Las ideas previas sobre el paisaje en la formación inicial del profesorado. Estudio de caso y propuesta de mejora
No full textEl presente trabajo aborda una investigación sobre educación en el paisaje, la cual se ha desarrollado ampliamente a partir del Convenio de Paisaje (2000). Se presenta un estudio de caso, cuyo objetivo ha sido analizar las concepciones sobre el paisaje del alumnado de los Grados de Educación Primaria e Infantil y del Máster Universitario de Formación del Profesorado.. Para ello, se ha realizado una prueba inicial en la que el alumnado ha trabajado sobre sus espacios vitales. El análisis se basa en la categorización de los elementos bióticos, abióticos y antrópicos, de esos paisajes. Los resultados evidencian que los alumnos identifican los paisajes desde su experiencia sin relacionarlos con los contenidos académicos aprendidos; por otro lado, utilizan un vocabulario no especializado del ámbito geográfico.The present work deals with a research on education in the landscape, which has been developed extensively from the Landscape Agreement (2000). A case study is presented, whose objetive has been to analyze the conceptions on the landscape of the students of the Degrees of Primary and Infantile Education and of the University Master's Degree of Teacher Training. For this, an initial test has been carried out in which the students have worked on their living spaces. The analysis is based on the categorization of the biotic, abiotic and anthropic elements of these landscapes. The results show that students identify landscape from their experience without relating them to the academic contents learned; on the other hand, they use a non-specialized vocabulary from the geographical area.Educació

John Henry Newman end his idea of the university in the 21st century
No full textEn este artículo se aborda la actualidad de algunos aspectos de la
universidad en la filosofía educativa de John Henry Newman. Concretamente,
el documento tratará de demostrar cómo las ideas del pensador inglés
son válidas para reorientar la crisis conceptual en la que se encuentra esta
institución en nuestros días. En primer lugar se criticarán, bajo el prisma de
Newman, los problemas asociados al pragmatismo educativo que invade las
aulas universitarias y la sola orientación de los alumnos hacia el mercado
de trabajo. Por otra parte, se expone la importancia y la necesidad de la
verdad en las aulas y el prestigio del profesor como guía comprometido
en la búsqueda de la misma. Ambas ideas defendidas por Newman han
desaparecido de muchas universidades occidentales de nuestro tiempo, con
las negativas consecuencias que eso conlleva. Además, Newman propone la
promoción y el desarrollo de la expansión de la mente de los universitarios
gracias a las enseñanzas recibidas. Esta se dará en todas las disciplinas, con lo que este autor denomina como desarrollo del «hábito filosófico»,
el cual, como se explicará en este documento, consiste en orientar las
materias más allá de sus dimensiones técnicas y de utilidad, creando en la
mente de los alumnos una verdadera interdisciplinariedad de las ciencias.
También se detallará en el escrito cómo, una vez que se empieza a alcanzar
esta meta, objetivo de la universidad liberal que promueve Newman, los
miembros de la comunidad académica podrán vincularse personalmente a la
llamada gratuidad del saber y a los beneficios personales que otorga la vida
académica. Estarán cimentando una verdadera alma mater universitaria, que
se expandirá y ganará prestigio por el servicio que presta a la sociedad.This article addresses some current aspects about the university in the
educational philosophy of John Henry Newman. Specifically, the paper
will try to demonstrate how the ideas of this English thinker are valid in
order to reorient the conceptual crisis in which this institution is nowadays
embedded. From Newman’s point of view, there is an initial discussion of the
problems associated to the educational pragmatism that invades university
classrooms, and the orientation of students towards the labor market. On the
other hand, the importance and necessity of truth in the classrooms and the
prestige of the teacher as a committed guide in search of it will be clarified.
Both ideas defended by Newman have disappeared from many western
universities of our time, with the negative consequences that this loss entails.
In addition, Newman proposes the promotion and development of the minds
of university students through the lessons they are taught. This will take
place in every discipline through what this author calls the development of
the «philosophical habit», which will also be explained in this document: an
approach to subjects beyond their technical and useful dimensions, creating
in the mind of the students a true interdisciplinary of sciences. Once this goal
is achieved, according to the liberal university promoted by Newman, the
members of the academic community will be able to personally link to the
so-called free knowledge and the personal benefits of academic life. They will
be building a true alma mater university, which will expand and gain prestige
from the service it provides to society.Educació
New theories about consciousness
Get PDFIntroducción. El problema de la consciencia constituye uno de los mayores retos para la ciencia contemporánea. Aunque
desterrada del ámbito de la investigación científica durante varias décadas en el siglo XX, existe un creciente interés en
su estudio reflejado en el número de investigaciones que se publica cada año y la gran diversidad de teorías que surgen
para intentar explicarla. Objetivo. Realizar una revisión actualizada de las principales teorías sobre la consciencia.
Desarrollo. Se describen las teorías más relevantes y actuales sobre la consciencia. Las teorías han sido clasificadas en
cuatro grupos en función de su marco epistemológico: teorías cognitivas, metafísicas, cuánticas y neurocientíficas.
Conclusiones. No existe por el momento un acuerdo sobre la definición ni el concepto de consciencia. La gran
diversidad de teorías existentes, algunas de ellas antagónicas, podría estar reflejando el estado de una ciencia sobre la
consciencia todavía inmadura. No se puede concluir si la consciencia es un mero epifenómeno de la actividad cerebral o
bien una representación esquemática de la realidad, útil para guiar nuestra conducta en ambientes complejos. La
incipiente integración entre ciencia cognitiva y neurociencia, por un lado, y mecánica cuántica y teorías metafísicas, por
otro, ofrece nuevas posibilidades teóricas y empíricas no contempladas hasta el momento. Finalmente, el giro de la
investigación hacia un mayor interés en el estudio de la consciencia hace posible vislumbrar importantes avances en esta
materia en las próximas décadasIntroduction. The issue of consciousness remains one of the biggest challenges for contemporary science. Despite being
neglected from scientific research during some decades of the 20th century, there is growing interest concerning its
study as it follows from the great number of publications on this topic and the wide range of theories that arise every
year in trying to explain it. Objective. The aim of this paper is to present an updated review of the main theories about
consciousness from an historical background of the previous. Development. Theories have been classified into four
categories: cognitive theories, metaphysical, quantum and neuroscientific. Conclusions. There is no agreement at the
present moment concerning the concept of consciousness. The great diversity of theories, some of them antagonistic,
should be reflecting an immature, emerging science about consciousness. Focus diverges from the epiphenomenon view
to functional, crucial biological property for survival. The emerging integration between cognitive science and
neuroscience, by one side, and quantum mechanics and metaphysical theories, by the other, are creating new theoretical
and empirical possibilities unknown in the past decades. Even though a conceptual, theoretical and empirical consensus

The use of tablets to promote Secondary School students’ motivation to study science

sistemas educativos realizan un uso de las tic como herramienta de apoyo en el proceso
educativo, mientras que otros sistemas han evolucionado a un sistema de enseñanza aprendizaje integral basado exclusivamente en las nuevas tecnologías. se ha realizado un
estudio de motivación entre dos sistemas educativos distintos, un sistema tradicional con
una muestra de 55 estudiantes, y un sistema basado en las nuevas tecnologías con una
muestra de 45 estudiantes. el estudio analiza los aspectos de la motivación intrínseca relacionados con el interés y satisfacción en la realización de las tareas, la percepción de la
competencia y el valor y utilidad de las tareas. los resultados del estudio informan que los
estudiantes pertenecientes al sistema basado en las nuevas tecnologías tienen una mayor
motivación que los estudiantes pertenecientes al sistema tradicional.Education has adopted and integrated new technologies into different teaching approaches. some make use of icts as tool to support the teaching-learning process, while others
have evolved into a more comprehensive approach based on an exclusive use of the new
technologies. a motivational study has been carried out contrasting two different teaching models: a group using a traditional approach, with a sample of 55 students; and a
second group using an approach exclusively based on new technologies, with a sample of
45 students. this study analyses several domains of intrinsic motivation related to inte rest and degree of satisfaction with the accomplished tasks, the participant’s perception of
their own competence as well as the value and usefulness of these tasks. the results of the

Financial Frictions and Stabilization Policies
Get PDFEste preprint ha sido revisado y publicado en la revista Economic Modelling bajo el DOI: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.econmod.2019.10.019After the financial crisis of 2007, in most economies carrying out either fiscal consolidations or counter-cyclical fiscal policies, public and private debt have moved in opposite directions, as opposed to pre-2007 evidence. Private deleverage and public debt build-up may affect the recovery path of countries after a recession. In a new Keynesian model with financial frictions, we show that when the economy is hit by a credit risk shock, the negative correlation that arises between public and private debt amplifies the response of GDP. In our setup, the traditional monetary-fiscal policy mix is not enough to offset this public-private debt mechanism and therefore bring back economic stability. When macroprudential policy is part of the policy mix, the public-private debt channel can be broken. Interestingly, depending on the macroprudential instrument, a trade-off may arise between private debt and output stabilization.Empres

No full textEl trabajo recogido en las siguientes páginas se enmarca dentro del proyecto de
innovación educativa «Estrategias didácticas y recursos audiovisuales eficaces en el
TFM del master en Intervención Educativa en Contextos Sociales», elaborado por
el Grupo de Innovación Docente EDIT (GID 2017-2019), financiado por la UNED.
Con el propósito de favorecer en los estudiantes un aprendizaje autogestionado
(Panadero, Alonso y Huertas, 2012; Panadero y Jonsson, 2013; Raposo y Martínez,
2011; Reddy y Andrade, 2010) significativo y transferible (De Juanas y Beltran,
2014; Steffens y Underwood, 2008), de notable relevancia en el contexto de la
educación a distancia, se plantea la incorporación de la plantilla guiada al proceso
formativo vinculado a los trabajos fin de título como recurso complementario a la
guía de estas asignaturas. Esta herramienta, resultante del consenso del claustro de
profesores de la asignatura de trabajo fin de máster, ha sido aplicada en el cuso 2017-
2018. Se trata de un documento que pauta a los estudiantes no solo la estructura del
trabajo sino también los procesos que han de llevar a cabo, las características de los
resultados a obtener y los aspectos clave a tener en cuenta.The work of recognition in the following tasks is part of the educational innovation

Educational Intervention in Social Contexts", prepared by the Educational

Redes, tweets y engagement: análisis de las bibliotecas universitarias españolas en Twitter
No full textLas bibliotecas de las universidades españolas han aumentado significativamente su presencia y su actividad en las redes sociales, especialmente en Twitter. En el presente artículo se analiza el uso que las bibliotecas pertenecientes a la Red de Bibliotecas Universitarias Españolas (Rebiun) realizan de Twitter. En concreto, a través del análisis de redes sociales, de un análisis de contenido y de pruebas estadísticas no paramétricas, esta investigación analiza la red generada en Twitter por las 59 bibliotecas universitarias españolas que tienen perfil en esta plataforma, así como la finalidad, el contenido, el formato y el engagement (compromiso, fidelidad) de sus tweets. Los resultados obtenidos indican que las bibliotecas universitarias conforman en Twitter una red de un solo componente con cierto grado de cohesión, pero de varias comunidades, en la que los tweets de información de servicio y los que tienen imagen son los más numerosos. Los tweets con imágenes generan mayor engagement independientemente de su contenido.The libraries of Spanish universities have significantly increased their presence and activity on social networks, especially on Twitter. This article analyzes the use that Spanish university libraries (member of the Red de Bibliotecas Universitarias Españolas, Rebiun) make of Twitter. Specifically, through the analysis of social networks, content analysis and non-para-metric statistical tests, this research analyzes the network generated on Twitter by the 59 Spanish university libraries that have profiles on this platform as well as the purpose, content, the format and engagement of their tweets.
