Background: In the context of understanding the adaptation to divorce-separation, the relevance of forgiveness has been highlighted, because it is related to a better post-separation adaptation to this life transition. Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship between attachment and forgiveness towards the former partner in divorced-separated people, and secondarily, to examine the moderating role of sex in this association. Method: A sample of 490 participants was evaluated, who completed self-report measures of romantic attachment and forgiveness of the former partner. Results: The analyzes, performed using structural equation modeling, indicate that only attachment anxiety was associated with lower levels of forgiveness to the former partner, but not attachment avoidance, and this relationship operated in a similar way for men and women. Conclusions: Unlike the studies carried out in ongoing relationships regarding the link attachment-forgiveness, our results expand previous evidence, showing that in the specific context of divorce-separation, anxiety but not avoidance of attachment would be associated with lower levels of forgiveness.
On stability functional differential equation with delay variable by using fixed point-theory
I will explain how to use the Banach fixed point theory in the asymptotic stability of nonlinear differential equations; I will obtain appropriate generalizations and strong forms of some of the results in [11].
Specifically, in the above-mentioned paper, asymptotic stability is achieved, while I will discuss how to achieve a asymptotic stability as well as stability by making a simple observation, also circulate the previous asymptotic stability results to the Functional Differential Equations systems, not only on the scalar Functional Differential Equations as is the case in the mentioned paper.
This raises the question of how much this particular method can afford us, and what are the limitations of this technique. I will refer to the important limitation of the fixed point theory on the uniqueness of solutions only within the complete metric space area where they are not specified. If the metric space onto which the contraction mapping principle is applied is very small, i do not get a satisfactory result. I will discuss this in detail below
Strongly convexity on fractal sets and some inequalities
We introduce a generalization of the concept of a strongly convex function on a fractal set, study some algebraic properties and establish Jensen-type and Hermite-Hadamard-type inequalities
On the pseudospectrum preservers
Let X and Y be two complex Banach spaces, and let B(X) denotes the algebra of all bounded linear operators on X. We characterize additive maps from B(X) onto B(Y ) compressing the pseudospectrum subsets Δ ϵ(.), where Δ ϵ(.) stands for any one of the spectral functions σ ϵ(.), σ l ϵ(.) and σ r ϵ (.) for some ϵ > 0. We also characterize the additive (resp. non-linear) maps from B(X) onto B(Y) preserving the pseudospectrum σ ϵ(.) of generalized products of operators for some ϵ > 0 (resp. for every ϵ > 0)
Bioperation approach to Przemski's decomposition theorems
Przemski introduced D(α, s)-set, D(α, b)-set, D(p, sp)-set, D(p, b)- set and D(b, sp)-set to obtain several decompositions of continuity. In this paper, we extend these sets via bioperation and obtain new decompositions of continuity.
Nondifferentiable higher-order duality theorems for new type of dual model under generalized functions
The motivation behind this article is to study a class of nondifferentiable multiobjective fractional programming problem in which each component of objective functions contains a term including the support function of a compact convex set. For a differentiable function, we consider a class of higher order pseudo quasi/ strictly pseudo quasi/weak strictly pseudo quasi- (V, ρ, d)-type-I convex functions. Under these the higher-order pseudo quasi/ strictly pseudo quasi/weak strictly pseudo quasi- (V, ρ, d)-type-I convexity assumptions, we prove the higher-order weak, higher-order strong and higher-order converse duality theorems related to efficient solution
Inverse eigenproblems for real symmetric doubly arrowhead matrices
We consider two inverse eigenproblems for a real symmetric doubly arrowhead matrix An(q) , which consist of constructing An(q) from two special kinds of spectra information. These problems were introduced in [11], where the principal results are sufficient conditions for both problems to have a real solution. In this paper, we improve such conditions, in the sense that one of the given conditions implies the rest. The results are constructive and generate one numerical procedure to construct the solution matrix An(q)
Molecular descriptors of certain OTIS interconnection networks
Network theory as an important role in the field of electronic and electrical engineering, for example, in signal processing, networking, communication theory, etc. The branch of mathematics known as Graph theory found remarkable applications in this area of study. A topological index (TI) is a real number attached with graph networks and correlates the chemical networks with many physical and chemical properties and chemical reactivity. The Optical Transpose Interconnection System (OTIS) network has received considerable attention in recent years and has a special place among real world architectures for parallel and distributed systems. In this report, we compute redefined first, second and third Zagreb indices of OTIS swapped and OTIS biswapped networks. We also compute some Zagreb polynomials of understudy Networks
Irregularity indices for line graph of Dutch windmill graph
Among topological descriptors topological indices are significant and they have a conspicuous role in chemistry. Dutch Windmill graph Dxy can be obtain by taking x copies of cycle Cy with a vertex in common. In this paper, we will compute some irregularity índices that are useful in quantitative structure activity relationship for Line Graph of Dutch Windmill graph
