Some separation axioms in L-topological spaces
In this paper, under the idea of L-T0 or sub-T0,we propose a set of new separation axioms in L-topological spaces, namely sub-separation axioms. And some of their properties are studied. In addition, the relation between the sub-separation axioms defined in the paper and other separation axioms is discussed. The results show that the sub-separation axioms in this paper are weaker than other separation axioms that had appeared in literature
On the spectral radius of weighted digraphs
We consider the weighted digraphs in which the arc weights are positive definite matrices. We obtain some upper bounds for the spectral radius of these digraphs and characterize the digraphs achieving the upper bounds. Some known upper bounds are then special cases of our results
Double lacunary sequence spaces of double interval numbers
In this paper we introduce the concepts of double lacunary strongly convergence and double lacunary statistical convergence of double interval numbers. We prove some inclusion relations and study some of their properties
On the Gauss-Newton Method for Solving Equations
We use a combination of the center—Lipschitz condition with the Lipschitz condition condition on the Frechet—derivative of the operator involved to provide a semilocal convergence analysis ofthe Gauss-Newton method to a solution ofan equation. Using more precise estimates on the distances involved, under weaker hypotheses, and under the same computational cost, we provide an analysis of the Gauss— Newton method with the following advantages over the corresponding results in [8]: larger convergence domain; finer error estimates on the distances involved, and an at least as precise information on the location ofthe solution
An Upper Bound on The Largest Signless Laplacian of an Odd Unicyclic Graph
We derive an upper bound on the largest signless Laplacian eigenvalue of an odd unicyclic graph. The bound is given in terms of the largest vertex degree and the largest height of the trees obtained removing the edges of the unique cycle in the graph
Optimal replacement in a system of n-machines with random horizon
This paper considers a system consisting of independently operating n-machines, which follows a deterioration processes with an associated cost function. It is assumed that the system is observed at discrete time and the objective function is the total expected cost. Also, it is considered that the horizon of the problem is random. For this problem, a replacement optimal policy that minimize the operation cost of the system is provided. Besides, a numerical example through a program in Matlab is presented
Uniform Convergence and the Hahn-Schur Theorem
Let E be a vector space, F aset, G be a locally convex space, b : E X F → G a map such that b(·,y): E → G is linear for every y ∈ F; we write b(x, y) = x · y for brevity. Let λ be a scalar sequence space and w(E,F) the weakest topology on E such that the linear maps b(·,y): E → G are continuous for all y ∈ F .A series ΣjXj in X is λ multiplier convergent with respect to w(E, F) if for each t = {tj} ∈ λ ,the series Σj=1∞ tjxj is w(E,F) convergent in E. For multiplier spaces λ satisfying certain gliding hump properties we establish the following uniform convergence result: Suppose Σjxij is λ multiplier convergent with respect to w(E, F) for each i ∈ N and for each t ∈ λ the set {Σj=1∞ tjxij : i} is uniformly bounded on any subset B C F such that {x · y : y ∈ B} is bounded for x ∈ E.Then for each t ∈ λ the series Σj=1∞ tjxij · y converge uniformly for y ∈ B,i ∈ N. This result is used to prove a Hahn-Schur Theorem for series such that limi Σj=1∞ tjxij · y exists for t ∈ λ,y ∈ F. Applications of these abstract results are given to spaces of linear operators, vector spaces in duality, spaces of continuous functions and spaces with Schauder bases
Generalized difference entire sequences spaces
In this paper we introduce difference entire sequence spaces and difference analytic sequence spaces defined by a sequence of modulus function F = (ƒk) and study some topological properties and some inclusion relations between these spaces. We also make an effort to study some properties and inclusion relation between the spaces ΓF(∆sm , u, p, q, ||., ···, .||) and Λf(∆sm, u, p, q, ||., ·· ·, .||)
Compact Composition Operators on Bloch Type Spaces
In this paper we characterize continuity and compactness of composition operators Cø; mapping the α-Bloch space into the μ-Bloch space, where μ is a weight defined on the unit disk D, in term of certain expression that involve the n-power of the symbol φ
This analytical/relational study is based on statements made by university students of primary education. It reconstructs their pre-conceptions about quality and equity in education. The qualitative methodology included both individual and group interviews. The results highlight that quality and equity in education are closely linked, and that this link has an impact upon the students’ integral formation. Teacher training would be deficient if it failed to meet the current demands of the national and regional contexts: if students are not taught teaching strategies, they are urged to situate themselves in a constructive approach, despite the fact that classes they have taken used almost exclusively techniques which are inconsistent with this approach. Given this scenario, it is the vocation that mobilizes students to supplement their training, based on the commitment they have to their social role
