PMA2020 Democratic Republic of Congo (Kinshasa) Round 3 Household & Female Survey (2015)
Democratic Republic of Congo (Kinshasa) Round 3 Household and Female (HQFQ) survey included a sample of 58 enumeration areas (EA) was drawn (PPS) in Kinshasa. For each EA, 30 households and 3-6 health service delivery points (SDPs) were selected. Households were systematically sampled using random selection and a complete household roster was conducted. Eligible females of reproductive age (15-49) were contacted and consented for interviews. The final sample included 1,768 completed households, and 2,684 completed de facto females. PMA2020 Ghana Round 4 Service Delivery Point Survey (2015)
Ghana Round 4 Service Delivery Point (SQ) survey used a two-stage cluster design with urban and rural, major ecological zones as the strata. A sample of 100 enumeration areas (EAs) was drawn by the Ghana Statistical Service from its master sampling frame. Each EA was listed and mapped. Public facilities were included if a selected EA fell within the catchment area. Private facilities were included if they fell within the boundaries of the EA. Data collection was conducted between May and June, 2015. The final completed sample in Ghana Round 4 was 233 SDPs. PMA2020 Nigeria (Kaduna, Lagos) Round 1 Household & Female Survey (2014)
Nigeria (Kaduna & Lagos) Round 1 Household and Female (HQFQ) survey used a three-stage cluster design, with urban-rural as strata in Kaduna. A sample of 66 clusters of enumeration areas (EAs) in Kaduna and 37 clusters of enumeration areas (EAs) in Lagos were drawn from the National Population Commission’s master sampling frame along with a list of EAs contiguous to the index EA. The EAs in Nigeria are usually small, with approximately 48 households on average. To create clusters with a minimum of 200 households, each EA was listed and mapped. If there were fewer than 200 households identified, the next EA in the list of contiguous EAs was listed and mapped in its entirety. If the total number of households was still less than 200, the entirety of the third EA was listed and so on. Each cluster of EAs serves as the primary sampling unit from which 35 households (40 in Lagos) and up to 3 private health facilities in both Kaduna and Lagos were randomly selected. Households were surveyed and occupants enumerated. All eligible females age 15 to 49 were contacted and consented for interviews. The final sample included 2,194 households and 2,569 females in Kaduna; and 974 households and 764 females in Lagos. Data collection was conducted between September and October 2014. Data associated with the publication: Similarities in storage and transport of sulfate in forested and suburban watersheds, despite anthropogenically elevated suburban sulfate
This study focuses on differences in sources and dynamics of sulfate in a forested versus suburban streams in an unglaciated region underlain by schist. Sulfate in streams is both an important nutrient and potential pollutant that is linked with the nitrogen, carbon, and phosphorus cycles. There are uncertainties about how suburban sulfate sources including septic, fertilizer, road salt, and infrastructure impact sulfate fluxes. We studied suburban and forested headwater catchments nested within a 381-ha catchment to estimate the magnitude of sulfate sources and evaluate the effects of land use on transport to streams. Data for this study include discharge, sulfate concentrations, water hydrogen and oxygen values, and sulfate sulfur and oxygen isotope data, as well as results of models described in the paper

This archive contains data used in the publication Recalde-Coronel G. C. et al. (2024).
The sub-seasonal to seasonal hydrological forecast systems (S2S-HFS) dataset contains monthly spatial meteorological forcing fields (e.g., Tair, Qair, Rain) and hydrological variables (e.g., evapotranspiration, surface runoff) for Western Tropical South America (WTSA) for ten ensemble members. WTSA includes Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, and portions of Venezuela, Brazil, Bolivia, and Chile. We conducted the S2S-HFS hindcast simulations from 2000 to 2017 using the Noah-Multi-parameterization (Noah-MP) land surface model in offline mode within NASA’s Land Information System. The S2S-HFS hydrological simulations consist of daily outputs at 10-km spatial resolution over WTSA (1°N–18°S, 82°–67°W). The S2S-HFS is run using the downscaled NASA Goddard Earth Observing System Model - sub-seasonal to seasonal (GEOS-S2SV1) dataset as a meteorological forcing, and the Western Tropical of South America Land Data Assimilation systems (WTSA-LDAS; Recalde et al. 2021) retrospective simulation dataset as initial conditions. Further details of the S2S-HFS methodology are provided in Recalde-Coronel et al. (2024).

PMA2020 India (Rajasthan) Round 3 Household & Female Survey (2017)
India Round 3 (Rajasthan) Household and Female (HQFQ) survey used a two-stage cluster design. A sample of 147 enumeration areas (EAs) was drawn by the International Institute for Population Sciences from a master sampling frame. Each EA was listed and mapped; 35 households were randomly selected. Occupants in selected households were enumerated and eligible females of reproductive age (15-49) were contacted and consented for interview. Data collection was conducted between November and December, 2014. The final completed sample included 4,892 household interviews and 6,095 female interviews. PMA2020 Burkina Faso Round 3 Household & Female Survey (2016)
Burkina Round 3 Household and Female (HQFQ) survey used a two-stage cluster design with urban and rural strata. A sample, which increased to 83 enumeration areas (EAs) for this round, was drawn from the INSD master sampling frame. Each EA was listed and mapped; 35 households were randomly selected. Occupants in selected households were enumerated and eligible females of reproductive age (15-49) were contacted and consented for interview. Data collection was conducted between March and May, 2016. The final sample size is 2,803 households and 3,356 females.
