About the solutions of linear control systems on Lie groups

    No full text
In this paper we prove in details the completeness of the solutions of a linear control system on a connected Lie group. On the other hand, we summarize some results showing how to compute the solutions. Some examples are given

¿Qué tanto afecta la fama y el éxito sobre la esperanza de vida? Caso de estudio: Ganadores y nominados a los premios Oscar

Life expectancy (LE) is an indicator of the quality of life that a group has, as it relates to its economic and social development. However, effects of fame and success on LE are difficult to assess. Objective: To analyze a group of celebrities, winners and nominees to the Cinema Academy Award. Method: The study included a population of 1310, from which 533 dead people in the categories of main and supporting actors and directors were selected. These 533 were contrasted with national population statistics of the United States from 1860 to 2016. Results: Both populations register similar causes of death; however, celebrities decrease their LE due to the excess of drug abuse and accidents in their life styles. Conclusion: Fame and the stress of keeping a high social status may decrease LE of those who adopt life styles with higher risks and social pressure.

On some properties of a class of polynomials suggested by mittal

    No full text
The object of this paper is to establish some generating relations by using operational formulae for a class of polynomials defined by Mittal. We have also derived finite summation formulae for (1.6) by employing operational techniques. In the end several special cases are discussed

A note on the fundamental group of a one-point extension

    No full text
In this note, we consider an algebra A which is a one-point extension of another algebra B and we study the morphism of fundamental groups induced by the inclusion of (the bound quiver of ) B into (that of ) A. Our main result says that the cokernel of this morphism is a free group and we prove some consequences from this fact

    On characterization of riemannian manifolds

    No full text
This survey, present some results about characterization of Riemannian manifolds by using notions of convexity. The first part deals with immersed manifolds and the second part gives a characterization for the Euclidean space and for the Euclidean sphere

    Sharp inequalities for factorial n

Let n be a positive integer. We provewith the best possible constantsThis refines and extends a result of Sandor and Debnath, who proved that the double inequality holds with a = 0 and ß = 1

    A new notion of SP-compact L-fuzzy sets

    No full text
A new notion of SP-compactness is introduced in L-topological spaces by means of semi-preopen L-sets and their inequality, where L is a complete De Morgan algebra. This new notion does not depend on the structure of basis lattice L and L does not require any distributivity. This new notion implies semicompactness, hence it also implies compactness. This new notion is a good extension and it has many characterizations if L is completely distributive De Morgan algebra

    Diffeological spaces

    No full text
We define diffeological spaces and give some examples. The diffeological category contains the category of smooth manifolds as full subcategory. We prove that diffeological spaces and smooth maps form a cartesian closed category. The concepts of differential form and tangent functor are extended from smooth manifolds to diffeological spaces

Representation theorems of linear operators on p-adic function spaces

    No full text
Let X be a 0-dimensional Hausforff topological space, E, F nonarchimedean Banach spaces and Cb(X, E) the space of all continuous E-valued functions on X provided with two strict topologies. In this paper we show that every F-valued linear operator which is strictly continuous can be represented by a certain L(E, F )-valued measure defined on the ring of all clopen subsets of X
