[[alternative]]Wandering among the White Clouds--A Self-Narrative Study of the Body, Mind, and Soul Experience of Osho's Meditation Workshop
[[abstract]] This study adopts a self narrative method of qualitative research, emphasizing the subjectivity of personal experience. Through participating in the Osho Meditation Workshop, it attempts to recount the most memorable courses for researchers, describe the shaking of individual experiences, and use physical, psychological, and spiritual as textual media to retell the researcher's personal life journey. Researchers have found through the results that the courses of the Osho Meditation Workshop can explore the changes in their life process from the aspects of energy activation in witchcraft therapy, dynamic meditation, energy flow in the Kantaniri, as well as physical connectivity in dance therapy and auditory activation in sound therapy. These are the most impressive courses that have left a deep impression on researchers, and can be used as texts to explore the changes in their life process: (1) In the experience of the Osho Meditation Workshop, each teacher exudes a calm quality of being a meditator, emphasizing the importance of being present and living in the present. Researchers expand their sensory system and start learning and doing through the courses of the Osho Meditation Workshop with a sense of tranquility. (2) The most profound course that influences researchers is the changes in cognition and personality, to the extent that the experiential states of behavior and emotions are reinterpreted through physical, psychological, and spiritual transformations, reinterpreting the researcher's life story process. Researchers have found that meditation, combined with the healing courses of the Osho Meditation Workshop, still has a profound impact on inner change, as well as how to face self challenges or breakthroughs in life. Through Osho's emphasis on living in the present, dynamic meditation that integrates with life, and self-awareness in the face of reality, it is highly automated and self initiated. It is similar to the fuzzy zone between the real face and the body, with a connection close to the soul. Just waiting for your body and mind to merge, that internal coordination will be closer to the connection of the soul, in order to achieve the integration and healing of the body and mind. That kind of awareness ability is not passive self-awareness after being taught, so when facing reality, the touch between the mind and the inner self will be clearly distinguished, which can better help self growth and connect to the earliest soul intention in the heart. Therefore, this dynamic meditation that integrates into life, combined with the healing courses of the Oshu workshop, is also the most effective way of self growth, especially connecting to the soul intention of nature. It will be the best helper in the process of self growth

[[abstract]] In recent years, consumer behavior has undergone significant changes, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, where online shopping has become the primary mode of consumption. Companies have leveraged big data algorithms to collect user behavior data, enabling precise advertising and content recommendations. However, this has also led to the echo chamber effect, limiting the diversity of information received by consumers and making them susceptible to biased information. Therefore, this study aims to explore issues related to product involvement, online word-of-mouth , brand resonance, herd behavior, and information trustworthiness. The questionnaire was distributed via Google Forms to individuals who have purchased smart home appliances. A total of 307 questionnaires were distributed, with 66 invalid questionnaires excluded, resulting in 241 valid responses, yielding a valid response rate of approximately 79%. The empirical results indicate that (1) product involvement has a significant positive impact on online word-of-mouth, (2) product involvement has a significant positive impact on brand resonance, (3) online word-of-mouth has a significant positive impact on brand resonance, (4) online word-of-mouth partially mediates the relationship between product involvement and brand resonance, (5) behavior does not moderate the relationship between online word-of-mouth and brand resonance, and (6) information trustworthiness does not moderate the relationship between online word-of-mouth and brand resonance
[[alternative]]Physiological and Psychological Effects of Singing Bowl on COVID-19 Recovered Patients
[[abstract]] Background and Purpose: Long COVID affects 30% of survivors, causing persistent symptoms such as physical weakness, extensive muscle pain, sleeping disorders, anxiety, depression, headache, cognitive decline, and neuropsychology imbalances. These symptoms were overlooked initially because of their low short-term mortality risk. However, further investigations are warranted as their long-term effects may lead to severe physical and mental illnesses. This study investigated how singing bowl therapy benefits COVID-19 recoverees’ autonomic nervous system, fatigue, sleep, and emotional states. Materials and Methods: COVID-19 recoverees, aged 20 – 60, that recovered from COVID within the last six months, were recruited online for this study. A 4-week, parallel randomized controlled trial was carried out in which 30 recoverees of the experimental group participated in singing bowl therapy once a week for 50 mins; the control group sat silently without any interventions. Pretest and posttest were conducted on both groups using BFI-T (Brief Fatigue Inventory - Taiwanese version), PSQI (The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index), and POMS (Profile of Mood State) questionnaires. The heart rate variability (HRV) of each participant was measured at each session. SPSS version 26 for MacOS was used for data analysis. Results: A total of 56 COVID-19 recoverees completed the study, which comprised 21 male (37.5%) and 35 female (62.5%) participants. No significant differences were found between the pretest scores of the control and experimental groups. Results of the HRV analysis showed that the SDNN, HF, and TP of the experimental group increased after each singing bowl session in which significance differences were observed in each of the four weeks of intervention, indicating improved heart rate variability. The LF/HF decreased in the second, third, and fourth week in which significant differences were evident in the latter two weeks. This indicated a trend toward the stabilization of the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. Independent t-tests revealed significantly higher SDNN, HF, and TP in the experimental group’s posttest results compared to the control group, highlighting the efficacy of singing bowl therapy on autonomic nervous activity. Subjective assessments showed significant improvements in sleep quality, fatigue, and mood scores of the experimental group. Independent t-tests on posttest results indicated significant differences in ‘Current fatigue levels’, ‘General fatigue levels in the past 24 h, and ‘Intermediate fatigue levels in the past 24 h’ between the experimental group and the control group. Furthermore, significant differences were found between the experimental group and the control group in ‘Sleep quality’, ‘Sleep onset latency’, ‘Daily living disability, and the PSQI total score. In addition, the ‘Vitality’, ‘Fatigue’, ‘Anger’, and ‘Nervousness’ scores of the POMS survey were significantly different between the experimental and control groups. Conclusion: The findings of this study indicate that singing bowl meditation intervention has short-term benefits in enhancing autonomic nervous system activity, reducing fatigue, improving sleep quality, and transforming negative emotions. The overall trend in heart rate variability changes suggests that singing bowl meditation can quickly induce a relaxation effect and contribute to promoting both physical and mental well-being, serving as a simple and safe therapeutic approach

It adopts a qualitative research design with multiple cases, focusing on students from Happy Elementary School in Taichung City (pseudonym). Six upper-grade students are selected as research subjects, and data collection and analysis are conducted through interviews. The findings of this study are as follows: Students whose smartphone usage behavior is not restricted tend to have lower academic achievement. When parents do not impose limitations on their children's smartphone usage behavior, students are prone to becoming addicted to using smartphones, resulting in a lack of concentration in class and a loss of interest in learning. Students who engage in prolonged viewing of short videos commonly exhibit decreased attention span and poorer language expression, writing, and reading comprehension abilities. In addition to smartphone usage, students with higher academic achievement are more likely to engage in other leisure activities. Finally, based on the research results, the following recommendations are proposed for elementary school teachers and future research. Recommendation 1 : Expand the research subjects. Future researchers are advised to extend the research subjects to include homeroom teachers and parents to gain a more comprehensive understanding
[[alternative]]A Preliminary Exploration of Remedying Contradictions in Physical Bookstore Services: A Case Study of Kingstone Bookstore
[[abstract]] With the rapid development of e-commerce, physical bookstores are facing unprecedented challenges. It is not just about the intensification of market competition, but also about how to carry out effective service recovery when service errors occur to improve customer satisfaction and maintain their loyalty. This study explores the types of service failures that are most feared to be encountered in physical bookstores, service recovery strategies, and potential service recovery conflicts. Through literature review and questionnaire survey, this study sorted out several service errors that are least expected to be encountered in physical bookstores, such as inability to find products, poor service attitude, dirty environment, etc. These service failures will directly affect the customer's shopping experience, leading to customer dissatisfaction or even loss. Secondly, this study analyzes the service recovery strategies commonly used by physical bookstores, including providing discounts, free gifts, and prioritizing follow-up needs. However, these strategies are not always effective in solving problems and sometimes even lead to service recovery conflicts. For example, overcompensation may lead other customers to have inflated service expectations, while undercompensation may exacerbate customer dissatisfaction. Finally, this study proposes some methods to resolve service recovery contradictions. First, a reasonable remedy plan should be developed based on the severity of the service failure to avoid over or under compensation. Secondly, employee training is key. By improving employees' adaptability and service awareness, service errors can be effectively dealt with at the first time and the occurrence of conflicts can be reduced. In addition, physical bookstores can also use customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve service quality, thereby reducing the incidence of service errors. In summary, this study highlights the inevitability and potential impact of service failures in physical bookstore operations, while also pointing out effective service recovery strategies and their contradictions. By resolving these contradictions in a targeted manner, physical bookstores can improve customer satisfaction and remain invincible in the fierce market competition. This study uses the impact of service errors and service error recovery in physical bookstores on customer satisfaction to explore whether there is a phenomenon of recovery contradiction. A questionnaire survey method was adopted and SPSS statistical software was used for data analysis and hypothesis verification
[[alternative]]Translation: A Research on the Operational Model and Phenomenon of “Jinjiang Literature City”
[[abstract]] In recent years, with the rapid development of the Internet, online literature has emerged as a new form of literary expression. "Jinjiang Literature City," as one of the significant representatives of Chinese internet literature, has become a platform for extensive interaction between authors and readers. This new form of literary creation and consumption has rapidly expanded within a short period, attracting attention from subcultural circles and industry. However, academic discussions specifically focusing on the operational model of "Jinjiang Literature City" and its phenomenon within contemporary culture and society are currently insufficient. Therefore, this study aims to deeply investigate the structural framework, publication mechanisms, competitive mechanisms, dominant principles, and acceptance phenomena within the writing environment of "Jinjiang Literature City," with the objective of understanding its unique position and influence within the contemporary field of internet literature. Existing research primarily compares "Jinjiang Literature City" with other online literary platforms or considers it as a reference for other literary works. However, there is relatively less research on the operational model, structural framework, and the literary subcultural phenomena it engenders. Additionally, as a Chinese internet literature platform, issues such as its economic impact, influence on subculture, and derivative applications of works in other media deserve further exploration. This study will adopt a theoretical framework aligned with internet literature and cultural studies to analyze the operational model and phenomena of "Jinjiang Literature City" from the perspectives of literary communities, online domains, and cultural circulation
[[alternative]]In the Spotlight and from the Sidelines: On the Narrative Strategies in“Yuma Taru's Dream-Woven Life” and “Kneril Tayal Balay”
[[abstract]]This paper aims at analyzing the narrative techniques and writing strategies adopted by authors Hsin-Yun Chang (張欣芸) and Rimuy Aki (里慕伊•阿紀) in their works “Yuma Taru's Dream-Woven Life”(〈尤瑪·達陸的織夢人生〉)and “Kneril Tayal Balay – Real Atayal Woman”(〈Kneril Tayal Balay 泰雅真女人〉) respectively. Written in the third-person perspective, “Yuma Taru's Dream-Woven Life” throws a spotlight on Yuma Taru's dedication to the traditional art of Atayal cloth-weaving. In “Kneril Tayal Balay – Real Atayal Women”, Rimuy Aki adopts a scattered narrative strategy, opting to tell the life stories of Atayal women from the first-person perspective. Narrative accounts about Yuma Taru only appear at the start and end of “Kneril Tayal Balay – Real Atayal Woman,” seemingly relegating her to the sidelines; however, through the real-life case studies and little narratives of the members of Atayal cloth-weaving workshop Lihang Studio, Yuma Taru's tenacious spirit and ability to execute her vision are thrown into sharp relief. This paper argues that “Yuma Taru's Dream-Woven Life” mainly discusses Yuma Taru's return to her tribe, as well as the sobering issue of reviving the traditional art of Atayal cloth-weaving. On the other hand, “Kneril Tayal Balay – Real Atayal Woman” examines how the practice of cloth-weaving can bring together Atayal women, and grant them physical refuge and emotional solace in the face of the many adversities that they often encounter in life. Dissimilar in terms of their narrative techniques, these two works also shine a light on how writing strategies can differ in the genre of literary reportage
