8.- IMPACTO DEL DESARROLLO DE HABILIDADES DE PENSAMIENTO CRÍTICO EN LA COMPRENSIÓN LECTORA DE ESTUDIANTES DE ENSEÑANZA BÁSICA
Full text linkLa investigación pretendió determinar, a través de un estudio cuasiexperimental con grupo control, los efectos globales y diferenciales de una experiencia programática de desarrollo de habilidades del pensamiento crítico en los niveles de desempeño de comprensión lectora de 57 estudiantes de octavo año básico. El programa de intervención se diseñó en función de los postulados teóricos y metodológicos de autores como Mathew Lipman, Richard Paul y Linda Elder, quienes le otorgan al cuestionamiento de tipo socrático un rol fundamental en la evaluación y análisis del razonamiento que tiene lugar en el proceso de comprensión lectora. El estudio revela que solo el grupo experimental evidencia un cambio positivo y estadísticamente significativo en el nivel global de desempeño de comprensión lectora y en seis de las siete áreas evaluadas.
Abstract:
The research aimed to determine, through a quasi-experimental study, the overall and differential effects of a programmatic experience in the development of critical thinking skills on reading comprehension levels of performance of 57 eight-graded elementary school students. The intervention program was designed based on the theoretical and practical postulates of authors such as Mathew Lipman, Richard Paul and Linda Elder, who give to the Socratic questioning a fundamental role in the evaluation and analysis of the reasoning that takes place in the reading comprehension process. The study unveils that only the experimental group shows a positive and statistically significant change in the overall level of reading comprehension performance and in six of the seven areas evaluated

Este estudio revisa diez trabajos desarrollados en el área de la comunicación no verbal llevados a cabo en los últimos cinco años desde el comienzo de nuestra investigación
doctoral en el año 2017. Para tal fin, se delimitan las tendencias temáticas de los trabajos, los objetivos de estudio y las metodologías que se aplican. Las conclusiones de la revisión se recogen en el apartado de Convergencias y divergencias en el que, entre otros resultados, se evidencia la predominante presencia de los análisis quinésicos sobre el resto de los sistemas no verbales, el marcado carácter interdisciplinar de los estudios, o la interdependencia relacional entre el código verbal y el contexto de la interacción

2.- VARIACIÓN ALOFÓNICA DEL FONEMA /r/ EN PROFESIONALES CHILENOS EN HABLA SEMIESPONTÁNEA
No full textEn la siguiente investigación, se presentan los resultados observados en la producción del fonema /r/ en una población de profesionales chilenos de 8 ciudades del país: Iquique, La Serena, Valparaíso, Santiago, Concepción, Temuco, Coyhaique y Punta Arenas. La situación comunicativa en la cual se obtuvieron las realizaciones corresponde a una entrevista semidirigida, con el propósito de acercarse lo más posible a una modalidad espontánea de habla.
Se constató que la mayor cantidad de fonos que realizan el fonema /r/ corresponde a un sonido aproximante, alveolar, sonoro [ɹ], independiente de la zona geográfica de la cual proceden los informantes y el género de ellos.
Complementariamente, los resultados de esta investigación se compararon con los obtenidos con los mismos informantes en la modalidad de lectura en voz alta (Retamal & Soto-Barba, 2017).
Abstract:
This study presents the results observed in the production of the phoneme /r/ in a population of Chilean professionals from 8 cities in the country: Iquique, La Serena, Valparaíso, Santiago, Concepción, Temuco, Coyhaique and Punta Arenas. The communicative situation in which the realizations were obtained was a semi-structured interview, with the purpose of obtaining data which approaches a spontaneous mode of speech.
It was found that the largest number of phonemes realizing the phoneme /r/ occurred as approximant, alveolar, voiced [ɹ] sounds, regardless of the geographical place of residence of the participants and their gender.
Additionally, the results from this study were compared to those obtained from the same participants in a read-aloud task (Retamal & Soto-Barba, 2017)
14.- EL GÉNERO FEMENINO EN EL CINE CHILENO DE 2000-2014: LA VISIÓN DE LOS GUIONISTAS.
No full textLa primera proyección cinematográfica en Chile fue el 26 de agosto de 1896, en Santiago, en un salón del Teatro de la Unión Central (Mouesca y Orellana 14), con un programa que tenía las mismas películas exhibidas algunos meses antes en Europa en la primera exhibición de cine mundial. Era la lógica de quienes recorrían el mundo mostrando el invento, pero sobre todo en busca de imágenes exóticas que entretuvieran a las masas consumidoras de espectáculo. Pero hubo un momento en que el espectáculo debió cruzarse con la narración. Se debían contar historias, el “efecto” no era suficiente para mantener el consumo, había que dotar a las imágenes en movimiento de identificación para los espectadores. Es quizás, el inicio del cruce entre cine y literatura. A partir de allí, la espectacularidad de la puesta en escena debía ser legataria de una historia que narrar

Este artículo analiza las implicancias simbólicas de la figura del perro en la literatura de Valparaíso. A partir de una mirada en perspectiva, que hace dialogar referentes textuales que dan cuenta de los antecedentes y la situación actual del imaginario canino en la ciudad puerto, se interpreta esta presencia desde el devenir-animal propuesto por Deleuze y Guattari y otros aportes teóricos que forman parte de lo que se ha denominado el “Giro Animal” del pensamiento contemporáneo. Se plantea que la literatura local inserta el imaginario de una “ciudadanía quiltra”, recreando un sujeto que entra en contacto con la denominada zona animal para insertarse en la disputa simbólica del territorio, exponiendo críticamente aquello que el discurso hegemónico administrativo omite y/o excluye en el proceso de imponer y homogeneizar paradigmas identitarios que la imagen-ciudad debe reflejar y reproducir.
Abstract:
This article analyzes the symbolic implications of the figure of the dog in the literature of Valparaíso. From a perspective which makes textual referents dialogue that account for the antecedents and current situation of the canine imagery in the port city, this presence is interpreted from the becoming-animal proposed by Deleuze and Guattari and other theoretical contributions that are part of what has been called the "Animal Turn" of contemporary thought. The installation of the imaginary of a "quiltro citizenship" is proposed, which relates to the construction, from local literature, of a subject who comes into contact with the so-called animal zone to insert itself into the symbolic dispute of the territory, critically exposing what the hegemonic administrative discourse omits and / or excludes in the process of imposing and homogenizing identity paradigms that the city-image must reflect and reproduce
15.- GOTHIC ELEMENTS IN THREE WORKS OF EARLY SPANISH ROMANTICISM

The awakening of Gothic in literature in 1764 marked a milestone in the development of
the Western literary canon. The inclusion of the supernatural and the horrific provoked the
end of the reign of Enlightenment and opened the door for Romanticism. In Spain it took a
while longer for the new literary trend to flourish. However, a group of writers who had
published during the last decades of the eighteenth century started to include gothic
elements in their works, creating Enlightenment-Gothic hybrids. Some of these authors
were Gaspar Melchor de Jovellanos, José Cadalso and Juan Meléndez Valdés. Their El
delincuente honrado, Noches lúgubres, and “A Jovino, el melancólico,” respectively prove
that gothic and sublime aesthetics also affected Spanish belles lettres.
Resumen:
El surgimiento de la literatura gótica en 1764 supuso un hito en el desarrollo del canon
literario occidental. La inclusión de lo sobrenatural y lo terrorífico provocó el final del
reinado de la Ilustración y allanó el camino al Romanticismo. En España, su florecimiento
se haría esperar algo más. Sin embargo, un grupo de escritores que habían venido
publicando desde las últimas décadas del siglo XVIII comenzaron a incluir elementos
góticos en sus obras, creando híbridos entre el espíritu ilustrado y la literatura gótica.
Algunos de esos autores fueron Gaspar Melchor de Jovellanos, José Cadalso y Juan
Meléndez Valdés. Sus El delincuente honrado, Noches lúgubres y “A Jovino, el
melancólico”, respectivamente, prueban que las estéticas gótica y sublime ya se habían
integrado en las belles lettres españolas
3.- “YO HE VISTO UN PÁJARO VERDE”: EXPERIENCIA, MEMORIA Y AUTOFICCIÓN FANTÁSTICA EN LA OBRA VANGUARDISTA DE JUAN EMAR
No full textEn este artículo propongo que el relato “El pájaro verde” de Juan Emar toma la forma de
una autoficción fantástica, de acuerdo con los planteamientos teóricos sobre la autoficción
de Vincent Colonna. Propongo también que en este relato la forma autoficcional adquiere
su carácter vanguardista al ser puesto en correlación con una metadiscursividad propia de la
modernidad narrativa, correlación que puede ser leída a partir de los estudios de Walter
Benjamin en los que articula la serie conceptual que va desde el concepto de experiencia,
pasando por el de memoria (voluntaria), ligado al de conciencia, y llegando hasta el de
narración. Finalmente, propongo que la expresión “yo he visto un pájaro verde”, leitmotive
del cuento, constituye la síntesis emariana de la serie conceptual, es decir, la forma de
elaborar el recuerdo de la experiencia narrable siguiendo una finalidad autocognoscitiva.
Abstract:
In this research article I propose that Juan Emar’s story “El pájaro verde” (The green bird)
takes the form of fantastic self-fiction as theoretically stated about self-fiction by Vincent
Colonna. Another proposal is that in this narration the self-fictional forms acquires its
avant-garde features by being placed in correlation with a meta-discursiveness typical of
narrative modernism. Such correlation can be read from the studies of Walter Benjamin
where he articulates the conceptual series which cover from the concept of experience,
going through the concept of memory (voluntarily), linked to that of conscience, until that
of narration. I finally propose that the expression “I have seen a green bird”, the leitmotive
of the short story, constitutes the emarian synthesis of the conceptual series, that is, the way
of elaborating the relatable experience with a self-cognitive purpose
6.- INGRESO DE ESTUDIANTES TRANS A ESTABLECIMIENTOS EDUCACIONALES CHILENOS: ANÁLISIS DE TOPOI EN COMENTARIOS DE FACEBOOK
No full textEl objetivo de la investigación es analizar los topoi en los que se basan las posiciones a
favor y en contra del ingreso de estudiantes trans a establecimientos educacionales
chilenos. El estudio se inscribe, de manera general, en la Lingüística Cognitiva y recoge,
desde allí, la propuesta de Wodak sobre la estrategia discursiva de los topoi como forma de
justificar determinadas posturas hacia las personas trans. El corpus está conformado por
comentarios digitales posteados por lectores/as en las páginas de Facebook de los medios
chilenos Chilevisión, CNN Chile, Cooperativa, en 2019. El procedimiento siguió las etapas:
a) preanálisis, b) codificación, c) categorización. Los resultados muestran un predominio de
comentarios que manifiestan una actitud negativa hacia personas trans y LGBTIQ+, a
través de seis topoi, los que contribuyen a la construcción y circulación de representaciones
sociales en nuestra sociedad.
Abstract:
The objective of this research is to analyze the topoi on which both stances for and against
the admission of trans students to Chilean educational institutions are based. This study is
inscribed, in general terms, in Cognitive Linguistics and addresses, from that point,
Wodak's proposal about the discursive strategy of the topoi as a form to justify certain
stances towards trans people. The corpus is composed by digital comments posted by
readers on Facebook pages of following Chilean media during 2019: Chilevisión, CNN
Chile and Cooperativa. The procedure followed these stages: a) pre-analysis, b) coding, c)
categorization. The results show a predominance of comments that manifest a negative
attitude towards trans and LGBTIQ+ people, through the six topoi, which contribute to the
construction and circulation of social representations in our society
11.- MÁS ALLÁ DEL AMOR: CAUTIVERIO, SUBVERSIÓN Y SENTIDO DE SÍ EN LAS CARTAS DE AMOR DE NAHUI OLIN
No full textEl objetivo de este ensayo es analizar parte de la correspondencia amorosa de Nahui Olin, artista y escritora que surge en el periodo de la posrevolución mexicana, época donde predominaba un discurso ambivalente con respecto a la mujer y su rol. Sostengo que Nahui Olin lleva al extremo varias convenciones de la carta de amor, no solo textuales sino también genérico-sexuales en lo relativo al rol pasivo que debe tener la mujer en la unión sexual. Hay en Nahui Olin un claro sentido de sí y de su situación como mujer dentro de esa visión ambigua, la que constituye un cautiverio del cual se libera creativamente mediante el ejercicio discursivo de expresar sin límites su yo íntimo; de manera que las cartas vienen a ser una extensión de sí misma y de su sexualidad.
Abstract:
The aim of this essay is to analyze part of the love correspondence of Nahui Olin, an artist and writer that emerged in the post-revolution Mexican period, a time when an ambivalent discourse regarding women and their role prevailed. I maintain that Nahui Olin takes to the extreme several conventions of the love letter, not only textual but also generic-sexual in relation to the passive role that women should have in the sexual union. There is in Nahui Olin a clear sense of herself and her situation as a woman within that ambiguous vision, which constitutes a captivity from which she creatively frees herself through the discursive exercise of expressing her intimate self without limits; so that the letters become an extension of herself and her sexuality
13.- Perfilamiento interpersonal de las coletillas modales

Este artículo tiene como propósito central presentar una descripción del funcionamiento de la coletilla modal en inglés, portugués de Brasil, francés, alemán y español chileno, desde
una perspectiva sistémico funcional del lenguaje y en el contexto de las funciones de habla y del sistema de MODO en el estrato lexicogramatical. Los principales hallazgos evidencian
que el comportamiento de las coletillas modales es similar a través de las lenguas, ya que todas ellas muestran una entonación ascendente y ocupan la posición final en las cláusulas.
Por contrapartida, en inglés, portugués, francés y español las coletillas se insertan en cláusulas declarativas e imperativas, mientras que en francés son localizadas en cláusulas interrogativas. Por otra parte, el inglés y el portugués de Brasil repiten el elemento modal de la cláusula anfitriona, en tanto que en las restantes lenguas la coletilla no muestra el elemento negociador.
Abstract:
This article has as a main purpose to present a description of the functioning of tagquestions in English, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German and Chilean Spanish, from a systemic functional approach to language and in the context of the speech functions and the system of MOOD in the lexicogramatical strata. The main findings give evidence that the behavior of mood tags is similar across the languages, because they all show rising intonation and take the final position in the clauses. However, in languages like English, Portuguese, French and Spanish mood tags are inserted in the declarative and imperative clauses, while in French they are located in the interrogative clauses. On the other hand, languages like English and Portuguese repeat the modal element of the host clause, while mood tags in the other languages do not show the negotiator element
