点字・触図システムの開発:大学における福祉工学へのアプローチ
論文(Article)In Japan, the number of sight-disabled persons is over 300 thousands, and half of them is in total blindness. It is very important to communicate beyond such handicap between sound and blind persons in many ways. Braille method, which uses small six convex points on the paper, is a popular language to present phonetically spelled characters for blind persons. On the other hand, it has been difficult for a long time to know the shape or figure by finger touching on a Paper. Recently, the Intelligence Technology (IT) is wel1 spread in the area using the personal computer, while the virtual information is performed in blind education and communication with great difficulty. In this paper, a brief history and some equipment for the blind education are introduced, and the reasons why a new system is needed are discussed. A Braille and Tactile printing system for sight-disable person, which uses plastic ink and a personal computer and a resin dispenser robot, is developed in this paper. It wi1l be applied to present figures, pictures, graphs or maps for small amount printing, because another mass printing system using plastic ink is available. It is easy to transform a bitmap data to a CAD data from a scanner or WEB image, but some technical training may be needed to perform touch sensing figures for the CAD programming. The welfare technology in the mechanical engineering will be deyeloped more quickly to make educational or social aids for not only visible persons but also blind persons in the sense of universal design

論文(Article)The authors have investigated on the circuits of various types of the magnetic amplifiers for detecting the rotating speed. These circuits proved to be better in linearity over a wide range of change in rotating speed and could convert the speed into the average output current. By means of multi-stage connecting these circuits with silicon controlled rectifier (SCR) circuits, this circuit form is applicable to a fairy wide range of the speed control of electric motors. The purpose of this paper is to explain on dynamic characteristics of this circuit, as an element of the control system, of the full-wave output type on the block diagram, and to develop the trasfer function of this circuit. Moreover, authers made clear of being able to extend approximately the block diagram of the above-mentioned amplifier to one of SCR circuits
蒸着したTe-SiOの界面準位密度
論文(Article)Al-S_iO-Te-Au MIS structures were formed by vacuum evaporation on a slide glass in order to estimate the density of the interface states between the semiconducting layer and the insulating layer using the technique proposed by Gray and Brown. Temperature dependence of the flat band voltage of MIS capacitace was measured and the Fermi energy of Te was calculated as the function of the temperature. From the data described above, the interface states density of about 2 - 3 X 10^ cm^(-2)・ev^(-1) was estimated to be located near the valence band edge of the evaporated Te
Implementation of SLISP and SREDUCE on a 32 bit Machine
論文(Article)Abstract We investigate and resolve the problems which arose during the course of implementation of symbolic manipulation language SLISP and algebraic manipulation language SREDUCE on a byte machine. Some of the problems are complicated since SLISP was originaly developed on a word machine while the present host computer is a byte machine. It is recognized that the clues to resolve such problems are both reprogramming the source program with taking the differences of operating system of two machine into account and proper transformation of the internal representations of SLISP data so as to adapt for the new host machine. We re-examine fully the internal representations of SLISP data and the system initialization routine and improve them. The resultant system program gains considerable portabllity. Then we explain a new built-in function of the present version of SLISP in some details as a typical example that the recursion processing is required. The new built-in functions are consist of the basic functions of Lisp and the functions for pattern matching. Both of them contribute to increase the processing ability of SLISP. 記号処理言語SLISPと数式処理言語SREDUCEをバイトマシンへインプリメントする過程で生じた問題を調べ解決する。SLISPが元来ワードマシンで開発されたのに対し,今回のホストマシンはバイトマシンであるから問題点のいくつかは面到な問題である。 その様な問題点を解決する手懸りは,ニつのマシンのオペレーティング・システムの違いを考慮して原始プログラムを再プログラミングする事と,新しいホストマシンに適合するようにSLISPデータ内部表現を正しく変換する事の両方にある事が認識される。SLISP データ内部表現と処理系初期化ルーチンを良く再点検し改良する。その結果,システムプログラムは著しいポータビリティを獲得した。 次いで,再帰処理が必要となる典型的一例として, SLISP現版中のある一つの新たな組込関数についてやゝ詳細に説明する。新たな組込関数はLispの基本関数とパターン・マッチング用の関数とからなっている。これらはともにSLISPの処理能力を増強するのに寄与している
荷電粒子軌道解析用プログラムとその応用例
論文(Article)A new program named ”cross field” used for charged particle beam tracing, has been developed. Cross field MS is very unique and prospective. For example, electric field scanning covered very wide MS range can be easily achieved at constant acc.voltage and also at constant magnetic field. But it is required that a troidal deflector must be put in a narrow pole plece gap. Therefore, there is a possibility that this limitation of deflector's height will introduce undesirable large ”higher order” abberation terms into cross field focusing property. In this program, beam tracing can be done in ”two differrent mode”, that is, in ”SCTE” (cross field) mode and then in ”TRO12” (cross field) mode. In ”SCTE” cross field, the troidal deflector potential is given in 4th order expansion foumular, while in ”TRO12” cross field troidal deflector field is calculated by ”surface charge method”. Focusing property of cross field can be examined by observing the difference between both mode beam tracing
On the Pneumo-acoustic Liquid Atomization
論文(Article)A new atomization method is proposed. Air flow accelerated through a loop convergent nozzle is injected to a small Hartmann resonant cell to generate intensive ultrasonic acoustic vibrations. Liquid is impinged perpendicularly to the air flow at the nozzle exit and atomized by the combined effects of collision, shear force and Pneumo - acoustic vibration. The condition of favorable resonant cell, the value of air flow rate at which the sound pressure level increases rapidly - the singu1ar point of air flow rate - and the semiexperimental equation of SMD with the liquid physical properties are obtained
周波数掃引計測器の周波数領域における解析
論文(Article)Abstract One of measuring apparatuses using a sweep generator is a swept frequency measurement system (SF) and the other is a spectrum analyzer (SA). Though the appearance of SF differs substantially from that of SA at a glance, we clarified that the output signal of SF is quite same as that of SA if the device under test is a filter used in SF. The analysis by FFT is almost equivalent to the numerical analysis of differential equations in the meaning of time complexity. If only the frequency characteristics of a device under test can be measured, the method using FFT is superior to the numerical analysis of differential equations
On a Refraction Problem
論文(Article)Abstract A condition on the point of refraction is stated in connection with the rank of matrices (Main Theorem) As an application a condition on the points of refraction of light is given. n+1次元の実ベクトル空間でf(x,y,y’)はm個の超曲面の交わりπを境として不連統とし,その両側では必要な条件を満足するものとする。双方の側の2定点A,Bがあるときπ上の1点Pを求めて,A,P,Bを通るy(x)を求めて ∫^b_a(x,y,y’)dx を極小とする。Pの満足すべき条件として行列の階数についての条件を求める。(主定理) 応用として光の屈折問題について考察する
鋼の脆性破壊の原因に関する考察
論文(Article)Steel in the state of casting and forging is very brittle. Some times the breakage of steel in machining or cold bending is caused by its brittleness. Especially such breakage occurs much more frequently in self hardening low alloy steel than in carbon steel. Causes of such brittle rupture have generally been considered to be impurities, coarseness of grain size and micro crack in the material, but this consideration is not satisfactory, and can not explain some phenomena. The present writer tries fo offer a new considerafion on the causes of such brittle rupture from the view point of metallography, and the new consideration is as follows : - (1) The principal factor controlling such brittle rupture is the relation between local concentrated stress in the crystal grain boundary and breaking stress of structure component. (2) The factors controlling local concentrated stress are the size of crystal grain, the thickness of precipitate, the breaking stress of structure compoment and the micro-crack in grain boundary. (3) Impurities in grain boundary are an additional factor of such brittle rupture, and not an effective one. (4) Steel spcimens annealed at a temperature lower than its critical point are tough. Causes of the toughness are considered to be possibility of plastic deformation owing to the softening of matrix, the uniforming of local stress concentration due to the developement of deformation area and the increase of breaking stress caused by plastic deformation. (5) As causes of the toughness of steel specimens annealed at a temperature higher than its critical point can be enumerated the uniforming of stress concentration due to fine crystal grain, plastic deformation owing to the softening of matrix and the inercase of breaking stress caused by plastic deformation
チョッパ増幅器の過渡応答の改善
論文(Article)A chopper amplifier is a kind of a D.C. amplifier, and is used, for example, as an element of a control system and for measuring small D.C. voltage. Inferior transient response, that is one of faults of chopper amplifiers, is due to the time constant of R C low-pass filter and the cut-off or saturation of chopper amplifiers with negative feedback. In this paper, it is described how the cut-off or saturation of chopper amplifier has influence on the transient response. The bridge circuit of diodes and electric batteries attached to the demodulating circuit is devised and is proved to be valid in fact for improving the transient response
