The Effect of Rabbit Manure Bokashi and Rice Husk Charcoal on the Productivity of Odot Grass (Pennisetum Purpureum Cv. Mott)
AWANA ZALUKHU. The Effect of Rabbit Manure Bokashi and Rice Husk Charcoal on the Productivity of Odot Grass (Pennisetum Purpureum Cv. Mott)” (Supervised by TATI VIDIANA SARI and PENI PATRIANI).
This study aims to determine the effect of rabbit manure bokashi and rice husk charcoal on the productivity of Odot grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott). The research was conducted at the Experimental Field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, the Compost Center of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, and the Soil Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara. The study was designed as an experimental research using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments: P0 = Without rabbit manure bokashi and rice husk charcoal, P1 = 50 g of rabbit manure bokashi and rice husk charcoal per polibag, P2 = 100 g of rabbit manure bokashi and rice husk charcoal per polibag, P3 = 150 g of rabbit manure bokashi and rice husk charcoal per polibag, P4 = 200 g of rabbit manure bokashi and rice husk charcoal perpolibag. Each treatment was replicated 4 times. The parameters observed included plant height, number of tillers, leaf length, leaf width, number of leaves, fresh matter production, and dry matter production. The results showed significant effects on plant height, number of tillers, leaf width, leaf length, number of leaves, and fresh matter production but no significant effect on dry matter production. The use of 200 g of rabbit manure bokashi and rice husk charcoal per polibag resulted in better outcomes compared to 50-150 g per polibag. This indicates that rabbit manure bokashi and rice husk charcoal can be used as organic fertilizers to enhance the productivity of Odot grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott).63 PagesSkripsi Sarjan
Analysis of Role Shifts in the Wedding Culture of the Minangkabau Indigenous Community in the Era of Modernization
This study examines the dynamics of social change occurring in the traditional Minangkabau marriage culture in Medan City due to the influence of modernization. The Minangkabau marriage culture, rich in symbolic and structural values, undergoes transformation when confronted with the realities of urban society. Traditional rituals such as maresek, batimbang tando, malam bainai, and manjapuik marapulai are now often simplified or performed symbolically due to efficiency considerations, time constraints, and modern lifestyles. This study employs a qualitative approach using descriptive methods and Talcott Parsons' structural-functional theory as an analytical framework. The results show that despite changes in the outward form of ceremonies, core values such as consultation, respect for women, and the social function of the extended family remain intact. Additionally, the roles of traditional figures like ninik mamak and bundo kanduang have shifted, from primary decision-makers to symbolic figures in some cases. These findings indicate a process of cultural negotiation undertaken by the Minangkabau community to maintain the continuity of tradition amid the tide of modernization. Thus, Minangkabau wedding culture in Medan City has not been completely eroded but has adapted flexibly to remain relevant in the context of contemporary urban life.151 PagesSkripsi Sarjan
The Influence of Relationship Marketing and E-Servicescape on Customer Loyalty (A Study on Tokopedia E-Commerce Users in Medan City
This research is motivated by the increasingly intense competition in the e-
commerce industry in Indonesia, including in Medan City, which encourages
companies such as Tokopedia to create effective marketing strategies to maintain
customer loyalty. One important strategy is the implementation of relationship
marketing and the quality of e-servicescape, both of which can influence customer
satisfaction and loyalty. However, preliminary research indicates that although
some customers are satisfied with Tokopedia, there are still discrepancies in terms
of display, navigation, and the relevance of promotions as perceived by consumers.
This study aims to analyze the influence of Relationship Marketing and E-
Servicescape on Customer Loyalty among Tokopedia e-commerce users in Medan
City.
This study employs a quantitative method with an associative approach.
Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents who met
the criteria, namely Tokopedia users in Medan City who had made at least two
purchases. Data analysis techniques include validity tests, reliability tests, classical
assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, partial test (t-test),
simultaneous test (F-test), and coefficient of determination, using SPSS software.
The results of the study show that Relationship Marketing has a positive and
significant effect on customer loyalty, with a t-value greater than the t-table value
and a significance level less than 0.05. E-Servicescape also has a positive and
significant effect on customer loyalty. Simultaneously, both independent variables
have a significant influence on Tokopedia customers’ loyalty in Medan City. The
Adjusted R Square value of 0.799 indicates that approximately 79.9% of the
variation in customer loyalty can be explained by relationship marketing and e-
servicescape, while the remaining 20.1% is influenced by other factors outside this

NLR (Neutrophil-To-Lymphocyte Ratio), MLR (Monocyte-To-Lymphocyte Ratio) And NMLR (Neutrophil-Monocyte-To-Lymphocyte Ratio) As Biomarkers for Establishing the Diagnosis of Tuberculosis in Children Admitted to RS Adam Malik in 2024
Background: Tuberculosis (TB) in children presents a major diagnostic challenge due to the paucibacillary nature of the infection and difficulties in sputum collection. As an alternative, blood cell ratios such as Neutrophil-to-Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR), Monocyte-to-Lymphocyte Ratio (MLR), and Neutrophil-Monocyte-to-Lymphocyte Ratio (NMLR) have been proposed as hematological biomarkers that can support the diagnosis of TB in children.
Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), negative predictive value (NPV), and accuracy of NLR, MLR, and NMLR in establishing the diagnosis of TB in children at RS Adam Malik.
Methods: A retrospective observational study was conducted using data from the TB DOTS medical records of children aged 0–18 years during 2024. Hematologic parameters (neutrophils, monocytes, lymphocytes) and the ratios NLR, MLR, and NMLR were analyzed and compared with clinical and bacteriological TB diagnosis (TCM/BTA).
Results: Of the 219 children who met the inclusion criteria, NLR showed a sensitivity of 82.3%, specificity of 78.7%, PPV of 84.9%, NPV of 75.3%, and accuracy of 80.8%. MLR showed a sensitivity of 80.8%, specificity of 75.3%, PPV of 82.7%, NPV of 72.8%, and accuracy of 78.5%. NMLR showed a sensitivity of 76.9%, specificity of 66.3%, PPV of 76.9%, NPV of 66.3%, and accuracy of 72.6%. These ratios were significantly associated with TB diagnosis (p < 0.05). The most common clinical symptoms found in positive cases included persistent cough, prolonged fever, weight loss, and night sweats.
Conclusion: NLR, MLR, and NMLR demonstrate good diagnostic value in supporting the diagnosis of TB in children. NLR showed the most optimal results, followed by MLR and NMLR. These hematological ratios can be used as quick, inexpensive, and easily accessible diagnostic aids, especially in facilities with limited bacteriological testing capabilities.76 PagesTesis Magiste
Pengalaman Alex tentang Penindasan Berbasis Gender dan Navigasi Menuju Kemandirian dalam Maid: Analisis Feminis Liberal
This thesis examined psychological abuse, economic abuse, and institutional failure experienced by Alex, the main character in Netflix's Maid (2021), and analyzed how she navigated these forms of gender-based oppression to achieve independence. This thesis employed qualitative research design with textual analysis approach, using Susan Moller Okin's Liberal Feminist Theory as the theoretical framework. The primary data consisted of dialogues, scenes, and narrative developments from the first season of Maid (2021), comprising 10 episodes. The findings revealed that Alex experienced psychological abuse through emotional manipulation and gaslighting, economic abuse through Sean's financial control and dependency creation, and institutional failure through systemic barriers from police, social services, courts, and daycare centers that reinforced rather than remedied gender inequality. The study found that Alex navigated these oppressions by resisting emotional control through confrontation and boundary-setting, pursuing financial autonomy through employment despite exploitative conditions, and challenging systemic barriers through persistent advocacy and strategic compliance. The analysis confirmed Okin's (1989) predictions that gender-structured relationships created interconnected forms of oppression, while also revealing that existing institutional responses remained inadequate. The study concluded that while individual resistance demonstrated possibilities for achieving limited independence, the broader goal of gender equality required comprehensive institutional transformation including workplace policies accommodating caregiving responsibilities, legal reforms recognizing non-physical abuse, and economic arrangements ensuring adequate compensation for women's work. This thesis contributed to Liberal Feminist scholarship by demonstrating the continued relevance of Okin's theoretical framework for analyzing contemporary media representations of gender-based oppression and women's pursuit of independence.85 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

Incorporation of Socio-Cultural Values in the Assessment of Customary Land Compensation in Jayapura Regency, Papua Based on the Participation of Stakeholders, Indigenous Communities, and Appraisers
The issue of customary land in Indonesia arises from the recognition of land ownership by indigenous peoples, which often leads to conflicts centered on financial compensation rather than legal entitlement. The differing concepts of ownership between modern and customary cultures complicate fair compensation assessments. This study identifies the factors influencing the Integration of socio-cultural values in the assessment of customary land compensation in Jayapura, Papua, through literature reviews, field surveys, and questionnaires involving 187 members of the local indigenous community. The study highlights that fair compensation must account for socio-cultural values encompassing historical, cultural, social, spiritual, and aesthetic aspects, which are often overlooked in the compensation process. Cultural values include ancestral stories, traditional songs, dances, and hunting traditions, which are essential to the identity of indigenous communities. Social values emphasize cooperation and kinship, which form the foundation for land preservation and are reflected in communal utilization and adherence to customary laws. Spiritual values regard land as a divine gift tied to indigenous beliefs, while aesthetic values highlight the natural beauty of Jayapura's customary lands and the appeal of traditional ceremonies. These findings urge the Indonesian appraisers' association to incorporate socio-cultural values into the framework for assessing customary land compensation, ensuring fairness and respect for local traditions. This approach is crucial not only for Papua but also for similar contexts across Indonesia.139 PagesTesis Magiste
