STRATEGI DAKWAH KULTURAL DALAM TRADISI MUJAHADAH: MENYEBARKAN PESAN ISLAM MELALUI PRAKTIK SPIRITUAL
The essence of da\u27wah is essentially an effort to invite and return humans to an integral existence, and is an effort to translate divine values into pious deeds in real life. Between the current ideas about da\u27wah and reality, there is a gap that needs to be bridged. First, the gap stems from the way of explaining the meaning of da\u27wah which has influenced the tradition of da\u27wah so far. Second, the gap caused by the absence of a scientific framework regarding da\u27wah that is able to provide an explanation of Islamic da\u27wah, which is a gap between theory and practice. On the one hand, cultural da\u27wah has a principle that emphasizes the cultural Islamic approach, namely an approach that seeks to review the formal doctrinal link between Islam and politics or Islam and the state. The emphasis on the cultural da\u27wah movement tends to question the truth of the statement which says that the da\u27wah movement is seen as not really fighting for Islam. The relationship between Islam and politics or Islam and the state is included in the area of ijtihadiyah thought, which is not a problem for Muslims when the caliphate system still persists in the Islamic world
Exploring Sentence Structure and Grammatical Consistency in AI-Written Essays
Artificial intelligence (AI) systems, including tools like ChatGPT and Gemini. Have become increasingly prevalent in the generation of written academic texts, particularly essays. This research focused on sentence sructure and grammatical consistency in essays generated by artifical intelligence (AI) in academic English. The research used descriptive qualitative method to describe how AI constructed sentences and applied grammatical rules in essays. Interrogating the Legal Foundations of Digital Transformation: Balancing Economic Growth and Social Welfare in the Era of Disruption
Digital transformation has emerged as a crucial component of Indonesia’s national development strategy, recognized for its capacity to stimulate economic growth, enhance public services, and improve social welfare. However, the current approach tends to be technocratic, often overlooking vital legal, institutional, and justice-related issues. This study critically assesses examine the adequacy and coherence of Indonesia’s legal and institutional frameworks governing digital transformation to promote inclusive economic growth and social welfare. It identifies regulatory and institutional gaps and recommends strategic reforms for equitable digital governance. Employing a socio-legal methodology that merges doctrinal legal analysis with interdisciplinary insights from political science, economics, and sociology, this research evaluates key legal instruments and institutional practices, alongside global best practices, to determine Indonesia’s readiness for digital transformation. The findings indicate that Indonesia’s progress is hampered by fragmented and reactive legal frameworks, notable regulatory gaps—particularly in data protection and labor rights within the gig economy—and weak institutional coordination. These issues lead to policy inconsistencies, implementation delays, and the exacerbation of existing inequalities. To address these challenges, this study advocates for a systemic reconfiguration of digital governance grounded in democratic principles and inclusive participation. It proposes six strategic pillars: infrastructure, digital human capital, business climate and cybersecurity, research and innovation, funding and investment, and robust legal-regulatory frameworks, to ensure a just and sustainable digital transition
Position of the Fatwa of the National Sharia Council in the Fiqh Development of Sharia Financial Institutions
The purpose of the study was to further see the fatwa position of the National Sharia’ah Council in the development of Islamic economic and business fiqh in Indonesia as well as the implementation of duties and functions of the National Sharia’ah Council. Under the applicable statutory regulations, particularly Act No. 21 Year 2008 on Sharia Banking, there is a duty for regulators in this case the Bank of Indonesia to have the charge material contained in the Fatwa MUI absorbable and transformed in formulating Sharia’ah principles in the economic and financial fields of Shariaa into payload material of the Legislation Regulations which have legal and binding powers in general. Fatwa with classical definitions undergoes development and strengthening of positions in institutionalized and collective contemporary fatwa in Indonesia. Both issued by the MUI Fatwa Commission on religious and societal matters in general, as well as those issued by the DSN-MUI or fatwa on Sharia economic issues, particularly the Sharia Economic Institution. The fatwa issued by the MUI Fatwa Commission became a generally applicable referral as well as binding to the ummah of Islam in Indonesia, particularly morally. The DSN fatwa is becoming a binding reference to the existing Shariaa’ah financial institutions (LKS) in the homeland, as well as binding to communities interacting with the LKS
The Effect of Applying the Peer Tutoring Model on Fifth-Grade Students’ Ability to Solve Mathematical Word Problems
Mathematics is one of the sciences that plays an important role in human life. Through learning mathematics, students are trained to think critically, logically, and systematically, as well as to solve the problems they encounter in daily life—many of which are presented in the form of mathematical word problems. Based on initial observations, students\u27 ability to solve mathematical word problems is still relatively low. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve this ability, one of which is through the implementation of the peer tutoring learning model. This research used a quasi-experimental method with a pretest–posttest control group design. The population in this study consisted of fifth-grade students from public elementary schools in the Darussalam sub-district. The sample included 25 students from Ujong Kuta Public Elementary School and 7 students from Tanjung Selamat Public Elementary School. Data were collected using a mathematical word problem-solving ability test. Data analysis was conducted using the Independent Samples t-test via the SPSS application. Based on the analysis of the posttest scores, the Sig. (2-tailed) value was 0.003, which is less than 0.05. These results indicate that the peer tutoring model had a significant effect on the ability of fifth-grade students to solve mathematical word problems
Implikasi PPAT sebagai Pejabat Umum dalam Kasus Sertifikat Ganda pada Pengumpulan Data Sporadik
Duplicate land certificates are a recurring issue in land management in Indonesia and have the potential to trigger serious agrarian conflicts. The Land Deed Making Official (PPAT) plays a critical role in data collection and certificate verification, particularly in the process of drafting deeds for sale and purchase, grants, or other transfers of land rights. However, in several cases, negligence or lack of due diligence by the PPAT during sporadic data collection has led to the issuance of duplicate land certificates. This article examines the legal implications, responsibilities, and preventive measures that must be undertaken by PPATs in addressing duplicate certificate cases, especially those arising from sporadic data collection. Research findings indicate that the primary cause of duplicate certificates is inaccurate data during the sporadic data collection process, compounded by weak oversight and verification by the PPAT. A PPAT may be held legally accountable if proven negligent in the execution of their duties. The legal consequences for a PPAT may include administrative sanctions, liability for damages, and, in certain cases, criminal penalties. Therefore, improving the accuracy and transparency of data collection, along with strict law enforcement, is essential to prevent the recurrence of duplicate land certificate cases in the future
The Impact of the Family Values Crisis on Children’s Right to Education: An Islamic Legal Principles Perspective in Addressing the Challenges of the Modern Era
The crisis of values within the family has become one of the primary challenges in fulfilling children\u27s educational rights, particularly in shaping the character of early childhood in the midst of modernization, globalization, and technological advancement. This article aims to analyze the impact of the family values crisis on children\u27s right to education and to examine the solutions offered by Islamic legal principles in addressing this phenomenon. This study employs a library research method, drawing on various sources such as books and relevant journal articles. The findings reveal that the family values crisis significantly affects the fulfillment of children\u27s educational rights, especially in terms of moral and spiritual development. Islamic legal principles (fiqh al-munakahat) provide comprehensive guidance for building a strong family structure through the concepts of parental responsibility, moral education, and value-based upbringing grounded in Qur’anic teachings. This article recommends strengthening the role of the family as the primary center of education, underpinned by robust Islamic legal principles, as a solution to the challenges posed by the modern era
Corpus Development and NER Model for Identification of Legal Entities (Articles, Laws, and Sanctions) in Corruption Court Decisions in Indonesia
This study aims to develop an annotated corpus and a deep learning-based Named Entity Recognition (NER) model to identify legal entities in Indonesian corruption court rulings. The corpus was constructed from 450 Supreme Court documents related to the Anti-Corruption Laws (Laws No. 31/1999), collected via web scraping, with semi-automatic annotation (regex) and validation by legal experts. A total of 12,000 entities (Article, Laws, Sanctions) were tagged in IOB format, creating the first specialized dataset for Indonesian corruption laws. The NER model combines the IndoBERT (pre-trained language model) architecture with a CRF layer, fine-tuned to handle legal text complexities such as hierarchical article references (paragraphs, clauses) and amended laws citations (jo.). Evaluation using 10-fold cross-validation revealed that the model achieved an F1-score of 92.3%, outperforming standalone CRF (85.1%) and BiLSTM+CRF (88.7%), particularly in detecting ARTICLE entities (F1: 93.8%). Error analysis highlighted challenges in recognizing SANCTIONS entities (F1: 87.4%) due to sentence structure variability and conjunctions. The model’s implementation could accelerate judicial decision analysis, identify violation patterns, and support sanctions recommendation systems for laws enforcement. This research also provides legal entity annotation guidelines adaptable to other legal domains. Future work should expand to other laws (e.g., ITE Laws, Criminal Code) via transfer learning and integrate knowledge graphs to enhance entity relation detection
KAJIAN CITRA KOTA SEBAGAI BRANDING KAWASAN CAGAR BUDAYA KOTA TEGAL DALAM MENDUKUNG PEMBANGUNAN BERKELANJUTAN
The development of a city can affect acculturation and agglomeration. A city that has characteristics as its own identity related to the city\u27s image. According to Kevin Lynch\u27s Theory, there are five elements that form a city\u27s image, including landmarks, paths, districts, nodes, and edges. Based on the Tegal City Regional Regulation in the Regional Spatial Plan and the Tegal Mayor\u27s Regulation in the Detailed Spatial Plan, it is stated that there are historical buildings, one of which is the cultural heritage area of West Tegal District with quite massive urban activities. However, the West Tegal cultural heritage area is starting to lose its identity, as seen from the destroyed buildings that are not in harmony with their original structure and form. So the purpose of this study is to examine the elements of city image to carry out branding of the Tegal City Cultural Heritage Area in supporting sustainable development. The preparation of the article uses a qualitative descriptive method by relying on information from literature and observation. The results of the study show that there are three components that influence the image of the area, including identity as a potential for tourism development; the existence of a spatial structure; and meaning as a perceived potential. Recommendations in conservation conservation areas are to improve public facility systems such as drainage and green open spaces, encourage community participation to become part of local conservation, and make cultural heritage areas part of city life through culture-based tourism
AKULTURASI GAYA ARSITEKTUR KOLONIAL DAN CINA PADA BANGUNAN ROTI MRUYUNG, KOTA LAMA BANYUMAS
This study explores the architectural acculturation between Colonial and traditional Chinese styles as manifested in the Roti Mruyung building in Banyumas, a historic structure that reflects the intersection of two distinct cultural identities. This architectural fusion represents the socio-cultural dynamics of the colonial era and the interaction between the Chinese ethnic community and the local population. A descriptive qualitative method was employed to identify and analyze the architectural elements that demonstrate this stylistic blend. Data were collected through direct observation of the building\u27s physical features, interviews with the building\u27s owners and local cultural figures, and a literature review of relevant sources on colonial and Chinese architecture. The findings reveal that Roti Mruyung incorporates colonial architectural elements such as symmetrical layouts, large openings, and brick construction, which are harmoniously combined with traditional Chinese features, including ornaments, and other interior elements. This research highlights that architectural acculturation in the Roti Mruyung building is not only aesthetic but also rich in historical significance and cultural identity, underscoring the importance of its preservation
