The fact that people of the United States are becoming more vitally interested in matters concerning health, both personal and public, is evidenced by the great number of articles on that subject appearing in the newspapers and journals throughout the land. It's very necessary that this interest be directed along the right paths, and there is no better medium through which this can be accomplished than through public schools. That the teaching profession recognizes this fact as proven by placing health. With its broadest interpretation as the first of the seven objects of education the subject of this thesis.
