surveyed and occupants enumerated. All eligible females age 15 to 49 were contacted and consented for interviews. The final sample (and completion rates) included 4,143 households (93.5%), 3,654 females (94.7%) and 360 health facilities (97.0%). Data collection was conducted between January and February 2015. More information about this dataset can be found in the corresponding codebook, accessible at https://doi.org/10.34976/b88s-zx32</a
Data and code associated with the publication: A best-evidence synthesis and meta-analysis on effective reading programs in Spanish
This systematic review and meta-analysis examined the effectiveness of Spanish reading programs in grades K-6. The research designs included were experimental and quasi-experimental. Effect sizes were analyzed using a multivariate meta-regression model with robust variance estimation (Hedges et al., 2010). To assess the degree of heterogeneity in the effect sizes, a 95% prediction interval was calculated (Borenstein et al., 2017). A total of 11 studies and 51 effect sizes met the inclusion criteria. The full meta-regression model controlling for grade level and outcome type showed a large positive effect across all studies (effect size = 0.49, p < 0.05), with a large, positive effect on reading outcomes, and significant impacts on phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, and reading comprehension in K-2. Results suggest that effective instructional programs for K-6 Spanish reading exist. However, there is a need for more rigorous research on reading instructional programs for Spanish-speaking children
Data associated with the publication: Precise astrophotometric ages and metallicities for 400,000 solar neighborhood subgiant branch stars.
Posterior distributions for the intrinsic stellar parameters (mass, age, distance, etc) and observables (e.g. apparent magnitudes) of approximately 400,000 nearby subgiant branch stars, given the measurements such as parallaxes, and given priors such as the requirement that the stars’ intrinsic stellar parameters be along a MIST stellar isochrone (Choi et al., 2016ApJ...823..102C).
The 16th, 50th, and 84th percentile of the parameters with posteriors are available with the publication
Data associated with the publication: Auditory discrimination learning differentially modulates neural representation in auditory cortex subregions and inter-areal connectivity
Wide-field imaging data of the mice left auditory cortex during a tone discrimination task. Behavioral data, processed data, and scripts for analysis and generating figures are also included
