No full textEste ensayo constituye la primera traducción al español de The Rise and Progress of Universities: una traducción cuidada y bella de este texto del cardenal John Henry Newman que viene a completar, junto a La idea de la universidad, sus escritos sobre este tema. Auge y progreso de las universidades es una historia esencial de lo universitario escrita con encanto literario a partir del contexto histórico. Una historia que, precisamente por su empeño en hallar lo esencial, merece la denominación de arqueológica, pues busca el origen de lo universitario tanto en lo histórico como en la naturaleza humana. Hábilmente escrito y muy diáfano, el libro presenta, acompañado de las notas de los editores, la propuesta de Newman como una invitación a la reflexión sobre el ser y misión de la universidad que no olvide las raíces que la sustentan.Humanidade
La participación de los nuevos emprendimientos en las contrataciones públicas
No full textEl 15 de octubre de 2021, resultó publicada en la Gaceta Oficial
n.º 6.656, la Ley para el Fomento y Desarrollo de Nuevos Emprendimientos,
cuyo principal objeto es promover la creación y desarrollo de nuevos emprendimientos
con el propósito de aumentar y diversificar la oferta de productos y
servicios en el país, ofrecerles una regulación especial y brindar ciertos incentivos
que permitan el crecimiento del sector, así como el de la Nación. Uno de los
principales incentivos hacia el sector emprendedor se consagra en el artículo 12
de la citada ley, en donde se reconoce a las compras públicas como una fuente
de demanda potencial de los nuevos emprendimientos, por lo que las autoridades
deberán establecer criterios claros para privilegiar la participación de los
nuevos emprendimientos en esa área de la gestión pública.On October 15, 2021, the Law for the Promotion and Development of New Enterprises was published in the State official newsletter n.º 6,656, whose main purpose is to promote the creation and development of new enterprises with the purpose of increasing and diversifying the offer of products and services in the country, offer them a special regulation and provide certain incentives that allow the growth of the sector, as well as that of the Nation. La interdisciplinariedad: Oportunidad para transformar la enseñanza

interdisciplinariedad, conociendo como se ha trabajado a lo largo de la historia y cómo se
aborda en la actualidad. Metodología: se ha llevado a cabo una revisión bibliográfica
narrativa donde se ha analizado la literatura publicada hasta la fecha sobre la
interdisciplinariedad en el contexto educativo. Resultados: existen principales escuelas y
modos de enfrentarse a la interdisciplinariedad, poniendo de manifiesto las distintas
corrientes y la dicotomía entre especialización e interdisciplinariedad y cómo se llevan al
aula en la actualidad. Conclusiones: la interdisciplinariedad representa una oportunidad
para innovar y mejorar los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje afirmando además que la
Historia es una ciencia social abierta, transversal e integradora.Introduction: In this article, the concept of interdisciplinarity is deepened, knowing how it
has worked throughout history and how it is currently addressed. Methodology: a narrative
bibliographic review has been carried out where the literature published to date on
interdisciplinarity in the educational context has been analyzed. Results: There are main
schools and ways of dealing with interdisciplinarity, highlighting the different currents and
the dichotomy between specialization and interdisciplinarity and how they are brought to
the classroom today. Conclusions: interdisciplinarity represents an opportunity to innovate
and improve teaching-learning processes, also affirming that History is an open, transversal,

Estereotipos de género y redes sociales: consumo de contenido generado por influencers entre los preadolescentes y adolescentes
Full text linkLa interiorización de los estereotipos de género comienza en una etapa tan temprana como la preadolescencia y la adolescencia. Las redes sociales y los influencers destacan entre todos los factores involucrados en su adopción y asimilación. Dado que los menores comienzan a consumir contenido en redes sociales muy pequeños, los influencers se han convertido en modelos de referencia para ellos. La presente investigación tiene por objetivo examinar las preferencias y comportamientos de los menores en redes sociales respecto a sus influencers favoritos y detectar hasta qué punto pueden reforzar los estereotipos de género preexistentes. Con este objetivo, se ha llevado a cabo un cuestionario (nivel de confianza <95% y error muestral +-3,5%) entre 800 menores españoles de 8 a 16 años, consumidores habituales de contenido creado por influencers. Los resultados de la encuesta muestran que los niños y adolescentes tienden a seguir influencers con diferentes perfiles, dedican una cantidad de tiempo desigual a esta actividad y muestran preferencias por diferentes redes sociales y tipos de contenidos. Estos resultaron conducen a la conclusión de que hay una tendencia generalizada a reproducir comportamientos y preferencias asociadas con los estereotipos tradicionales masculino y femenino.Internalization of gender stereotypes begins as early as adolescence and preadolescence. Among all the factors involved in their adoption and assimilation, social networks and influencers currently stand out. Given that minors start consuming social network content at a very early age, influencers have become role models for them. Therefore, this research aims to examine the preferences and behaviors of minors on social networks regarding their favorite influencers and to detect to what extent they might reinforce pre-existing gender stereotypes. To this end, a survey (confidence level <95% and ±3.5% sampling error) has been carried out on 800 Spanish minors between 8 and 16 years of age and regular consumers of content generated by influencers. The results showed that boys and girls tend to follow influencers with different profiles, devote unequal amounts of time to this activity, and show preferences for different social networks and different types of content. These results lead to the conclusion that there is a generalized tendency to reproduce behaviors and preferences associated with traditional stereotypes about the male and female genders.Comunicació

Analysis of Digital Teacher Education: Key Aspects for Bridging the Digital Divide and Improving the Teaching–Learning Process
Full text linkThe quality of teacher education plays a key role in equipping students with the skills they need and it is important in avoiding learning inequalities. To bridge the digital divide and ensure that all students have equal access to technology and digital resources as well as advanced teaching–learning processes using digital tools, it is crucial to analyse the current state of teacher education in order to identify the key issues. The sample in this research consisted of 325 master of education students and in-service teachers studying at various universities (in Spain, Cyprus, and México) in the 2022–2023 academic year who filled out a questionnaire partly based on DigComEdu and this was expanded with questions relating to other digital and educational aspects. The findings reveal that there is potential for enhancement in many areas. Despite teachers having technical training associated with their profession, they lack the necessary training to overcome inequalities or digital gaps. Moreover, it is striking that those who are already working as teachers are the most pessimistic about aspects such as the use of digital resources, perhaps because of the difficulties they face in their daily work.Educació

The paper first builds on the preliminary objectives for collective actions for DMA violations, including the overall role of private actors in DMA enforcement and the deficits of individual private enforcement. It will analyze why the DMA is particularly prone to collective enforcement. Second, the paper assesses the legal landscape of the DMA for collective actions. On one hand, the paper focuses on collective actions for consumers (in their capacity as end users) under the Representative Actions Directive and its transposition in the EU Member States. On the other hand, the paper will elaborate on other means of collective action, with a focus on collective actions for SMEs and other groups of business users under the DMA, including specific instruments, such as the UCP Directive, the P2B Regulation, or the GDPR, or options based on the effet utile principle, such as the assignment model.Ciencias Jurídica
Sobre la participación ciudadana en el Estado social y democrático de Derecho
Full text linkEn este trabajo se desarrolla la dimensión de la noción de participación ciudadana en el contexto de un Estado social y democrático de Derecho. Principalmente se estudia la relación entre la participación y el interés general, así como la participación y el estado de bienestar; lo que conlleva a analizar la participación como objetivo y como método en la gestión de lo público y en la garantía del interés general. Se concluye que la verdadera participación es al mismo tiempo cooperación, de ahí que el protagonismo de cada individuo debe observarse en realidad como coprotagonismo, que se traduce necesariamente en la conjugación de dos conceptos claves para la articulación de políticas públicas participativas: autonomía e integración, sobre los que se sostiene el principio de subsidiaridad, atendiendo a la eficacia y la justicia.The dimension of the notion of citizen participation is studied in the context of a social and democratic State of Law. Mainly the realtionship between participation and general interest is studied, as well as participation and the state of well-being; which leads to analysing participaation as an objective and as a method in the management of public affairs and in guaranteeing the general interest. It is concluded that true participation is at the same time cooperation, hence the protagonism of each individual must actually be observed as co-protagonism, which necessarily translates into the conjugation of two key concepts for the articulation of participatory public policies; autonomy and integration, on which the principle of subsidiarity is based, taking into account effectiveness and justice.Ciencias Jurídica
Smartphone Ownership, Minors’ Well-being, and Parental Mediation Strategies. An Analysis in the Context of Social Media Influencers
Full text linkAlthough smartphone ownership among minors has become an important social phenomenon, its impact on children’s and
adolescents’ well-being, as well as the mechanisms by which this might take place are not yet sufficiently well-established.
To date, no research has examined the effect of smartphone ownership on the well-being of minors through the consumption
of influencer-generated content, nor has it explored the effectiveness of the main prevention strategies employed by parents
in this context. To fill those gaps, 800 Spanish minors (50% female) aged from 8 to 16 years old (M = 12.33, SD = 2.38)
participated in a correlational study in which the ownership of electronic devices, the consumption of influencer generated
content, the parasocial relationship with the influencer, and the most common parental mediation strategies were considered.
The results showed a positive association between electronic device ownership and psychological discomfort, problematic
usage, and imitation of dangerous behaviors. This association was mediated by the consumption of influencer-generated
content and the parasocial relationship established by the minor with the influencer. Regarding preventive strategies, only
active mediation was inversely related to poorer well-being indicators, however this positive effect significantly decreased
when a smartphone or a similar electronic device was owned by the minor (vs. no owned). These findings contribute to the
understanding of how smartphone ownership can affect the well-being of children, emphasizing the need for thoughtful
consideration when deciding whether to provide smartphones to minors.Comunicació
Comparación epistemológica entre el qué y el quién en el desarrollo de virtudes

RESUMEN: INTRODUCCIÓN: en el presente artículo se aborda la diferencia que existe entre el qué y el quién a la hora de educar en virtudes: cómo el ser personal no se desarrolla tanto por medio de habilidades, competencias o capacidades, si no por una transformación de su intimidad personal. En el escrito se plantea la relación educativa como un encuentro personal en una dinámica de mutua donación y de aceptación plena. OBJETIVO: explicar los cinco pasos necesarios para la aceptación plena entre el educador y el educando. Primero, aceptar que la persona es un quién que debe perfeccionar su naturaleza recibida -el qué-. Segundo, aceptar que existe una relación entre el quién y el qué. Tercero, aceptar que cada quién tiene la tarea personal de perfeccionar su naturaleza. Cuarto, aceptar que ese perfeccionamiento radica en adquirir las virtudes mediante su ejercicio. Quinto, aceptar que las virtudes adquiridas tienen su fundamento último en la donación a los demás. MÉTODO: el trabajo tiene un enfoque teórico comparativo del concepto qué y quién desde la perspectiva del filósofo Leonardo Polo. DISCUSIÓN Y RESULTADOS: se abordan los beneficios de los cinco pasos anteriores y algunos de los errores más comunes en la formación del quién personal, entre otros, dar prioridad a lo cuantitativo frente a lo cualitativo y apreciar en la persona más el desarrollo de sus propias capacidades que la donación personal a los demás. CONCLUSIÓN: el educando se asoma a su propia intimidad y debe descubrir la gratuidad de lo recibido y, como consecuencia, el encargo de perfeccionarlo. Toda vida bien articulada es agradecida frente al don recibido y tiene, a su vez, un carácter de misión y cumplimiento que trasciende al propio yo.Educació
