    Impact of Economic Growth, Population, Energy Consumption, and HDI on Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Emissions in ASEAN Countries

    This research aims to analyze the impact of economic growth, population, energy consumption, and Human Development Index (HDI) on Carbon Dioxide (CO2) emissions in 11 ASEAN countries during the period 2013–2021. The research applies a dynamic panel regression method using the Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) approach. The research results indicate that although Economic Growth (GDP) has a positive yet insignificant impact in the short term, it shows a weak and positive impact in the long term, indicating continued reliance on fossil energy that has not been separated completely from economic growth. Population (POP) has a positive and significant impact on CO2 emissions, both in the short and long term, indicating that increasing population leads to higher energy demand and greater economic activity. Energy Consumption (ERG) has an insignificant impact, due to the diversity of energy sources, including renewable energy, or measurement inefficiencies. The Human Development Index (HDI) has a negative and significant impact, especially in the long term, showing that improving human quality through education, health, and the economy can promote sustainable development and reduce CO2 emissions. The policy implications of this research include controlling the impact of population through sustainable urban planning, strengthening environmentally based Human Development, decarbonizing economic growth, and implementing long-term strategies such as regional collaboration for a clean energy transition.     Stress is an emotional response that often arises due to psychological pressure, and if not handled properly can have a negative impact on physical and mental health. This research aims to develop an Android application that can detect user stress levels based on facial expressions using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) artificial intelligence model integrated with TensorFlow. Application development is carried out using the Modified Waterfall method, which is a software development method consisting of the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. The developed application uses the device's camera to capture images of the user's face, then processes them through a CNN model that has been converted into TensorFlow format. This model is able to classify facial expressions into four stress levels, namely no stress, weak stress, mid stress, and high stress. After detection, the system displays the result label and provides stress management advice according to the user's condition. The user authentication feature was developed using Firebase Authentication for login and account registration. Although data storage to Firebase Realtime Database has not been actively implemented, its configuration and dependencies have been prepared for further development.     Background: Dropping out of school is a recurring problem in education and is important to prevent as it has a direct impact on the progress of a country. Objectives: This study aims to analyze and monitor data on school dropout rates in Indonesia for the 2021-2024 period in a systematic and statistically-based manner. Methods: The study was conducted by taking data on school dropout rates from 2021 to 2024 for 38 provinces in Indonesia as a sample.is a problem-solving technique used to monitor, control, analyze, manage, and improve products and processes using statistical methods. Results: After processing the data using the average and range control maps, the results of the X ̅ control map are 2006,7 (BKA = 2693,53; BKB = 1373,86), the R (Range) control map obtained 868,08 (BKA = 1980,95; BKB = 0) there are still areas that are outside the control limits, which means that the dropout rate in Indonesia is not yet within the control limits.     This research aims to compare the Welch-Powell algorithm, the Greedy algorithm, and the Recursive Largest First algorithm in scheduling subjects for the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year at SMP Swasta Islam Terpadu Iqra. This research shows that these three algorithms have the same chromatic number, which is 12. This means that to resolve all conflicts between subjects and ensure no two subjects overlap in time, a minimum of 12 time slots (colors) per week is required. Based on execution time testing of the three graph coloring algorithms, the Greedy algorithm has the fastest execution time compared to the other algorithms. This aligns with its lighter theoretical complexity, which is O(V + E). Meanwhile, the Welch-Powell algorithm takes longer than the Greedy algorithm, which has a complexity of O(V^2).     Nurse job satisfaction is a crucial aspect that affects the quality of hospital services. A supportive work environment and high work motivation are believed to increase nurse job satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the influence of work environment and work motivation on nurses' job satisfaction at Sidikalang General Hospital. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative causal design. The population in this study consists of 152 nurses, with a sample of 110 respondents selected using simple random sampling. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires, and data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that the work environment has a positive and significant influence on nurses' job satisfaction (p < 0.05). Work motivation also has a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction (p < 0.05). Simultaneously, the work environment and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on the job satisfaction of nurses at Sidikalang Regional General Hospital. These findings indicate that good work environment management and increased work motivation are important strategies in creating high job satisfaction among nurses.110 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

    The Impact of Emotional Control on Students’ Mathematics Self-Efficacy in Indonesia: Analysis of PISA 2022 Data

    Mathematics is one of the most important subjects in education and life, as it plays a role in developing students' logical and analytical thinking skills. One influential aspect in enhancing mathematical abilities is mathematics self-efficacy, which refers to an individual’s belief in their ability to solve mathematical problems. Students' self-efficacy in mathematics can be affected by their ability to manage emotions, also known as emotional control. This study aimed to determine the role of emotional control in mathematics self-efficacy among Indonesian students using secondary data from PISA 2022. The research sample consisted of 13,439 students aged 15–16 years from various provinces across Indonesia. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression, the results showed F (1, 13437) = 142.048, p < 0.001, R = 0.010. These findings indicate that emotional control significantly contributes to students' mathematics self-efficacy. However, the R2 value of 0.010 indicates that the emotional control variable plays a role of 1% on mathematics self-efficacy and the remaining 99% is influenced by other factors not examined in the study. These findings imply the necessity of reinforcing students' emotional regulation during learning activities, particularly in mathematics lessons. This is crucial for enhancing their self-efficacy in mathematical abilities, which could lead to a more comprehensive improvement in Indonesian students' math performance.88 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

    This study analyzes the implementation of the System Robust Process (SRP) and its impact on accelerating accounts receivable collection at PT United Tractors, Tbk, Medan Branch Office. This research employs a descriptive quantitative method. The population of this study consists of the accounts receivable reports of PT United Tractors, Tbk, Medan Branch, and the sample comprises receivable data from the 2019-2024 period. Data collection techniques include interviews, documentation, and literature review. The analysis is conducted using descriptive methods, focusing on ratios related to receivables turnover, collection period, delinquency ratio, and collection ratio. The results show that the implementation of SRP has a positive impact on the acceleration of receivables collection. It can be concluded that the receivables turnover at PT United Tractors, Tbk is relatively good and runs effectively. The application of SRP has influenced the average collection period, which has shown a reduction in the age of receivables compared to the period before SRP implementation. The delinquency ratio significantly decreased after SRP was introduced from 23% before implementation to 1% in 2021, and 12% in 2022-2024.     The Sumatran orangutan (Pongo abelii) is an arboreal animal and is classified as a rare species protected by the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN) as critically endangered. The objective of this study is to identify the tree species that serve as nesting sites for the Sumatran orangutan (Pongo abelii) at the Sikundur Research Station and to determine the characteristics of the nesting trees of the Sumatran orangutan (Pongo abelii) at the Sikundur Research Station. The method used in this study is an exploratory survey method. Data collection was conducted using purposive sampling techniques. The results of the study identified 33 tree species used as nests, belonging to 15 families, with a total of 100 individuals. The dominant tree height was found to be 16–20 m, the dominant tree diameter was 20–29 cm, the dominant crown type was spherical, the dominant branching type was monopodial, the dominant nest class was class D, the dominant nest position was 2 and 3, and the dominant nest shape was round.51 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

    Oxalic acid is highly useful and in great demand in various chemical industries due to its applications as a metal treatment, oxalate coating, textile cleaner, dyeing agent, wool dyeing, and so on. Oxalic acid can be produced from tapioca pulp, which contains a high starch content, through a process of hydrolysis and carbohydrate oxidation. The main objective of this preliminary design is to assess the feasibility of establishing a factory. Preliminary Design of a Plant for the Production of Ethanedioic Acid (Oxalic Acid) from Cassava Starch (Tapioca Waste) and Nitric Acid (HNO3) Using the Oxidation of Saccharides with Vanadium Pentoxide (V2O5) Catalyst, with a capacity of 80,000 tons/year and operating for 330 days per year. The main process in this preliminary design consists of four stages: hydrolysis, glucose purification, carbohydrate oxidation, and oxalic acid purification. This oxalic acid plant from tapioca waste is planned to be established in Central Lampung Province, Lampung, with a building area of 13,060 m3, requiring 171 workers, and will be operated as a Limited Liability Company (PT) led by one director with a line-and-staff organizational structure. The establishment and operation of the factory requires an investment capital of Rp. 1,114,951,198,528.760 and production costs of Rp. 549,060,112,604.015. Based on the feasibility analysis, this factory has a break-even point (BEP) of 40.07%, a return on investment (ROI) of 17.43%, a payback period (POT) of 5 years and 9 months, a net present value (NPV) of 29.05%, and an internal rate of return (IRR) of 26%. Based on the economic analysis, it can be concluded that the preliminary design of the factory for the production of ethanoic acid (oxalic acid) from cassava starch (tapioca residue) and nitric acid (HNO₃) using the saccharide oxidation process with vanadium pentoxide (V₂O₅) as a catalyst is feasible to establish.559 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

    Consumer buying interest is the stage where consumers form their choices between several brands and ultimately make a purchase on the most preferred brand or the process that consumers go through to buy a good or service based on various considerations. This study aims to analyze the effect of marketing mix on consumer buying interest in Tongkoh Village, Dolat Rakyat District, Karo Regency. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive approach with the smartPLS SEM (Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling) software model. Data was collected through interviews and questionnaires to 97 consumers selected by purposive sampling. The result of this study is that place has a greater effect because consumers to generate buying interest pay more attention to strategic locations both on the side of the road and those with parking lots. Products have a low influence because in general the products that look less attractive, because the fruit is less fresh and many fruits are not of good quality.83 PagesSkripsi Sarjan
