    Analysis Of Mechanical Properties Of Rubber Fruit Shell Composites Due To Compression Pressure Variations As An Alternative Material For Brake Pads

    Motorized vehicles are used to dissipate the vehicle's motion energy so that the vehicle slows down. The working principle of this brake is that there is friction between the disc and the brake pad when these two brake components come into contact. So that with this friction, the kinetic energy coming from the vehicle is converted into heat. Based on this, a solution is needed to handle it by utilizing the potential of rubber fruit shells, as well as increasing the economic value of the waste. Thus, research is needed to make brake pads using composite materials made from rubber fruit shell waste as an alternative material for motorcycle brake pads. Rubber fruit shell composites are made with several loading variations, with variation I: 2 ton loading, variation II: 3 ton loading and variation III: 4 ton loading. In this study, several tests were carried out, namely friction testing, microstructure and hardness testing to get results that are close to conventional motorcycle brake pads on the market. In this conclusion, it can be obtained that the effect of the variation in compaction pressure on the hardness value, wear rate and microstructure of the specimen of the brake pad material of the rubber fruit shell material is greater the pressure of the compaction load, the results obtained are also closer to those on the market. Variation in compression loading in the analysis of mechanical properties of rubber fruit shell composites due to compression pressure variations as an alternative material for motorcycle brake pads that get the maximum value with a hardness value of 28.43 BHN and a wear rate value of with the influence of variations in compaction loading on specimens. This test obtained the highest hardness result at the loading of a 4-ton compaction with a hardness value of 28.43 BHN and the lowest hardness value at a 2-ton loading with a hardness value of 19.90 BHN. Analysis of the mechanical properties of rubber fruit shell composites due to compression pressure variations as an alternative material for motorcycle brake pads obtained the lowest wear rate value with the value of at the loading variation of 2 tons and the result of the highest wear rate valueon the variation of compac tion loading at a load of 4 tons. This test obtained the results that the microstructure in the specimen had a difference in the variation of the loading of the compact, in the loading complex of 2 tons and 3 tons had a non-homogeneous microstructure so that the distribution of powder on the specimen was uneven.     This study aims to measure the effect of Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, and Facilitating Conditions on Behavioral Intention to use Accounting Information System in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Banda Aceh City. The Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model is used as a theoretical framework in this study. This type of research is survei research with the research method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Lisrel 8.0. Data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to 100 MSME players in Banda Aceh. The results showed that effort expectancy, social influence and facilitating conditions had a positive and significant effect on behavioral intention to use accounting information systems by MSMEs. However, performance expectancy has no effect on behavioral intention to use accounting information systems by MSMEs. This research provides valuable insights for Micro, Small and Medium Business owners in Banda Aceh City to increase the acceptance and use of accounting information systems in an effort to increase business efficiency and competitiveness.89 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

    The global economic crises and the Covid-19 pandemic have significantly impacted the culinary SME sector in Medan, as evidenced by a decline in the number of business units from 12,500 (2021) to 12,226 (2023) and an increase in the percentage of SMEs experiencing revenue drops of over 40%, from 25% to 68.7%. Limited access to capital is a major constraint, with the percentage of SMEs having capital access decreasing from 40% to 35.7%, further exacerbated by the low adoption of digital technology, wich stands at only 45%. This 45%. This study analyses the influence of innovation capability, digital competence, and digital transformation on the performance of culinary SMEs in Medan through self-directed learning. From a population of 12.226 culinary SMEs, 230 samples were selected using multistage sampling. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modelin (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS). The results show that innovation capability, digital competence, and digital transformation positively and significantly influence sel-directed learning and SME performance.     Job-hopping intention refers to the voluntary act of switching jobs to pursue more ideal employment opportunities. In recent years, this phenomenon has often been associated with Generation Z. Career anchor, a self-concept guiding career choices, plays a critical role in this context. When an individual’s job aligns with their career anchor, their job satisfaction increases, subsequently reducing their intention to job-hop. This study aims to examine whether job satisfaction intervenes the relationship between career anchor and job-hopping intention on Generation Z employees in Medan. Using the correlational quantitative method, with data collected through purposive sampling. A total of 174 respondents were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results revealed that the indirect effect (-0.118) was smaller than the direct effect (-0.376), indicating partial intervening by job satisfaction.     Babura River is used by some people for bathing and washing, not to mention industrial waste that is deliberately disposed of into the river so that the development of the times makes this river increasingly polluted. Many people throw garbage in the river, making many aquatic organisms die so that the river becomes polluted. Health complaints in the community using Babura river water in Padang Bulan Village are quite high due to basic sanitation that does not meet the requirements and the habit of people who still use river water as a source of clean water. This study aims to determine the relationship between basic sanitation and health complaints in Babura River water users in Padang Bulan Urban Village, Medan Baru Sub-district, Medan City. This type of research is a descriptive survey. The sample size was 59 housewives with the sampling method using total sampling. Data collection was obtained directly by researchers through observation and interviews with research questionnaires. Based on the research findings, it shows that there is a significant relationship between clean water facilities and health complaints with a p-value of 0.036, there is a significant relationship between latrine facilities and health complaints with a p-value of 0.039, there is a relationship between waste management facilities and health complaints with a p-value of 0.032, and there is a significant relationship between wastewater management and health complaints with a p-value of 0.039. It can be concluded that clean water facilities, latrines, garbage disposal, waste water management, have a relationship with the incidence of health complaints in Babura river water users. So it can be suggested to the community around the Babura river not to use river water for daily needs because the river water is polluted and it is hoped that the community will not throw garbage in the river84 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

    Single Economic Entity Doctrine (SEED) is a doctrine that views several different legal entities as one economic unit from a business competition law perspective. The point of contact between company law and business competition law regarding the implementation of SEED is whether or not the parent company controls its subsidiaries as one inseparable business unit, which affects the subsidiary's independence in determining its market behavior. This thesis research uses normative juridical methods with a comparative approach to identify how SEED is implemented in Indonesia and the United States. The research results show significant differences in the scope, implementation criteria, and jurisprudence related to SEED. In Indonesia, the application of SEED is still limited and does not yet have clear criteria even though it has been implemented in several KPPU decisions. Meanwhile in the United States, SEED has a strong legal basis through Section 1 Sherman Act and jurisprudence. It is recommended that SEED be adopted explicitly in the revision of Law Number 5 of 1999 or in KPPU regulations taking into account its implementation practices in the United States.139 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

    This study aims to determine the accuracy of the Altman, Springate, Zmijewski and Grover models in predicting financial distress in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020-2023 period. The type of research used is quantitative research. The population used was 24 food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020-2023 period. The sample in this study was 16 companies using purposive sampling so that 64 observation data were obtained. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistical analysis, Kruskall Wallis test and prediction model accuracy test. The results of the study showed that 1) There was a significant difference in prediction results between the Altman Z-Score, Springate, Zmijewski and Grover models with a probability value below 0.05 (0.00 <0.05) which indicates that there is a significant difference in the results of the financial distress prediction calculation score using the prediction model used. 2) The Grover model is a prediction model that has the highest level of accuracy compared to other prediction models. The Grover model was able to correctly predict 16 research samples, followed by the Zmijewski model which had an accuracy rate of 94% with 15 correctly predicted samples and the Springate model which had an accuracy rate of 75% with 12 correctly predicted samples. Then the next method was the Altman Z-Score with an accuracy rate of 63% with 10 correctly predicted samples. The culinary industry continues to grow with increasing competition, making innovation and the right strategies key to success. This study aims to develop an effective business strategy for a culinary business based on traditional food, specifically seblak, through a case study on the Nyeblak business. Using a quantitative approach and descriptive analysis, this research explores key factors such as product quality, digital marketing, financial management, and product innovation. From the perspective of current market conditions, the demand for convenient and delicious fast food is increasing, especially among young people and students. The product design in this study includes menu variation innovation, raw material optimization, and attractive packaging strategies. Strengthened digital marketing strategies and sound financial management are expected to enhance competitiveness and support sustainable business growth in the culinary industry.     The Mencirim River, which is located in East Binjai District, is one of the water sources that the community uses for daily activities. The flow from the Mencirim River passes through the Mencirim Landfill with a distance of ± 50 m from the Mencirim Landfill which is thought to indicate pollution from leachate contamination originating from the Mencirim Landfill which causes a decrease in river water quality. The aim of this research is to analyze the quality of river water and leachate water (temperature, pH, DO, TSS, BOD and COD), and analyze the level of pollution in Mencirim River water. This research was carried out in 2 sessions, namely on June 27 2024 and July 18 2024. The method for determining river water quality used in this research is the Pollution Index method contained in the Decree of the Minister of Environment Number 115 of 2003 concerning Guidelines for Determining Water Quality Status. Based on the results of research that has been carried out, there are parameters such as BOD that exceed class 2 water quality standards in Government Regulation Number 22 of 2021 which are at downstream of the Mencirim River, and TSS parameters that exceed leachate water quality standards in the Minister of Environment Regulation Life and Forestry Republic of Indonesia No. 59 of 2016 concerning Leachate Quality Standards for Final Processing Place Businesses. Based on the results of calculations using the Pollution Index method, the quality status or level of water pollution ranges from 1.0 ≤ IP ≤ 5.0 and is classified as lightly polluted.97 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

    Analysis of the Impact of Underpass Construction on Noise Levels on Jalan Jawa, East Medan District The construction of underpasses in order to alleviate congestion causes changes in traffic volume on each affected road. Not only that, the construction of the underpass will cause noise impacts starting from the construction to operational stages. In the construction phase, activities that become potential noise generation start from land clearing, mobilization of heavy equipment and materials, earthwork etc. The Medan City Government is building an underpass on HM Yamin road at the Java road intersection, Medan City. The method used in this research is primary data collection (field measurements) then data processing using quantitative and qualitative data analysis and mapping using GIS applications. The results showed that the highest day and night noise level (LSM) value on weekdays was at point 8 (eight) of 81.35 dB(A) and the lowest noise level value was at point 13 (thirteen) of 57.00 dB(A). On holidays, the highest day and night (LSM) noise level values are also at the same point. According to the mapping results on weekdays there are all points that exceed the quality standard, as well as on holidays also all points exceed the quality standard set by Kepmen LHK No. 48 of 1996 in industrial areas which is 60 dB (A). Mapping of noise level results on weekdays is marked in red with a value of 75.39-79.29 dB(A), orange with a value of 71.39-75.39 dB(A), yellow with a value of 67.60-71.39 dB(A), light green with a value of 59.80-63.70 dB(A) and dark green with a value of 63.60-67.60 dB(A).102 PagesSkripsi Sarjan
