Analysis of Influential Factors and Strategies to Increase the Success of Artificial Insemination in Cattle in Asahan Regency, North Sumatra
The slow growth of the cattle population is generally caused by the suboptimal knowledge of reproductive management at the farmer level and the performance of livestock that is not in accordance with their growth period. Suboptimal reproductive management has implications for the number of repeated Artificial Insemination (AI) incidents or Service per Conception (S/C) which is still high so that the calving interval is longer than normal. Suboptimal cattle reproductive management will cause major losses for farmers both in material and immaterial terms. The purpose of this study was to determine the success of Artificial Insemination (AI) in Asahan Regency, to analyze what factors influence the Success of Artificial Insemination in Asahan Regency, and to formulate a Strategy to Increase the Success of Artificial Insemination in Asahan Regency. The data collected in this study were primary data and secondary data. The data obtained were then analyzed using multiple linear regression statistics, after which a SWOT analysis was carried out. The AI program in Asahan Regency was quite successful, this was indicated by the average S/C value ranging from 1.69, CR ranging from 61.4%, and NRR ranging from 67.92%. Based on the results of the F test (simultaneous), the calculated F value is obtained > F table, so that the independent variables simultaneously affect the success of AI. The results obtained are the calculated F value (37.688) > F table (2.198) and the value (Sig) <0.001 is smaller than 0.05. Policies needed to increase the success of AI include utilizing government support and genetic improvement, implementing livestock health and nutrition improvement programs, improving ongoing education and training programs, utilizing opportunities for collaboration with academics and researchers.99 PagesTesis Magiste
Comparison of Smartphone Application Utilization for Diabetic Foot Ulcer Assessment as an Alternative Telemedicine Approach at Adam Malik General Hospital Medan

complications of diabetes mellitus, associated with high morbidity, prolonged hospitalization, and increased risk of amputation. Accurate wound assessment is crucial for optimizing management, yet conventional manual measurement is
limited by inaccuracy and lack of standardization. The integration of smartphone-based applications offers a potential alternative within the framework of telemedicine, particularly in resource-limited settings.
Objective: To compare the diagnostic performance of the ImitoMeasure
smartphone application against manual ruler-based wound assessment in patients with DFU, and to evaluate its potential as a telemedicine tool at Adam Malik General Hospital, Medan.
Methods: This diagnostic test study involved 76 type 2 diabetes patients with DFUs (April–May 2025). Ulcer size (length, width, area) was measured manually with a ruler and digitally with ImitoMeasure under standardized imaging. Diagnostic performance was evaluated using ROC curves and AUC analysis.
Results: The mean age of participants was 54.8 ± 10.5 years, with male
predominance (53.1%). Manual wound measurement yielded a mean length of
5.94 ± 2.87 cm and width of 3.61 ± 1.74 cm, while ImitoMeasure reported higher values (length 7.49 ± 3.75 cm; width 4.33 ± 1.70 cm). The application also calculated wound surface area (mean 26.14 ± 19.47 cm²) and perimeter (mean 19.09 ± 8.62 cm). ROC analysis demonstrated poor diagnostic agreement, with AUC values of 0.375 for length and 0.376 for area.
Conclusion: The ImitoMeasure app offers practical advantages in digital
documentation but shows limited accuracy compared to manual measurement. Though not ready to replace conventional methods, it holds potential as a supportive telemedicine tool, requiring further calibration and algorithm refinement before clinical use.65 PagesTesis Magiste
Synthesis of Methyl Eugenol Through Etherification Reaction at Variation of Moles of Sodium Carbonate and Dimethyl Carbonate
The synthesis of methyl eugenol has been carried out through the etherification reaction of eugenol with dimethyl carbonate (DMC) using sodium carbonate (Na₂CO₃) as a basic agent and tetrabutylammonium bromide (TBAB) as a phase transfer catalyst. The reaction was carried out under reflux conditions for 5 hours at temperatures of ≥91°C, by varying the moles of Na₂CO₃ (0.3; 0.6; and 0.9 mol) and DMC (16, 18, and 20 mmol). The resulting product was characterized using FT-IR spectroscopy and GC-MS. Based on the results of %area analysis GC-MS obtained the most maximum methyl eugenol content for sodium carbonate mole variation is at 0.6 mmol sodium carbonate which is 62.06%. The maximum methyl eugenol content for dimethyl carbonate mole variation is at 18 mmol dimethyl carbonate which is 82.44%. The results of FT-IR analysis showed the disappearance of OH group absorption at wave numbers around 3200-3600 cm-1 and the appearance of C-O-C asymmetrical ether stretching vibrations from methoxy groups (OCH3) at wave numbers 1140.6 cm-1 which indicates the success of the etherification reaction and the formation of methyl eugenol. So it can be concluded that there has been a substitution process of the -CH3 group to the H atom of the -OH group of eugenol.78 PagesSkripsi Sarjan
The Influence of Self-Control and Conformity on Celebrity Worship Among K-Pop Fans in Indonesia
The phenomenon of Celebrity Worship has become increasingly relevant alongside the growing popularity of K-Pop culture in Indonesia. This study aims to examine the influence of self-control and conformity on the level of Celebrity Worship among K-Pop fans in Indonesia. A quantitative approach using a correlational method was employed. The participants consisted of 400 K-Pop fans selected through purposive sampling. The instruments used in this study included the Self-Control Scale, the Conformity Scale, and the Celebrity Attitude Scale (CAS), which comprises three dimensions: Entertainment-Social, Intense-Personal, and Borderline-Pathological.
Regression analysis revealed that both self-control and conformity significantly influence Celebrity Worship, both partially and simultaneously. Individuals with low self-control and high levels of conformity tend to exhibit higher levels of Celebrity Worship. These findings offer important psychological insights into the dynamics of celebrity idolization within the context of popular culture and provide practical recommendations for individuals and fan communities to manage their engagement in a healthy manner.124 PagesTesis Magiste
Evaluation of ECC Mortar and Bio Fiber-ECC Based on Fly Ash and Palm Shell Ash Based on Microstructure Study
This study aims to evaluate the microstructural characteristics and mechanical performance of Engineered Cementitious Composite (ECC) mortar modified with waste-based additives such as fly ash and palm shell ash (PSA), along with natural fibers including bamboo and rattan (Bio Fiber-ECC). Sieve analysis revealed that fly ash had the finest particle size (FM = 0.00), allowing for better void filling, which enhanced mortar density and compressive strength. XRF testing identified key pozzolanic compounds (SiO₂, Al₂O₃, Fe₂O₃) in fly ash and PSA that contribute to the formation of hydration products like calcium silicate hydrate (CSH). FTIR analysis detected dominant functional groups (Si-O, Al-O, O-H), indicating active pozzolanic and hydration reactions, with noticeable peak shifts suggesting the formation of new bonds and amorphous silica/aluminosilicate structures. SEM observations revealed diverse particle morphologies: spherical, smooth fly ash particles enhanced workability and packing density, while irregular, porous PSA particles accelerated hydration due to their high surface area. The optimal sample (M33) exhibited a denser and more compact microstructure with smaller pores. In Bio Fiber-ECC, uniform fiber dispersion provided a bridging effect, reducing crack propagation, whereas samples with minimal fiber content showed voids that contributed to decreased compressive strength. Overall, the synergy of fly ash, PSA, and natural fibers significantly improved the mechanical and microstructural properties of the mortar.118 PagesSkripsi Sarjan
The Effect of Bob Anderson Stretching on Reducing Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Complaints on Tailors at Cv. Sumatera Agung Makmur Confection Medan
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is one of the most common occupational diseases among informal sector workers such as tailors, resulting from repetitive hand movements, non-ergonomic working positions, and a lack of preventive interventions. This study aims to analyze the effect of Bob Anderson stretching on reducing CTS complaints in tailors at CV. Sumatera Agung Makmur Konveksi Medan. This study uses a one-group pretest-posttest design with a sample size of 32 tailors selected through purposive sampling. The intervention was conducted over four weeks, three times a week, with a total of thirteen hand, wrist, and forearm stretching exercises. CTS complaint measurement was performed using the Boston Carpal Tunnel Questionnaire (BCTQ) instrument and analyzed using the Simple Linear Regression Test according to the data distribution. The research results show that there is an influence between the number of intervention weeks and CTS symptoms (p = 0.001; R2 = 0.181), meaning that the duration of stretching intervention contributes 18.1 percent to predicting a decrease in CTS symptoms in tailors. This indicates that each additional week of intervention can reduce the CTS score by 2.144 per week, with a 95% confidence interval ranging from -2.949 to -1.338. It can be concluded that the duration of the intervention has a negative and significant effect on the reduction of the CTS score. Bob Anderson Stretching should be applied regularly in the work activities of tailors as an effort to prevent muscle and nerve disorders caused by static and repetitive work. The owner of the garment factory is required to provide special time during working hours for stretching exercises. This program must be implemented for a minimum of nine weeks or 27 interventions and continued while working as a tailor to prevent the recurrence of CTS symptoms. Future researchers can evaluate the effectiveness of stretching if performed for nine weeks or 27 interventions, as predicted by the regression equation that a clinically significant reduction in CTS symptom scores is achieved with that number of interventions.212 PagesTesis Magiste
Analysis of the Trademark Registration System in the Cancellation Case of the "Zhe Nung Zhu" Trademark (A Study of Supreme Court Decision No. 704 K/Pdt.Sus-HKI/2021)
Indonesia, as a country adhering to the "First to File" trademark registration system as stipulated in Law Number 20 of 2016 concerning Trademarks and Geographical Indications, affirms that legal protection is granted to the party who first registers a trademark. However, the application of this principle encounters practical challenges, as demonstrated in the cancellation case of the trademark "Zhe Nung Zhu & Logo," decided by the Supreme Court through Decision No. 704 K/Pdt.Sus-HKI/2021. This study aims to identify the factors that led to the cancellation of the registered trademark based on Law No. 20 of 2016, to analyze Indonesia's trademark registration system in providing legal protection to registered trademarks, and to examine the Supreme Court's legal reasoning in rendering the decision.
This is a normative legal research with a descriptive-analytical character relying on secondary data, including primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. Data were collected through a literature review by analyzing various relevant documents and processed using qualitative analysis.
Based on the analysis of the "Zhe Nung Zhu & Logo" cancellation case, the study concludes that the grounds for trademark cancellation include: contradiction with state ideology, legislation, morality, religion, decency, or public order; lack of distinctiveness; bad faith registration; and substantial or overall similarity with a previously registered trademark. Indonesia's trademark registration system offers layered legal protection through preventive mechanisms (administrative and substantive examination) and repressive measures (civil and criminal sanctions, as well as cancellation procedures). In Decision No. 704 K/Pdt.Sus-HKI/2021, the Supreme Court applied Article 21 paragraph (1) letter (a) of Law No. 20 of 2016, considering that the "Zhe Nung Zhu & Logo" trademark owned by Darma Iliadi bore essential similarities to the "Logo" trademark owned by Dhalim Soekodanu, which had been registered since May 29, 1991. The registration was also deemed to be made in bad faith. Optimization Study of Fuzzy TOPSIS Method in Stock Selection with Evaluation of Risk and Return
This study aims to mathematically examine the results of stock selection analysis in the
banking sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) using the Fuzzy Technique
for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (Fuzzy TOPSIS) method, which
is effective in handling uncertainty and subjectivity in stock market data. The five
criteria used are capital gain, return on equity (ROE), beta value, price volatility, and
trading volume, with five stock alternatives: BCA, BNI, Mandiri, BRI, and BTN, based
on data from the last five years. The analysis process includes fuzzification, normalization,
determination of positive and negative ideal solutions, distance calculation
from the ideal solution, and preference value calculation. The results show that BCA
has the highest preference value (Vi = 0.741), followed by Mandiri (Vi = 0.714), BRI
(Vi = 0.631), BNI (Vi = 0.497), and BTN (Vi = 0.232). Validation shows the results
are stable and consistent with the Pareto principle, indicating that Fuzzy TOPSIS is
appropriate as a basis for objective and measurable investment decision-making.81 PagesSkripsi Sarjan
Characteristics and Mechanical Properties of Self-Healing Geopolymer Mortar Based on Fly Ash with Hydrogel under High-Temperature Exposure
The use of Portland cement in construction produces significant carbon
dioxide (CO₂) emissions, so that more environmentally friendly alternative
materials are needed. Fly ash-based geopolymers are a potential solution, but
exposure to high temperatures can reduce their performance. This study
developed a self-healing geopolymer mortar by adding hydrogel to improve
resistance to high temperatures. The purpose of the study was to determine the
effect of high temperatures on the compressive strength of mortar at various
alkali activator molarities (6M, 8M, 10M, 12M) and its microstructural
characteristics. The experimental research method involved the manufacture of
5×5×5 cm cube mortar test specimens with variations in hydrogel addition. The
test specimens were cured at room temperature for 28 days, then fired at 1000°C
for 4 hours and tested for compressive strength. The results showed that mortar
without hydrogel with a GFA molarity of 12M achieved the highest compressive
strength of 22.77 MPa. The addition of hydrogel accelerated the initial setting
time but decreased the compressive strength due to increased porosity during
firing. Microstructural analysis with SEM showed amorphous and reactive fly
ash morphology. In conclusion, geopolymer mortar without hydrogel at 12M
molarity gave the best performance against high temperature exposure, while
hydrogel has the potential as a self-healing agent but needs formulation

Malware Identification on Android Platform using KNN and Principal Component Anlaysis Algorithm
Android is the most widely used operating systems for mobile device, making it a main target for malware developers. Malware refers to malicious software designed to compromise user devices, often resulting in data theft, privacy breaches, system exploitation, and unauthorized surveillance. Indonesia, among other countries, has seen a significant rise in such threats. This study aims to enhance malware detection performance on the android platform by employing a dataset from Kaggle titled Android Malware Detection. The proposed method integrates the K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) algorithm for classification with Principal Component Analysis (PCA) for dimensionality reduction, thereby optimizing processing time. The combined KNN-PCA approach achieved a detection accuracy of 97%. Furthermore, the application of the Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique (SMOTE) to address class imbalance in the dataset led to further improvements in model performance.64 PagesSkripsi Sarjan
