    An analysis of light buyer's economic order model under trade credit

    [[abstract]]Buyer's inventory policy is related to the credit line and credit period offered by the supplier. A mathematical inventory model of a light buyer is formulated under trade credit and its optimal solution can be determined by five financial indices. On comparing these five financial indices in size, the economic order quantity can be decided. Financial managers can make reference to this property when they make the investment and financing policies of working capital

    [[abstract]]A maximal profit flow model for reaching the optimal design of multiple-production-line system undergoing the limitation of obtainable resources is presented in this paper. This model is treated as an extensive maximal flow problem, and an efficient step-by-step algorithm to solve this model is developed. In addition, the concept that the operation cost of a machine does not include only idle or breakdown situations but the maintenance cost also needs consideration is described in this study to extend the applicability. This paper provides a new and practical tool for the production line designer with profound insights

    [[abstract]]傳統報童問題祇考慮某一特定時點的購貨量,除了忽略購貨時點是可選擇的情況外,同時也忽略了不同購貨時點所預測之需求量的變異數亦會不同的狀況。當供應商利用價格折扣誘使購貨商提早購貨時,購貨商則須承擔預測偏差成本以換取價格折扣利益;但購貨商越早購貨,就必需愈早預測未來需求量而使其預測偏差越大。當購貨商平均缺貨水準受限於缺貨率上限時,面對一個具有品質管制機制的擴充報童問題,如何同時決定其最適購貨時點與最適購貨量,以使得其成本最小,為本文主要研究內容。本文研究成果可應用於某些期貨商品的購買決策問題

    [[abstract]]Corporations, salespeople and consumers constitute a marketing system. For a corporation emphasizes on the effect of marketing, deciding price and compensation is an important task, because such a decision involves the profits of all members in the whole marketing system, and it also influences the operation of a firm, directly or indirectly. This paper tries to challenge the following tasks: to motivate salesman’s performance and maximizes the profit of a firm on condition that a firm pays the reward to salespeople by the pieces when it faces heterogeneous salesforce. First, we let the price and the compensation rate be decision variables, and establish a mathematical model to find an optimal solution. Then, we find many interesting properties from the features of the optimal solution and make sensitivity analysis of parameters to the optimal solution

    [[abstract]]The purpose of this paper is to construct a dynamic optimal model of sustainable development. Under the consideration of environmental protection and economic growth, the objectives of the model are to maximize the total present utility value of current and future generations. We know that the capital is a necessary factor to develop the economy, so we consider that the capital is the only input factor for production function. To internalize the externality, the environmental protection policy is to collect the pollution tax not only from producer but also from consumer in order to be in accordance with the spirit of social justice. And the balanced budget should make the pollution tax revenue be adequate to provide the government pollution control and public expenditure. This paper applies the dynamic optimization theory to construct the model, we have descriptions of the model and also have some inferences as conclusions

    Determining employee operation hours in general hospital with expected service level

    [[abstract]]This paper proposes a method for meeting the objective of the service level to minimize the total costs of employee operation hours for medical care items. The patient arrival rate, the employee operation hours per medical care item, waiting time, service time, and the total time spent for a patient in the general hospital are considered simultaneously in this study. In addition, an indicator, which is relative service efficiency, is introduced in this paper to measure the service level. This indicator doesn't concern the absolutely performance result, but concerns the relative service efficiency of a general hospital. Thus, a fairer evaluation of the service level is established. Moreover, this paper also constructs a Cost Function (CF) Model for searching the optimal employee operation hour input in each medical care item considering the expected service level, The Lagrange Method for reaching the optimal solution is applied. Also, the sensitivity analysis for the optimal solution and a numerical example are followed

    Addressing the advantages of using ensemble probabilistic models in Estimation of Distribution Algorithms for scheduling problems

    [[abstract]]Estimation of Distribution Algorithms (EDAs) have recently been recognized as a prominent alternative to traditional evolutionary algorithms due to their increasing popularity. The core of EDAs is a probabilistic model which directly impacts performance of the algorithm. Previous EDAs have used a univariate, bi-variate, or multi-variable probabilistic model each time. However, application of only one probabilistic model may not represent the parental distribution well. This paper advocates the importance of using ensemble probabilistic models in EDAs. We combine the univariate probabilistic model with the bi-variate probabilistic model which learns different population characteristics. To explain how to employ the two probabilistic models, we proposed the Ensemble Self-Guided Genetic Algorithm (eSGGA). The extensive computation results on two NP-hard scheduling problems indicate the advantages of adopting two probabilistic models. Most important of all, eSGGA can avoid the computation effort overhead when compared with other EDAs employing two models. As a result, this paper might point out a next generation approach for EDAs

    [[abstract]]敘事治療主要的治療概念深受後現代與社會建構論影響,認為個體會將主流文化、知識、社會價值內化成自我認同以約束自我,因此假定個體會有困擾是因為主流文化的壓制。敘事治療協助個體跳脫壓制,活出內心的渴望,成為想要的自己。個體可以透過敘說自身的生命故事來發掘被忽略的支線故事,以此開展另一種嶄新生命故事選擇的可能性。從過往參與沙盤團體的經驗顯示,領導者會引導學員將困擾在沙盤上具象化,讓研究者有所啟發,認為表達性藝術媒材—沙盤的投射與敘事的問題外化觀點有相似之處。因此,本研究嘗試以敘事的精神結合沙盤媒材,設計一個六小時工作坊方案。本文將陸續說明敘事治療的概念、沙盤媒材的概念、敘事治療和沙盤媒材的對話與應用、再以敘事治療為架構設計出結合沙盤的人我關係探索工作坊,以此初探性的行動研究作為諮商專業實務的參考,最後再提出領導者的省思
