Data associated with the publication: The thermodynamic effects of solute on void nucleation in Mg alloys

    No full text
This dataset consists of molecular dynamics data and meta-data associated with replica exchange transition interface sampling simulations in Mg–Al alloys with high vacancy concentrations. These studies indicate that the presence of a solute reduces thermodynamic barriers to the clustering of vacancies and the formation of voids. The emergence of local minima in the free energy along the reaction coordinate suggests that void formation may become a multi-step process in the presence of a solute. In this scenario, vacancies agglomerate with solute before they coalesce into a stable void with well-defined internal surfaces. The emergence of vacancy–solute clusters as intermediate states would imply that classical nucleation theory is unlikely to adequately describe void formation in alloys at high vacancy concentrations, a likely precursor for alloy strengthening through nanoscale precipitation

Data and code associated with the publication: Anthropogenic influences on the water cycle amplify uncertainty in drought assessments

    No full text
This depository includes three NetCDF datasets and one Mathematica notebook designed to compute the drought estimation error within the bias-variance decomposition framework for various constructed terrestrial water storage scenarios. These methods are also applied to a real-world global reanalyses terrestrial water storage dataset

Data and code associated with the publication: Strategies to reduce promoter-independent transcription of DNA nanostructures and strand displacement complexes

    No full text
This dataset is applicable to the manuscript “Strategies to reduce promoter-independent transcription of DNA nanostructures and strand displacement complexes”. It contains DNA sequences, raw fluorescence data, scripts to analyze the fluorescence data, and uncropped images that were used in the manuscript’s figures

PMA2020 Ethiopia Round 1 Service Delivery Point Survey (2014)

    No full text
Ethiopia Round 1 Service Delivery Point (SQ) survey used a two-stage cluster design with urban and rural, major regions as strata. A sample of 200 enumeration areas (EAs) was drawn by the Central Statistical Agency from its master sampling frame. Each EA was listed and mapped. Public facilities were included if a selected EA fell within the catchment area. Private facilities were included if they fell within the boundaries of the EA. Data collection was conducted between January and March, 2014. The final completed sample in Ethiopia Round 1 was 389 SDPs. More information about this dataset can be found in the corresponding codebook, accessible at https://doi.org/10.34976/vfbp-bz42</a

PMA Burkina Faso Phase 2 Household and Female Survey (2021)

    No full text
PMA Burkina Faso Phase 2 Household and Female survey collects data on knowledge, practice, and coverage of family planning services in 167 enumeration areas (EAs) selected using a multi-stage stratified cluster design with urban-rural strata. The results are representative at the national level and in the urban/rural areas. Results from Centre region are representative of the urban environment only and results from the Hauts-Bassin region are representative of the region and the urban/rural areas. The final sample included 5,843 households and 6,713 (93.5%) women who completed the interviews for the cross-sectional survey. The data was collected between December 2020 and March 2021. Phase 2 panel data collection was conducted among females aged 15-49 at the time of the Phase 2 survey who were interviewed at the baseline survey between December 2019 and February 2020 and consented to follow-up. Of the 2549 eligible respondents, 17.8% were not reached for follow-up. Of the 6532 eligible respondents, 2.6% were not reached for follow-up. Of those reached, 5491 (84.1%) completed the survey, for a response rate of 99.7% among contacted women. More information about this dataset can be found in the corresponding codebook, accessible at https://doi.org/10.34976/cjvx-z226</a

    PMA2020 Ethiopia Round 6 Household & Female Survey (2018)

    No full text
Ethiopia Round 6 Household and Female (HQFQ) survey used a two-stage cluster design with urban-rural, major regions as strata. This survey round used the same 221 enumeration areas (EAs) from the previous round drawn by the Central Statistical Agency from its master sampling frame. For each EA, 35 households were selected. Households were systematically sampled using random selection. Households with eligible females of reproductive age (15-49 years) were contacted and consented for interviews. The final sample included 7,621 households and 7,429 de facto females. Data collection was conducted between June to July 2018. More information about this dataset can be found in the corresponding codebook, accessible at https://doi.org/10.34976/b88s-zx32</a

PMA Kenya Phase 1 Client Exit Interview (2019)

    No full text
PMA Kenya Phase 1 (KEP1) Client Exit Interview Survey includes 308 enumeration areas (EAs) of selected counties. The national sample is composed of the existing 115 PMA2020 EAs which were refreshed and supplemented with the new EAs. The new EAs were drawn using the same stratified cluster design with urban-rural strata by the Kenya Bureau of Statistics following the pre-existing sampling frame used for PMA2020. The results are national and county-level representative. The final sample included 3,930 women (99.9%) which completed the interview. Data collection was conducted between November and December 2019. More information about this dataset can be found in the corresponding codebook, accessible at https://doi.org/10.34976/1hrp-p268</a

    PMA2020 Uganda Round 1 Household & Female Survey (2014)

    No full text
Uganda Round 1 Household and Female (HQFQ) survey used a two-stage cluster design with urban/rural, regions as strata. The first stage of sampling was at the regional level using probability proportional to size procedures. Within the selected regions, clusters were selected proportional to the urban/rural distribution. The sample was powered to generate national estimates of the all woman mCPR with less than 5% margin of error. National, urban/rural, and regional (10) estimates of mCPR are generated from PMA2014/Uganda. More information about this dataset can be found in the corresponding codebook, accessible at https://doi.org/10.34976/b88s-zx32</a

PMA2020 Burkina Faso Round 2 Service Delivery Point Survey (2015)

    No full text
Burkina Faso Round 2 Service Delivery Point (SQ) survey used a two-stage cluster design with urban and rural strata. A sample of 53 enumeration areas (EAs) was drawn by INSD. Each EA was listed and mapped. Public facilities were included if a selected EA fell within the catchment area. Private facilities were included if they fell within the boundaries of the EA. Data collection was conducted between May and June, 2015. The final completed sample was 100 SDPs. More information about this dataset can be found in the corresponding codebook, accessible at https://doi.org/10.34976/vfbp-bz42</a
