PMA2020 Uganda Round 4 Household & Female Survey (2016)
No full textUganda Round 4 Household and Female (HQFQ) survey used a two-stage cluster design with sub-region as strata. A sample of 110 enumeration areas (EAs) was drawn by the Uganda Bureau of Statistics from its master sampling frame. In each EA households and health facilities were listed and mapped, with 44 households randomly selected. Households were surveyed and occupants enumerated. All eligible females age 15 to 49 were contacted and consented for interviews. The final analytic sample included 4,191 completed households and 3,818 completed de facto female interviews. PMA2020 Nigeria (Oyo) Round 1 Service Delivery Point Survey (2014)
No full textNigeria (Oyo) Round 1 Service Delivery Point (SQ) survey used a two-stage cluster design with urban-rural as strata. A sample of 80 enumeration areas (EAs) was drawn from the National Population Commission’s master sampling frame. In each EA private health facilities were listed and mapped. The final sample included 221 health, of which 103 are public. Data collection was conducted between November and December 2017. The Oyo state was not included in the national estimates since the Oyo data collection was done separately and its sampling method differed from those of other states. Thus, data for Oyo state is released separately in a different dataset. A sample of 147 enumeration areas (EAs) was drawn by the International Institute for Population Sciences from a master sampling frame. Each EA was listed and mapped. Public facilities were included if a selected EA fell within the catchment area. Private facilities were included if they fell within the boundaries of the EA. Private facilities in contiguous geographic areas to the EA were included in Rounds 2 and 3 to increase the sample size of private SDPs. Data collection was conducted between August to October 2017. Results from Centre region are representative of the urban environment only and results from the Hauts-Bassin region are representative of the region and the urban/rural areas. The final sample included 239 SDPs which completed the interview. Data collection was conducted between December 2021 and March 2022. A sample of 372 enumeration areas (EAs) was drawn by the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) from its master sampling frame to accommodate an oversample for one province (South Sulawesi with 60 EAs) and one district (Makassar, with 37 EAs). Each EA was listed and mapped. Public facilities were included if a selected EA fell within the catchment area. Private facilities were included if they fell within the boundaries of the EA. Data collection was conducted between October 2016 and January 2017. The final completed sample in Ghana Round 1 was 945 SDPs. PMA2020 Niger (Niamey) Round 5 Service Delivery Point Survey (2018)
No full textFor the Niger (Niamey) Round 5 Service Delivery Point (SQ) survey, a total of 33 enumeration areas (EAs) were selected using probability promotional to size, from a sampling frame provided by the Fourth General Census of Population and Housing, conducted by Niger’s National Statistics Institute in 2012. Structures, households, and service delivery points (SDPs) were enumerated in each selected EA. The SDP sample included up to three public SDPs that serve an EA and up to three private SDPs within the EA. Data collection occurred from June to August 2018. In Niamey, a total of 30 service delivery points were interviewed, of which 21 are public.
