The political activity analysis in social media during the first electoral round of the 2021 general elections in Peru; [Analisis de la actividad política en redes sociales durante la primera vuelta electoral de las elecciones generales 2021 en Peru]
The 2021 general elections in Peru took place in an unusual context generated by many factors. In addition to taking place within the bicentennial year of the country's independence and having eighteen presidential candidates, the electoral process was marked by a deep political crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic. In this context, the present research aims to understand how the political communication of the candidates and their political parties was managed on social media during the first round of these presidential elections. To find this, a metric analysis is applied oriented to the presence and activity of candidates and political parties in social media. The findings reveal a high level of presence of candidates and political parties, a clear phenomenon of personalization in political communication and the concentration of posts, especially in Facebook and Twitter. © 2022 University of Piura.

Importance of ICT for Perspective and Strategy in Education
ICT-enhanced educational tools and approaches offer a new range of options and opportunities to improve the efficiency of teaching and learning to boost individual student performance and thus, in many cases, avoid the challenge of exclusion and poverty related to skills deficit. The authors suggest that digital games, online applications, tablet use, MOOCs, and micro courses can boost student exposure to specific course material, thus assisting in the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and attitudes
Cost-benefit analysis, investments, and public-private partnerships. The La Muralla Dam Case
This is part of a case series. In this second part of the La Muralla Dam case, a methodology is used to carry out a cost-benefit analysis to help support decision-making regarding whether the infrastructure project should be carried out or not. This proposal is particularly relevant in a lower-income country with limited access to data on the losses experienced due to destructive natural phenomena. This case focuses on the factors that impact the region where the project will be carried out and also the economic implications the project will have for the country. Using information from these two phases, it is possible to estimate the costs and benefits of the La Muralla project. As mentioned, access to data is limited, and so it has been necessary to create a methodology using information about Omagua and other, similar countries that have already started building similar infrastructure, as their results can help quantify the potential impacts of the La Muralla project. As result of discussion, it is expected that students will be more familiarized with the factors that can be taken into consideration for the cost-benefit analysis. Additionally, students will have had the chance to the calculate the cost-benefit analysis and will be able to provide a concrete response regarding the viability of the La Muralla project
Method to Increase Virtual Interactivity, through Virtual Reality Technology, Aplied to Engieering Students
Information and communication technologies are changing the paradigms in the development of activities and ways of learning, one of these changes in the way of performing academic activities, where today there are many resources on the network available for review, in the case of engineering students, we can indicate as an example activities related to the practice of programming languages, where it is required to visualize the programmed activities, at the same time it is required to analyze programming language manuals, also you can view videos about applications, and also have the language development interface and finally the console where you can view the results in the execution, these requirements make it possible that a single monitor does not meet the requirements needed, in this research work, we present a method to have multiple monitors each with a different task that can meet the technical requirements of engineering students, these features are achieved through the use of virtual reality glasses Oculus Gest II with a software application Immersed, with these tools we obtain as a result the display on the glasses of multiple monitors configured in each of them to the needs of the student, We indicate in the part of the materials and methods the technical requirements of hardware and software as well as the procedures for the installation and configuration where it is necessary a computer with internet access, in the results we present a demonstration of how to use the method and an example of the exploitation of the resources that these tools provide us added to the access that can be had from mobile devices to replicate what is being observed in the virtual reality glasses
Urban Tourism Perception and Recommendation in Mexico City and Lima
Mexico City and Lima both have great cultural and historical value as they developed close to major pre-Columbian civilizations. When comparing their urban attractiveness factors, they present differences and similarities that need to be understood at a theoretical level. The study has practical implications as tourism officials and managers in each of these two cities can draw inspiration from the best practices of the other city. The method is quantitative, and the exploratory factorial analysis technique was used to reduce the variables in a group of factors. The results indicate that the different aspects of the cities’ tourism attractiveness can be categorized into four factors: the nucleus, the tourist ecosystem, MICE & shows, and related services. A comparison of the two cities’ Kruskal–Wallis test scores shows significant differences in terms of three variables: monuments and historic sites, museums and art galleries, and shops and commercial services
CSR in Education on Business Confidence: Mediation Effect of Corporate Reputation in the Peruvian Banking Sector
This paper analyzes the direct influence of CSR educational actions on business confidence in the context of the banking sector in an emerging country (Peru). A mediating effect through corporate reputation is also analyzed. To test the hypotheses presented in this paper, we have sent a survey to 1745 executive officers of the branches of the banks. These key individuals were selected as the target population of the study because the authors sought to study the management’s perception of CSR and business confidence. From the data obtained from the survey, it has been tested that educational CSR actions in Peruvian banks directly influences the perception of business confidence. Secondly, this relationship is partially mediated by the effect of CSR educational actions on corporate reputation
