The Influence of Price Perception, Product Diversification, and Edutainment Content on Subscription Interest in Ruangguru (Case Study at SMAN 1 Medan)
This study aims to analyze the influence of price perception, product diversification, and edutainment content on students' subscription interest in Ruangguru among SMAN 1 Medan students. The global education technology market shows rapid growth, projected to reach USD 163.5 billion by 2025, with the K-12 segment being a major contributor. Although Ruangguru dominates the Indonesian EduTech market, the conversion of free users to paid subscribers remains low. This issue stems from price perception problems, where users feel the cost isn't commensurate with quality, and prices are often higher than competitors. Extensive product diversification also faces challenges, including the relevance of animated content for high school students and a lack of product flexibility. Furthermore, edutainment programs like Clash of Champions (CoC) show temporary spikes in social media followers, indicating a momentum-based audience interest. Employing an associative quantitative approach with a survey design, this research involved 93 SMAN 1 Medan students as a sample selected through purposive sampling. Primary data was collected via questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS, including validity and reliability tests, descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, determination coefficient analysis, and t and F tests. The findings indicate that price perception, product diversification, and edutainment content simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on subscription interest. Partially, price perception has a positive but not significant effect, while product diversification and edutainment content individually have a positive and significant effect on Ruangguru's subscription interest.191 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

Human Error Analysis in the Halal Supply Chain at Unit Usaha Tahu Ponimin
The halal food industry is a strategically growing sector, especially in Indonesia as the country with the largest Muslim population. However, halal products often face challenges in ensuring the integrity of halal supply chains in maintaining consistent halal standards. Tahu Ponimin, a tofu production unit, is currently in the process of preparing for halal certification to ensure product halalness up to the end consumer. This study aims to identify the impact of human error on product halalness within the supply chain of Tahu Ponimin. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed by integrating the Halal Six Sigma (DMAIC) framework and the HEART (Human Error Assessment and Reduction Technique) method to identify, measure, and analyze the probability of human error (HEP). The results indicate that the highest probabilities of human error occurred in supplier selection (1.75), soybean porridge cooking (1.59), tofu frying (1.59), material delivery (0.98), and tofu storage (0.52). However, according to the principle of the HEART method, if the HEP calculation result exceeds 1, then the value must be assumed to be 1.00 and must not be more (Kirwan, 1994).These five activities account for 66.71% of the total HEP. Corrective measures include the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to provide clear work guidelines and minimize the risk of human error in maintaining product halalness.101 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

Potential of Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB) from Hermetia illucens larvae in Inhibiting Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)
Larvae of Hermetia illucens, commonly known as maggots, are known to decompose various organic materials such as vegetables and fruits. This ability creates a body and gut environment rich in microorganisms, including lactic acid bacteria (LAB). LAB are capable of producing bioactive compounds such as lactic acid and bacteriocins, which possess antibacterial properties against pathogenic bacteria. This study aimed to isolate LAB from Hermetia illucens larvae and to assess their antagonistic activity against Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). LAB were isolated from both the body surface and the gut of the larvae, then characterized morphologically, subjected to Gram staining, motility test and biochemical assay. The isolated LAB strains were tested for their antagonistic ability against MRSA using the dual culture method and by assessing the inhibitory activity of the culture supernatant. The LAB culture supernatants underwent four treatments: untreated (normal condition), heating at 100°C, autoclaving, and pH neutralization. The isolation yielded 13 LAB strains, consisting of 5 isolates from the body surface and 8 from the gut of the larvae. Morphological characterization revealed diversity in colony shapes, colors, margins, and elevations among the isolates. All isolates were Gram-positive and exhibited bacillus and coccus cell forms. Biochemical tests indicated that all isolates were non-motile, catalase-negative, and capable of fermenting sugars without producing hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) or carbon dioxide (CO₂). Antagonistic tests against MRSA identified 6 isolates with inhibitory potential. The antimicrobial activity indices of these 6 isolates ranged from 0.3 to 3.525. The isolate with the highest activity index was Mi01 under natural conditions although its inhibitory activity decreased after heat and autoclaving treatments, it remained effective to inhibit MRSA. These results suggest that isolate Mi01 has potential as a candidate antimicrobial-producing bacterium in inhibiting MRSA infections that are resistant to conventional antibiotics and that it produces antimicrobial compounds that remain stable under high-temperature conditions.46 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

Determination of Lead, Cadmium, and Zinc Metal Concentrations in Road Dust Suspension -Resuspension In and Outside the Medan Industrial Area (KIM)
A study was conducted to analyze and compare the concentration of heavy metals Lead, Cadmium, and Zinc in Road Dust Suspension-Resuspension (RDS-R) around the inside and outside of the Medan Industrial Area (KIM). Road dust samples were collected using a portable vacuum with three location points around the inside and two points outside the KIM area. Each road dust with a collection point was combined into one to create a representative sample. Sifted with a 200 mesh sieve and continued with sample destruction using wet destruction. Testing of the concentration of Pb, Cd, and Zn metals was carried out using Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrometry (ICP-OES). The results showed that the concentration of each Pb, Cd, Zn metal contained in road dust around the inside of KIM was 0.29 mg/L; 0.01 mg/L; and 4,62 mg/L. Meanwhile, the concentrations of Pb, Cd, and Zn metals contained in road dust outside KIM were 0.32 mg/L; 0.01 mg/L; and 8,21 mg/L, respectively. The order of metal concentrations from highest to lowest is Zn> Pb> Cd, where the concentrations of Pb and Zn tend to be greater outside the KIM area compared to around the inside. This is due to the high frequency of traffic intensity outside KIM and the contribution of heavy metals sourced from sampling points around the inside of KIM is relatively lower than the main sources of heavy metals such as metal smelters, forging factories, and steel factories, as well as smoke from burning coal and oil which produce significant amounts of heavy metal emissions.94 PagesSkripsi Sarjan
