The Effect of Job Embeddedness and Burnout on Quality of Work Life for Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA) Employees
The shift to a Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA) system gives employees the freedom to manage their own working hours and location. This situation creates new dynamics that can affect employee job embeddedness and the risk of burnout, which in turn impacts quality of work life. This study aims to determine the effect of Job Embeddedness and Burnout on Quality of Work Life among employees working under the Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA) system. This study uses a quantitative method with an explanatory research type with a sample of 385 Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA) employees. Data analysis was performed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method through the SmartPLS 4 program. The results showed that the Job Embeddedness variable had a significant positive effect on Quality of Work Life, while the Burnout variable did not have a significant effect on Quality of Work Life. This indicates that employee engagement improves their quality of work life, while work fatigue does not always have a direct impact on a decline in quality of work life. The implication is that the results of this study can provide information for companies in developing policies and programs that can increase employee engagement and manage the risk of work fatigue in order to strengthen Quality of Work Life in flexible work systems.159 PagesSkripsi Sarjan
Legal Protection for Victims of Criminal Acts of Personal Data Misuse in SIM Card Registration (Study of Decision Number 78/Pid.Sus/2024/Pn Tng)
The rapid development of information technology has led to a massive increase in the use of personal data, including in simple processes like SIM card registration. However, weak security systems and a lack of public awareness of the importance of personal data protection have given rise to various crimes, including the misuse of personal data. Unlawful acts inevitably result in victims whose rights have been violated. Cases of personal data misuse are frequent and problematic for many sectors of life. The law, as a vital player in ensuring justice, serves as the primary solution to address these issues. Reviewing legal incidents, this study aims to analyze the forms of legal protection for victims of personal data misuse and examine their implementation, using Decision Number 78/Pid.Sus/2024/Pn Tng as relevant research material. The research method used is a normative juridical approach, with a statutory approach and case studies. This method was chosen to examine existing laws and legal norms related to legal protection for victims of criminal acts of personal data misuse in SIM card registration. This approach is used to analyze applicable legal regulations and how they should be applied in resolving legal issues. The legal provisions regarding the crime of personal data misuse in Indonesia are outlined in several legal provisions before being more comprehensively and specifically regulated with the issuance of Law No. 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection. Legal protection for victims of criminal acts of personal data misuse can be found in Law No. 27 of 2022, the latest regulation containing comprehensive provisions on Personal Data Protection, including in SIM card registration cases. The judge, in his considerations in the reviewed decision, imposed a sentence that was in accordance with applicable provisions, although it did not fully fulfill the victim's rights due to the victim's passive position and the initiation of prosecution, which is a common offense in the crime.130 pagesSkripsi Sarjan

Lipid Profile as a Risk Factor for Diabetic Ulcers at Haji Adam Malik Central General Hospital, Medan
Background. Type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic metabolic disorder and an
increasing global pandemic. DM leads to various complications, including diabetic
ulcers (DUs). DUs can cause disability, decreased quality of life, and high
economic burden. One of the key aspects of DM and its vascular complications is
diabetic dyslipidemia. Objective. This study aimed to determine the plasma lipid
profile and evaluate its association and relative risk with the occurrence of diabetic
ulcers among DM patients at Haji Adam Malik General Hospital, Medan. Methods.
This was an analytical observational study with a cross-sectional design.
Secondary data were obtained from medical records using consecutive sampling.
Subjects were divided into two groups with equal numbers: DU and non-DU. Data
were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Chi-square, and Odds Ratio (OR)
analysis. Results. A total of 80 type 2 DM patients were included. Most were male
(53.7%), aged over 55 years (60%), and had DM for more than five years (60%).
The predominant lipid profile was total cholesterol (80%), normal triglycerides
(65%), optimal LDL (80%), and low HDL (63.7%). There was no significant
association between DU and sex (p=0.823), DU and age (p=0.068) or DU and TG
(p=0,348). However, significant associations were found for duration of DM
(p<0.001; OR=0.095), total cholesterol (p=0.005; OR=5.938), LDL (p<0.001;
OR=10.231), and HDL (p<0.001; OR=7.667). Conclusion. No association was
observed between DU occurrence and sex, age, or triglyceride levels. Total
cholesterol and LDL were associated with DU, though in an inverse pattern.
Paradoxical improvement in lipid profile likely reflects a progressive systemic
disease state. Duration of DM over five years and low HDL levels significantly
increased the risk of diabetic ulcer occurrence by 10.5 and 7.6 times, respectively.106 PagesSkripsi Sarjan
Isolation and Identification of Flavonoid Compounds from Longan Fruit Seeds (Dimocarpus longan Lour.)
Longan fruit seeds (Dimocarpus longan Lour.) were explored for their potential as a source of flavonoid compounds through a series of isolation and structural identification techniques, namely extraction by methanol solvent (maceration method), fractionation by ethyl acetate, fractionation with n-hexane to obtain the methanol phase, then evaporated until completely evaporated. The extract was further characterized using thin layer chromatography (TLC), then fractionated through column chromatography with a stationary phase of silica gel and a mobile phase of chloroform: ethyl acetate (90:10; 80:20; 70:30; 60:40; 50:50; 40:60; 30:70; 20:80; 10:90) v/v. From the separation results, the fourth fraction was selected for further purification by preparative TLC using silica gel stationary phase and n-hexane: ethyl acetate (20:80) v/v mobile phase. The pure compound obtained was in the form of a yellow solid of 5 mg with an Rf value of 0.60. The isolated pure fraction was then characterized using a UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, the results showed the presence of 2 absorption bands, namely the first band with a wavelength of 315 nm with an absorbance of 0.2567 and the second band with a wavelength of 263 nm with an absorbance of 0.2598. Infrared spectrophotometer (FT-IR) analysis revealed the presence of functional groups O-H Stretching, C-H aliphatic Stretching, C=O ketone Stretching, C=C aromatic Stretching, C-O-H stretching, C-O-C Stretching, C-H sp2 Bending out-of-plane, with wave numbers of 3427.51 cm-1, 2924.09 cm-1, 1726.29 cm-1, 1521.84 cm-1, 1249.87 cm-1, 1109.07 cm-1, and 871.82 cm-1, respectively. Proton Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectrophotometer (1H-NMR) analysis showed the presence of protons H-6, H-8, H-3, H-2’, H-5’, H-6’, and OCH3. The results of the spectroscopic data confirmed that the structure of the isolated compound is a flavone.70 PagesSkripsi Sarjan
Analysis of Diplomatic Relations Between Burkina Faso and France Regarding The Expulsion of The Ambassador From The Perspective of Diplomatic Law
Diplomatic relations are an important instrument in maintaining
international cooperation and stability, but they often face complex dynamics. The
expulsion of the French Ambassador by Burkina Faso in 2022 is a concrete
example of how failure to address security issues, especially terrorism, can trigger
tensions and lead to the termination of diplomatic relations. The problems in this
study are: (1) How is the status of immunity rights for diplomatic officials
according to the 1961 Vienna Convention, (2) How is the diplomatic relationship
between Burkina Faso and France in the perspective of diplomatic law, and (3)
What are the consequences of termination of diplomatic relations between
Burkina Faso and France in failing to combat terrorism according to diplomatic
law. The research method used is normative juridical. The data source used is
secondary data. Data collection techniques and tools are literature studies with
document studies. The data analysis used is qualitative data analysis.
The result of this research is that the 1961 Vienna Convention is an
international legal instrument used as a basis for diplomatic relations. The right
of immunity granted to diplomats is not for personal gain but to ensure the smooth
implementation of diplomatic functions between countries to run smoothly. The
receiving country has full sovereignty in declaring persona non grata against
foreign diplomats, expulsion of ambassadors is considered valid if the diplomatic
mission is not in accordance with national interests. Understanding diplomatic
law is the basis for maintaining a balance between protection for diplomatic
representatives and the sovereignty of the receiving country. The termination of
diplomatic relations between Burkina Faso and France has a significant impact
on security, diplomatic, political, economic, and geopolitical aspects, and makes
it vulnerable in facing the threat of terrorism.200 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

DETERMINANTS OF PREHYPERTENSION IN STUDENTS OF UNIVERSITAS SUMATERA UTARA IN 2025
Prehypertension is a condition of blood pressure that is above normal limits but
has not yet reached the threshold of hypertension with a range of 130-139
mmHg/85-89 mmHg. Prehypertension is an early indicator of cardiovascular
disease risk. This study aims to determine the determinants of prehypertension
among students at the University of North Sumatra by examining lifestyle factors
and family history of hypertension. This study uses a quantitative approach with a
cross-sectional design. The study sample consisted of 128 students aged 19-24
years who were purposively selected from 16 faculties. Data were collected through
questionnaires covering alcohol consumption, smoking behavior, sleep quality,
gadget use and family history of hypertension, as well as blood pressure
measurements. Univariate data were analyzed descriptively, bivariate data were
analyzed using the chi-square test and multivariate data were analyzed using
multiple logistic regression. The results showed that the proportion of
prehypertension among University of North Sumatra students was 72 people
(56,3%). Based on the chi-square test, there was a significant association between
gadget use (p 0,001), sleep quality (p 0,004), and family history of hypertension (p
0,025) with the occurrence of prehypertension, while alcohol consumption and
smoking behavior were not significantly associated with the occurrence of
prehypertension. The results of the multiple logistic regression test showed that
gadget use was significantly associated with prehypertension (p=0,000;
OR=8,784). Students who used gadgets frequently were 8,7 times more likely to
have prehypertension. The results of this study indicate that gadget use is the factor
most associated with the occurrence of prehypertension. Students detected with
prehypertension are advised to have their blood pressure checked regularly,
improve their sleep quality, and reduce their gadget use.191 pagesSkripsi Sarjan
