Kidney is a vital organ in the human excretory system that has an important role in filtering blood and removing waste. Kidney is a serious problem for humans if not treated or treated in the wrong way, misinterpretation of the disease will also have a fatal impact on the patient, therefore, a system is needed that can help health professionals who can classify the right type of kidney condition. This research implements You Only Look Once version 9 (YOLOv9) to classify 4 types of kidney conditions namely kidney stones, cysts, normal, and tumors with the amount of data used as much as 3600 data consisting of 2880 data as training data, 360 data as validation data, and 360 data as testing data. The results show that the YOLOv9 algorithm is less able to classify kidney conditions with an accuracy value of 89.90%, precision 88.67%, recall 86.30%, and f1-score 87.42%. This model is able to classify the type of kidney condition simultaneously with as many as 40 images. These results show that the system created using the YOLOv9 algorithm has successfully classified the types of conditions in the kidneys.63 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

    No full text
Oil palm is the most significant plantation commodity cultivated in North Sumatra Province. High price fluctuations in oil palm commodities cause changes in prices received by farmers, especially smallholder oil palm farmers. The difference in prices received by oil palm farmers with independent patterns and with plasma patterns is a problem for farmers in making decisions. The study aims to describe how the behavior of farmers in the face of fluctuations in FFB prices and analyze what factors affect the behavior of farmers in the face of fluctuations in FFB prices. The analytical method used in the research is descriptive analysis and multinomial logistic regression test. The results showed that the behavior of farmers when facing fluctuations in FFB prices seen from the aspects of knowledge and attitudes, farmers have relative things and each farmer has thoughts that are not the same from each measurement. Meanwhile, from the aspect of action, namely, working on other people's land, reducing the dose of fertilizer and delaying land maintenance when the price of FFB is low. When the price of FFB is high, farmers will take care of the land, save money, and expand the land. The factors of land size and farming experience of farmers partially affect the behavior of independent and plasma farmers when the price of FFB is low, and the gender factor partially does not affect the behavior of farmers when the price of FFB is low. Meanwhile, when the price of FFB is high, only the factor of land area partially affects the behavior of farmers and the factors of farming experience and gender partially do not affect the behavior of farmers.82 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

    No full text
This study was aimed to determine the effect of variations in the roasting time of papaya fruit seeds and the percentage of black glutinous rice and the interaction between the two factors on the quality characteristics of analog coffee powder made from papaya fruit seeds. This research was conducted using a factorial complete randomized design (CRD) method with 2 factors, namely the length of roasting papaya seeds (L): L1 = 60 minutes, L2 = 70 minutes, L3 = 80 minutes and the addition of black glutinous rice (K): K1 = 1.3%, K2 = 2.6%, K3 = 3.9%. The parameters tested in this study were moisture content, ash content, water insoluble solids, antioxidant activity, anthocyanin content, and organoleptic tests (taste, color, aroma, and general acceptance). The results showed that the length of papaya seed roasting on papaya seed analog coffee powder gave highly significant effect (P˂0.01) on the parameters of water content, ash content, water insoluble solids, percentage of antioxidant inhibition, color sensory, aroma sensory, and general acceptance hedonics and had significant effect (P˂0.05) on flavor sensory and gave a nonsignificant effect (P>0.05) on anthocyanin levels in papaya seed coffee powder analog. The percentage of black glutinous rice had a highly significant effect (P˂0.01) on moisture content, ash content, water insoluble solids, percentage of antioxidant inhibition, anthocyanin content, and taste sensory, color sensory, aroma sensory and general acceptance hedonics. Furthermore, the interaction between the two factors gave a significant different effect on water content, water insoluble solids, percentage of antioxidant inhibition, anthocyanin content, taste sensory, color sensory, aroma sensory, and general acceptance, and gave a significant different effect on ash content. Papaya seed analog coffee powder with the best quality characteristics based on anthocyanin content, percentage of antioxidant inhibition, organoleptic parameters (taste, color, aroma, and general acceptance) is a roasting time of 80 minutes with a percentage of 3.9% black glutinous rice.109 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

The analysis results show that local Indonesia soybean prices are more volatile than world soybean prices. And using Pearson Correlation Analysis to answer objective 2, namely the relationship between world imported soybean market prices and the local Indonesian soybean market. The results of this research show that there is a relationship between the world market price of imported soybeans and the local Indonesian soybean market. And using sensitivity analysis to answer objective 3 which shows that the income of tofu and tempe entrepreneurs is sensitive to the price volatility of imported soybeans and local Indonesian soybeans with a total cost increase of 10%, 20% and 30%. Social Dynamics in Agricultural Transition: A Case Study of Farmers' Adaptation from Annual Crops to Secondary Crops in the Food Estate of Siria-Ria Village, Pollung District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency

    No full text
This study examines the social dynamics of agricultural transition from perennial crops to food crops in Siria-Ria Village, Pollung District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. The government-initiated Food estate program has significantly altered local farming practices, prompting farmers who previously relied on perennial crops such as coffee and andaliman to shift towards food crops like potatoes and shallots. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, collecting data through in-depth interviews and observations of ten key informants directly involved in the transition process. The findings indicate that this shift in farming practices has diverse economic impacts. While increased production and expanded market opportunities offer potential benefits, farmers also face challenges such as rising production costs, dependency on external agricultural inputs, and commodity price fluctuations. From a social perspective, the transition has led to changes in work patterns and social interactions among farmers, requiring adaptations in collective labor systems and market strategies. Additionally, government support in the form of subsidies, agricultural training, and infrastructure development plays a crucial role in facilitating this transition. This study provides insights into the complexities of farmers' adaptation to evolving agricultural policies and their implications for the social and economic aspects of rural communities. The findings serve as a reference for policymakers in designing more effective and sustainable agricultural programs to enhance farmers' welfare in rural areas.233Skripsi Sarjan

Construction of LGBT Sympathizers (Case Study: Medan Selayang)

    No full text
The LGBT phenomenon in Indonesia continues to spark social debate, with groups of LGBT sympathizers emerging as advocates for the rights of this community even though they are not part of it themselves. These sympathizers often face negative stereotypes and are perceived as opposing dominant values in society. This study aims to understand how LGBT sympathizers in Medan Selayang construct their social construction of the LGBT controversy as a social deviation and the forms of stereotypes they receive. Using a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, this research explores the subjective experiences of sympathizers through in-depth interviews. The data is analyzed using Peter L. Berger and Thomas Luckmann's social construction theory to understand how their meanings and attitudes towards LGBT are formed. The results show that LGBT sympathizers build their social construction through three main stages: externalization, objectivation and internalization. They are increasingly open to the diversity of sexual orientation despite facing significant social challenges. Their courage in defying religious and cultural norms is a key finding, although this puts them in a vulnerable position to stereotyping. Sympathizers are often labeled as supporters of 'deviant behavior', contrary to religious and cultural values, and suspected of having the same sexual orientation as the LGBT community. Despite resistance from the surrounding environment, sympathizers maintain their support as a form of solidarity and struggle for human rights. This research contributes to the study of sociology by providing deeper insights into how sympathizer groups construct narratives that defy social norms and deal with existing social pressures.201 PagesSkripsi Sarjan
