PMA Ethiopia Panel (2021-2023) Cohort 2: 1-year Follow-up Survey
PMA Ethiopia Panel Cohort 2: 1-Year Follow-up survey followed women who were eligible to remain in the Panel Cohort 2 study and did not refuse to follow-up at their previous interview. Women who consented to follow-up at the baseline and were still living at the time of the last interview; did not report a still birth, miscarriage, or abortion at the previous interview; did not refuse the previous interviews; and did not refuse future follow-up at the previous interview were included in this survey. A total of 1,858 mother or caregivers completed the 1-year follow-up survey. Panel women could become ineligible for 1-year follow-up if they refused follow-up at some point, died, or had no live births. The data collection for the 1-year follow-up survey occurred between September 2022 and August 2023. PMA2020 Ghana Round 1 Household & Female Survey (2013)
Ghana Round 1 Household and Female (HQFQ) survey used a two-stage cluster design with urban and rural, major ecological zones as the strata. A sample of 100 enumeration areas (EAs) was drawn by the Ghana Statistical Service from its master sampling frame. For each EA, 42 households were randomly selected using a random number generator. Occupants in selected households were enumerated and eligible females of reproductive age (15-49) were contacted and consented for interview. Data collection was conducted between September and October, 2013. The final sample of completed households included 3,536 households in 99 EAs and 3,708 completed female interviews. PMA2020 Côte d’Ivoire Round 2 Household & Female Survey (2018)
Côte d’Ivoire Round 2 Household and Female (HQFQ) survey data provide representative estimates at the national and urban and rural level. A total of 73 enumerations areas (EAs) were selected by Côte d’Ivoire’s National Statistics Institute, using probability proportional to size, from a sampling frame provided by the Fourth General Census of Population and Housing in 2014. Structures, households, and service delivery points (SDPs) were enumerated in each selected EA. Thirty-five households were selected randomly from each EA. All eligible women, aged 15 to 49, in the sampled households were contacted and consented for interviews. Data collection occurred from July to August 2018. The final database included 2,425 households and 2,797 de facto women. PMA2020 Niger Round 4 Service Delivery Point Survey (2017)
Niger (National) Round 4 Service Delivery Point (SQ) survey used a two-stage cluster design with Niamey, urban areas outside of Niamey, and rural areas as the strata. A total of 84 enumerations areas (EAs) (51 outside of and 33 within Niamey) were selected, using probability proportional to size, from a sampling frame provide by the Fourth General Census of Population and Housing, conducted by Niger’s National Statistics Institute in 2012.
