    In the article "Phase Portraits of Hyperbolic Geometry" (submitted) we introduced the use of phase portraits for visualizing the behavior of functions on hyperbolic space. This Maple package contains all of the necessary procedures to create the various representations which appear in the paper; the accompanying worksheet contains examples of how to create each one where the functions used are the same ones which appear in the article itself.     This collection is a set of images of specimens held at the Australian Tropical Herbarium. The CNS collection is comprised of an estimated 180,000 specimens that are pressed, dried and mounted on herbarium sheets, and an estimated 18,000 specimens preserved in 70% ethanol.\n\nCNS is an amalgamation of the (QRS) The Australian National Herbarium – Atherton collection, and the Queensland Herbarium – Mareeba collection (MBA). \n\nThe Australian Tropical Herbarium is a contributor to Australia's Virtual Herbarium.\n\nSpecimens from the Australian Tropical Herbarium have been collected and managed as a joint venture with James Cook University and the Queensland Government.\nLineage: \t\nThis dataset is one of a series that comprises images from the Australian Tropical Herbarium collection. These images were taken as part of a systematic project digitising the whole Herbarium collection or ongoing imaging of the physical specimen collection, and this grouping of images is arbitrary based on the time period the images were taken, it is not a comprehensive list of all the specimens available in a taxon.\n\nAs such, this dataset may not include all images from a particular taxon and we recommend the Australian Tropical Herbarium specimen image search under Scientific Domains which can be used to search across the image datasets to find all images from a specific taxon

    Long-term project observations for project P574 semester 2025OCTS_17

    We request time to observe 270 pulsars on a regular basis in order to achieve three main science goals. The first is to understand pulsars: how do they spin down and what disrupts this process, how and why their profiles vary with time, whether they precess or have planetary mass companions, in short all the things that make pulsar timing noisier than the perfect clock. Secondly we want to understand the interstellar medium of our Galaxy through repeated monitoring of dispersion measure, rotation measure and flux density variations in conjunction with scintillation parameters. Finally, we provide these data as a community service both to the high-energy community where we have strong collaborative links (particularly to Fermi) and to the radio pulsar astronomers generally through the CSIRO archive. The project is on-going since 2007, we are (co-)authors on 107 papers arising from the P574 data. The data have contributed to the PhD theses of students from Bordeaux, Manchester, Oxford, Stanford, and Swinburne. We are seeking long-term project status with a view to continuing the project into the SKA era
