Strategy for The Management of Orangutan Tapanuli (Pongo tapanuliensis) Habitat in Bulu Mario and Aek Batang Paya Village, Sipirok Subdistrict, South Tapanuli District
The Tapanuli orangutan (Pongo tapanuliensis) is the most critically endangered great ape species in the world, with its primary habitat located in the Batang Toru ecosystem, North Sumatra. Deforestation and land conflicts are putting strain on this area, especially in the Other Use Area (APL), which has no protection. This research was conducted in Bulu Mario and Aek Batang Paya villages, aiming to describe the land cover conditions, the potential of food trees and orangutan nests, as well as the socio-economic conditions of the community. The methods employed include high-resolution satellite imagery analysis, vegetation surveys, and community interviews. SWOT and AHP methods are used to examine habitat management plans and priorities. According to the findings, 65.9% of the study area is covered by primary and secondary forest cover, with primary forests likely to be the primary distribution for food trees and orangutan nests. However, between 2019 - 2023, habitat degradation has taken place at an average annual rate of 2% deforestation. Community-managed mixed plantations, particularly of coffee and durian, serve as high interaction sites between humans and orangutans. The main strategy produced is the optimization of the ecological functions of APL areas as corridors and buffer zones, enhancing community involvement in conservation through wildlife-friendly agroforestry, and protecting critical habitats through a collaborative approach among stakeholders. The highest priority in management is the protection of natural habitats and the management of community gardens based on conflict mitigation. This research recommends that an integrated landscape approach that combines habitat conservation, community empowerment, and the wise utilization of local commodities can serve as an effective solution in ensuring the survival of the Tapanuli orangutans outside conservation areas.132 PagesTesis Magiste

sampling. The modified SERVQUAL questionnaire covers five dimensions, namely
reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and realism used as a research
instrument. The data were analyzed using the CSI method.
Results : The results showed that the average overall satisfaction perception was
4.59, with the highest average observed in the assurance dimension (4.63).
Responsiveness was identified as the most important quality of service dimension
by clinical forensic patients (mean = 4.90). The overall satisfaction index
calculated through CSI was 91.2%, indicating a very high level of patient
satisfaction, with the highest satisfaction index on the assurance dimension
(92.72%) and the lowest on the physical evidence dimension (90%). The clinical
forensic patient satisfaction index target for the coming year is expected to exceed

digital scale, to facilitate sales activities, particularly in displaying weight and
price directly on the LCD screen. The device is designed using a load cell sensor,
HX711 module, Arduino Nano, and a 16x2 LCD as the output display.
The method used is a quantitative approach through experimentation,
measurement, and numerical data analysis. The research focuses on system
design, calibration, and performance testing. The main objectives are: (1) to test
the performance and accuracy of the digital scale using a load cell sensor and
display the measurements digitally on an LCD; (2) to calibrate and test the digital
scale to ensure that the measurement results are in accordance with the applied
load capacity; and (3) to compare the test results with standard measurement
outcomes.
The test results showed that using sugar alone produced a total error of 1.75 kg
with a correction of -1.75 kg. Meanwhile, the combination of sugar and a 200-
gram standard weight produced stable readings and accurately reflected the actual
weight of the sugar, with a total error of 0.42 kg and a correction of -0.42 kg.
In conclusion, this digital scale is feasible to be used as a simple alternative
measuring device with fairly good accuracy, and it can support both trade and
educational needs.117 PagesKertas Karya Diplom

Analysis Of Family Support For The Success Of Treatment Of MDR and Non-MDR Pulmonary TB Patients Through The DOTS Strategy Approach At The Tangkahan Durian Public Health Center Langkat Regency
Tuberculosis (TB) remains a major public health concern, particularly with the rising number of multidrug-resistant TB (MDR-TB) cases that challenge the effectiveness of treatment. The Directly Observed Treatment Short-course (DOTS) strategy has become the primary approach for TB control; however, its success relies not only on medical factors but also on social support-particularly from family members. This study aims to analyze the relationship between family support and the treatment success of MDR and Non-MDR Pulmonary TB patients through the DOTS approach at the Tangkahan Durian Public Health Center, Langkat Regency. A descriptive correlational quantitative design was employed, using purposive sampling to select 50 respondents consisting of TB patients and their accompanying family members. The instrument used was a structured questionnaire that measured four types of family support: informational, emotional, instrumental, and appraisal. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test to identify relationships between variables. The results revealed a significant relationship between family support and treatment success for both MDR and Non-MDR TB patients (p<0.05). Emotional and instrumental support were the dominant factors influencing patients' adherence to long-term treatment. This study highlights the importance of active family involvement at every stage of TB treatment and underscores the need to integrate family roles within the DOTS strategy to enhance treatment effectiveness.142 PagesTesis Magiste
Analysis of Affect in Sensual Content Comments on Social Media X: Appraisal Study
Social media is now a means of communication, information gathering, and interaction.
One of the most widely used platforms is social media X. On this platform, users can not
only share information, but also freely upload various types of content, including photos
and videos. The content published is also highly diverse, ranging from general topics to
explicit content, including vulgar and even pornographic material, without strict
restrictions from the platform. One example is the X social media account of June Liu, a
Chinese adult actress, who has over 1.7 million followers and has become one of the most
influential figures in the digital world. Through this platform, users can participate in
discussions by commenting on each post. In these interactions, affective expressions often
appear and reflect a variety of emotions, both positive ones that show appreciation or
pleasant emotional responses, and negative ones that show dislike or unpleasant
emotional expressions. Affect itself is one of the components of the Appraisal system,
which refers to the expression of emotions in language, both directly and indirectly. In
this study, data in the form of Mandarin-language comments were collected using
purposive sampling techniques and analyzed using content analysis techniques. The
results of the study show that there are two types of affect that emerge, namely: (1)
positive affect with the categories of happiness, security, and satisfaction, and (2) negative
affect with the category of dissatisfaction.136 PagesSkripsi Sarjan
Notary's Responsibility for the Cancellation of the Contents of a Share Sale and Purchase Deed Through a Court Decision (Study of Supreme Court PK Decision Number 188 PK/PDT/2020) July 1, 2020
This research discusses the function of preliminary contract. In principle, a contract becomes a legal certainty which can provide justice for the parties in the Deeds Numbers 14, 15, and 59, made by Defendant VI in the Bekasi District Court Verdict No. 334/Pdt.G/2014/PN.Bks. Unfortunately, there is an indication of only pro forma (pretension) of one of the parties in the contract so that it can have implication on the revocation of the Notarial deed by the Court because of the illegal offense committed by one of the parties which harm another party. Legal theory used in the analysis in this research is liability, legal protection, and legal certainty.
The research problems are as follows: how a Notary's liability for stock transaction certificate made by him and revoked by the Court, how about the legal protection for the harmed party because of the revocation of stock transaction certificate by the Court, and how about the juridical analysis used by the judge in revoking per forma stock transaction certificate in the Supreme Court Ruling No. 188 PK/PDT/2020.
The research uses juridical normative with case approach by analyzing the case in the Bekasi District Court Verdict No. 334/Pdt.G/2014/PN.Bks, the Bandung Higher Court Verdict No. 467/PDT/2016/PT.Bdg, the Supreme Court Ruling No. 1681 K/Pdt/2017, and the Supreme Court Ruling No. 188 PK/Pdu/2020. The source of data is secondary data obtained from primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. They are gathered by conducting library research and analyzed qualitatively.
The result of the research suggests that a Notary usually gets difficulty in monitoring and detecting a pro forma stock transaction; even though he has done prudential principles, one of the parties can possibly have bad faith and harm another party so that the harmed party will file a complaint to the court and make the Notary as the defendant. However, in the case of in the Bekasi District Court Verdict No. 334/Pdt.G/2014/PN.Bks, the Bandung Higher Court Verdict No. 467/PDT/2016/PT.Bdg, the Supreme Court Ruling No. 1681 K/Pdt/2017, and the Supreme Court Ruling No. 188 PK/Pd/2020, the Notary who has filed judicial review is found not guilty and not be burdened with collective responsibility even though the notarial deed is revoked since he only makes the deed and one of the parties has bad faith. Therefore, the preliminary agreement in this case cannot be categorized as the preliminary agreement which has been revoked by the Court.163 PagesTesis Magiste

Performance of the Population and Civil Registration Services in Public Service Providers for Persons with Disabilities in Pematangsiantar City
Public services for persons with disabilities represent the fulfillment of
fundamental human rights as mandated by Law Number 8 of 2016 concerning
Persons with Disabilities. However, in Pematangsiantar City, several obstacles
still exist in the implementation of public services at the Department of
Population and Civil Registration, such as facilities that are not yet fully
disability-friendly, limited human and financial resources, and a lack of public
awareness about inclusive services. These conditions prevent persons with
disabilities from fully accessing population administration services. Therefore,
this study aims to analyze the performance of Department of Population and Civil
Registration in providing public services for persons with disabilities in terms of
service quality, responsiveness, and responsibility.
This research employs a qualitative descriptive method. Data were
collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies.
Informants consisted of the Head of the Department, the Head of the Service
Division, and persons with disabilities or their families, selected using purposive
and snowball sampling techniques. The data were analyzed using Miles and
Huberman’s interactive model, including data reduction, data presentation, and
conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source and technique
triangulation.
The results show that the overall performance of Department of
Population and Civil Registration of Pematangsiantar has moved in a positive
direction. Programs such as the mobile service “Pak Keling,” regular evaluation
meetings, and improved transparency demonstrate efforts toward inclusive
service. Nevertheless, further improvements are needed in disability-friendly
infrastructure, staff training, and direct involvement of persons with disabilities
in policymaking to ensure truly inclusive and equitable public services.145 PagesSkripsi Sarjan
