    PMA Kenya Phase 2 (KEP2) Client Exit Interview Baseline Survey includes 308 enumeration areas (EAs) of selected counties. The EAs were drawn using the multi-stage cluster design with urban-rural strata by the Kenya Bureau of Statistics following the pre-existing sampling frame used for PMA2020. The results are national and county-level representative. The final sample included 4,846 clients which completed the interview. Data collection was conducted between November and December 2020.     PMA Ethiopia 2023 Cross-sectional survey used a two-stage cluster design with urban-rural, and major regions as strata. A total of 280 enumeration areas (EAs) were selected from the master sample frame and a cross-section of 35 households are randomly selected from within each enumeration area. All women aged 15-49-years old in the selected households are eligible for the cross-sectional survey. The final sample included 9,763 households and 8,943 women who completed the survey. Data collection was conducted between December 2023 and January 2024.     Democratic Republic of Congo (Kinshasa) Round 3 Service Delivery Point (SQ) survey used a two-stage cluster design to draw a representative urban sample in Kinshasa. A sample of 58 enumeration areas (EAs) was drawn (PPS). Each EA was listed and mapped. Public facilities were included if a selected EA fell within the catchment area. Private facilities were included if they fell within the boundaries of the EA. Data collection was conducted between May and June, 2015. The final completed sample was 247 SDPs.     Côte d’Ivoire Round 2 Service Delivery Point (SQ) survey data provide representative estimates at the national and urban and rural level. A total of 73 enumerations areas (EAs) were selected by Côte d’Ivoire’s National Statistics Institute, using probability proportional to size, from a sampling frame provided by the Fourth General Census of Population and Housing in 2014. Structures, households, and service delivery points (SDPs) were enumerated in each selected EA. The SDP sample included three public SDPs that serve an EA and up to three private SDPs within the EA. Data collection occurred from July to August 2018. The final database included 135 SDPs, of which 116 are public.     PMA Nigeria (Kano & Lagos) Phase 3 Household and Female survey collects state-level representative data on knowledge, practice, and coverage of family planning services in 25 enumeration areas (EAs) in Kano and 52 EAs in Lagos selected using a multi-stage stratified cluster design with urban-rural strata. The final sample included 834 (99.5%) households and 1,144 (98.8%) females in Kano and 1,588 (93.3%) households and 1,426 (95.1%) females in Lagos who completed the interviews for the cross-sectional survey. The data was collected between December 2021 and January 2022.Kano Phase 3 panel data were collected among women from Phase 1 and Phase 2 who consented to follow-up and aged 15-49y at Phase 3. Of the 1,127 women, 87% were enrolled in the panel survey at Phase 1 between December 2019 and January 2020, and 13% enrolled in the panel survey at Phase 2 between December 2020 and January 2021. Of the women eligible for the panel survey at Phase 3, 11.1% of were not reached for follow-up at Phase 3. Of those reached, 978 (88.7%) completed the survey, for a response rate of 99.6% among contacted women.Lagos Phase 3 panel data were collected among 1,656 women from Phase 1 and Phase 2 who consented to follow-up and aged 15-49y at Phase 3. Of the eligible panel sample, 75.8% of women were enrolled in the panel survey at Phase 1 between December 2019 and January 2020, and 24.2% of women were enrolled in the panel survey at Phase 2 between December 2020 and January 2021. Of the 1,656 women eligible for the panel survey at Phase 3, 21.7% of were not reached for follow-up at Phase 3. Of those reached, 1,258 (76%) completed the survey, for a response rate of 97.1% among contacted women.     Indonesia Round 2 Household and Female (HQFQ) survey used a multi-stage cluster design with province at the first and enumeration areas (EAs) at the second stage. A sample of 372 enumeration areas (EAs) was drawn by the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) from its master sampling frame to accommodate an oversample for one province (South Sulawesi with 60 EAs) and one district (Makassar, with 37 EAs). Each EA was listed and mapped and 35 households were randomly selected. Households were surveyed and occupants enumerated. All eligible females age 15-49 were contacted and consented for interview. Data collection was conducted between October 2016 and January 2017. The final sample included 12,107 completed household interviews and 10,666 complete female interviews.     PMA Ethiopia Panel Cohort 1: 1-Year Follow-up survey followed women who were eligible to remain in the Panel Cohort 1 study and did not refuse to follow-up at their previous interview. Women who consented to follow-up at the baseline and were still living at the time of the last interview; did not report a still birth, miscarriage, or abortion at the previous interview; did not refuse the previous interviews; and did not refuse future follow-up at the previous interview were included in this survey. A total of 2,094 mother or caregivers completed the 1-year follow-up survey. Panel women could become ineligible for 1-year follow-up if they refused follow-up at some point, died, or had no live births. The data collection for the 1-year follow-up survey occurred between July 2020 and July 2021.
