Perceptions of the Teaching Profession and Its Professionalisation in Spain
Full text linkThe article is based on a novel theoretical framework for studying the teaching profession and its professionalisation from a broad
view of Education as a common field in which many different actors take part. The way the field of Education is (re)produced is
rarely researched. Rather, its current order is assumed as valid, ignoring the infighting between different actors to control and
legitimise particular areas of knowledge, know-how and practices that comprise it as a field. The article presents a survey-based
study with the following objectives: (1) identify how the teaching faculty perceive the structural and structuring aspects of the
teaching profession in the field of education and (2) analyse how those aspects affect the development of a horizontally, democratically and collaboratively articulated profession and its professionalisation with all the other fields in education. The survey was
taken by 7145 preschool, primary and secondary teachers at schools in Spain. The results show the structural and structuring
features of a field of education, in tatters, differentiated and hierarchical, characterised by an uneven distribution of opportunities for its actors to ‘say’, ‘do’ and ‘decide’. At the same time, the results offer a chance to explore a more horizontal articulation of
the teaching profession and its professionalisation within the field of education.Educació
La Importancia de la Comunicación y Participación Familiar en la Educación de niños con TEA. Implicaciones para la Calidad de Vida Familiar
Full text linkIntroducción.El estudio analizóla influencia de la modalidad educativa y la parti-cipación familiar en la calidad de vida de familias con hijos de 0 a 6 años diagnosticados con Trastorno del Espectro Autista (TEA). Método.Participaron 101 familias cuyos hijos e hijas estaban escolarizados en educación especial, aulas TEA o educación ordinaria con apoyos. Se utilizó un cuestionario ad hoc para recoger información sociodemográfica, de comunicación y participación familiar, junto con la Escala de Calidad de Vida Familiar. Los análisis se reali-zaron mediante correlaciones de Spearman y la prueba de Kruskal-Wallis y un análisis de re-gresión lineal múltiple. Resultados. Los resultados mostraron una correlación positiva signifi-cativa entre la participación familiar y la comunicación con el centro educativo (Rho = .41, p < .001), así como entre la participación familiar y la calidad de vida familiar (Rho = .22, p < .05). La regresión reveló que tanto la participación como la comunicación predicen significativamente la calidad de vida familiar (p < .001), mientras que la modalidad educativa no mostró efectos significativos. Se concluye que una mayor implicación familiar en el entorno escolar se asocia con una mejor calidad de vida, lo que refuerza la necesidad de promover la colabo-ración familia-escuela.Introduction. This study examines the influence of educational settings and family involvement on the quality of life of families with children aged 0 to 6 years diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Method. A total of 101 families participated, with children enrolled in special education, ASD-specific classrooms, or mainstream education with support. An ad hoc questionnaire was used to collect sociodemographic data, information about communication and family participation in the school, along with the Family Quality of Life Scale. Data were analyzed using Spearman’s correlation and the Kruskal-Wallis test and multiple linear regression. Results. Results revealed a significant positive correlation between family participation and communication with the school (Rho = .41, p < .001), as well as between family participation and family quality of life (Rho = .22, p < .05). Regression analysis revealed that both participation and communication were significant predictors of family quality of life (p < .001), whereas educational placement showed no significant effects. The findings highlight the importance of family involvement in the educational context of children with ASD, showing that greater participation is associated with improved perceptions of family quality of life. The effect of the Next Generation EU Funds on inequality: a DSGE model approach
Full text linkThe dire economic and social consequences of COVID-19 have led the European Commission to provide an unprecedented response to the pandemic crisis through the Next Generation EU program. In order to analyze the impacts of a variety of scenarios for the allocation of these funds, we developed a two-country New Keynesian model, representing the periphery and the core of the euro area. Based on asymmetric fiscal shocks, we show how European funds can bring sustainable economic growth and decrease consumption inequality in the recipient countries while causing negative spillovers in the countries not receiving the funds. The use of the recovery instrument to carry out productive public spending projects, or the reception of the funds in the form of grants, are factors that generate more permanent effects on inequality and growth in the beneficiary country.Empres

La integridad electoral en materia de financiamiento político. Aportes para la construcción de un derecho a la “buena elección” en un contexto democrático
Full text linkPartiendo de la noción de democracia y su caracterización representativa
por parte de diversos organismos e instrumentos internacionales aplicables, se analizan las
previsiones normativas que la alcanzan a nivel universal y regional americano y construyen
mecanismos de protección efectiva. Dado que los partidos políticos y el sistema electoral
devienen en piedra angular de la legitimidad democrática, se plasman los requisitos esenciales
para su consolidación, citando jurisprudencia de la Corte Interamericana de Derechos
Humanos. Tras mostrar los índices de percepción, notablemente negativos, en materia de
confianza en los partidos políticos y de indiferencia a la democracia, desarrollamos la integridad
del proceso electoral en sus diversos alcances. Como el financiamiento político-electoral
es uno de los retos principales a superar, se plantean diversas recomendaciones con
base en la variedad de opciones y modelos vigentes para culminar esbozando ideas para la
construcción de un derecho a la «buena elección» en un contexto democrático.Based on the notion of democracy and its representative characterization by
various applicable international organizations and instruments, the normative provisions that reach it at the universal and regional American level are analyzed and mechanisms for its
effective protection are constructed. Considering that the political parties and the electoral
system become the cornerstone of democratic legitimacy, the essential requirements for
their consolidation are described, citing the jurisprudence of the Inter-American Court of
Human Rights. After showing the notably negative perception indexes in terms of trust in
political parties and indifference to democracy, we develop the integrity of the electoral
process in its different scopes. As political-electoral financing is one of the main challenges
to be overcome, several recommendations are made based on the variety of options and
models in force, and we end by outlining ideas for the construction of a right to a «good

El reto de la protección del denunciante en Iberoamérica
Full text linkTras la aprobación de las convenciones contra la corrupción Interamericana y de Naciones Unidas, la preocupación por las represalias sufridas por quienes se atrevían a colaborar con el sistema judicial se instauró en el entorno iberoamericano. Inicialmente se desarrolló una legislación de primera generación centrada en la protección de las personas participantes en los procesos penales. En la segunda década del presente siglo, en algunos países iberoamericanos se han promulgado leyes especializadas en la protección de denunciantes y testigos. Actualmente, se ha comenzado a aprobar estatutos jurídicos de protección del denunciante de naturaleza administrativa.After the approval of the Inter-American and United Nations anti-corruption conventions, concern about the retaliation suffered by those who dared to collaborate with the judicial system was established in the Ibero-American environment. Mercado Audiovisual e Inteligencia Artificial. Relaciones y Aspectos Éticos
Full text linkLa Inteligencia artificial (IA) está ejerciendo una influencia estructural sobre el
mercado audiovisual global. Este trabajo examina su papel en la transformación de los
procesos de creación, distribución y consumo de contenidos, con especial atención a las
tensiones que emergen entre innovación tecnológica, sostenibilidad creativa y regulación ética.
A partir de una revisión crítica de estudios recientes, se busca identificar los principales
vectores de cambio impulsados por la IA, atendiendo tanto a sus oportunidades como a los
desafíos que impone sobre la cadena de valor audiovisual. Objetivos: Explorar cómo la IA
impacta en el mercado audiovisual, sus oportunidades y desafíos operativos y creativos, así
como las cuestiones éticas que plantea a lo largo de toda la cadena de valor. Metodología: Se
ha aplicado un enfoque cualitativo mediante el método de escritorio o de biblioteca, basado
en análisis documental de fuentes científicas y profesionales. Resultados: El estudio identifica
cinco áreas clave de transformación: automatización de tareas creativas, personalización
algorítmica del consumo, impacto laboral, desafíos ético-legales sobre autoría y privacidad, y
aparición de formatos inmersivos potenciados por IA. Discusión: Los hallazgos reflejan un
desfase entre desarrollo tecnológico y regulación vigente. Se plantea la necesidad de
supervisión ética y transparencia en los algoritmos, además de abordar el equilibrio entre
eficiencia técnica y creatividad humana. Conclusiones: Para una integración sostenible de la IA, se requiere combinar innovación con protección de derechos culturales y laborales, e
impulsar políticas reguladoras e investigación sobre la percepción del contenido
automatizado.This research examines the influence of artificial intelligence (AI) on the
audiovisual market, focusing on its impact on content creation, distribution, and consumption.
Through a critical review of recent literature and current trends, it identifies the main areas in
which this technology is transforming the sector. Objectives: To explore how AI affects the
audiovisual market, the opportunities it offers and the operational and creative challenges it
poses, as well as the ethical issues raised throughout the entire value chain. Methodology: A
qualitative approach was used, applying the desk research method, based on documentary
analysis of scientific and professional sources. Results: The study identifies five key areas of
transformation: automation of creative tasks, algorithmic personalization of content
consumption, labor impact, ethical and legal challenges concerning authorship and privacy,
and the emergence of immersive formats enhanced by AI. Discussion: The findings reveal a
gap between technological development and existing regulation. The need for ethical
oversight and algorithmic transparency is highlighted, along with the tension between
technical efficiency and human creativity. Conclusions: For the sustainable integration of AI,
it is essential to combine innovation with the protection of cultural and labor rights, while
promoting regulatory frameworks and research into audience perception of AI-generated

Full text linkLas Congregaciones Marianas fueron asociaciones dirigidas por la Compañía de Jesús, que, tanto por su número como por su influencia social, tuvieron gran relevancia en España en las décadas de los 40 y los 50. Puede considerarse que el inicio de su andadura tras la Guerra Civil tuvo lugar en el Congreso de Directores, organizado por el Secretariado Nacional y celebrado en julio de 1940 en el Colegio Nuestra señora del Recuerdo (Chamartín). La importancia de los asuntos tratados en esa reunión fue de gran trascendencia en el auge que las Congregaciones vivieron en los años siguientes. Con el objetivo de comprender este acontecimiento fundamental se ha estudiado su contexto, preparación y desarrollo, a través de fuentes inéditas consultadas principalmente en el Archivo de España de la Compañía de Jesús en Alcalá de Henares y el Archivum Romanum Societatis Iesu.The Marian Congregations were associations led by the Society of Jesus, which,
both in terms of their number and social influence, were highly relevant in
Spain in the 1940s and 1950s. It can be considered that the beginning of their
journey after the Civil War took place at the Directors’ Congress, organized by
the National Secretariat and held in July 1940 at the College of Our Lady of Recuerdo (Chamartín). The importance of the issues discussed in that meeting
was of great significance in the rise that the congregations experienced in the
following years. In order to understand this fundamental event, its context,
preparation, and development have been studied through unpublished sources
primarily consulted at the Archive of Spain of the Society of Jesus in Alcalá de
Henares and the Archivum Romanum Societatis Iesu.Educació
