The Communicative Dimensions of Incarnation and Sharing in Spiritual Counselling
This paper explores the communicative dimensions of incarnation and self-giving within the framework of spiritual accompaniment, from both theological and psychological perspectives. At its core lies the thesis that the effectiveness of a helping relationship is not primarily rooted in methodological expertise but in the relational presence of the helper. Incarnation – understood as divine self-revelation through the human embodiment of Christ – serves as a paradigmatic model for pastoral conversation: the embodied, compassionate, and authentic presence of the helper becomes a vessel of divine grace. Drawing on key theological voices (Bonhoeffer, Barth, von Balthasar, Moltmann), pastoral psychology (Nouwen, Palmer, Root), and person-centred therapy (Rogers), the study illuminates the psychosocial and spiritual dynamics of self-giving, vulnerability, and authentic communication. In this context, self-giving is not interpreted as a loss of self but rather as a conscious choice for presence, relationality, and mutual participation. Vulnerability is redefined not as weakness but as the precondition for genuine encounter and spiritual openness. The study demonstrates that incarnational presence and lived vulnerability foster a climate of trust and openness in which mutual transformation becomes possible. Through the sharing of life and presence, a sacred space emerges in which divine proximity can be experienced. The helper is not merely a professional guide but becomes a sign of divine love and relational fidelity. In this sense, the helping conversation transcends instrumental function and becomes a spiritual process that integrates psychological insight, relational depth, and transcendent meaning. This incarnational approach thus provides a holistic framework for pastoral care, wherein the act of accompanying others becomes itself a form of witnessing and embodiment of the divine
A spiritualitás és a pszichés jóllét összefüggései – A Teisztikus Spiritualitás Változását Mérő Kérdőív (TSOS-HU) magyar adaptációja
Measurement of the Relationship between Spirituality and Psychological Wellbeing – Hungarian Adaptation of the Theistic Spiritual Outcome Scale (TSOS-HU). This study presents the validation of the TSOS (Theistic Spiritual Outcome Scale) questionnaire measuring changes in theistic spirituality in a Hungarian sample. The measurement of spirituality has become a major topic of scientific interest, especially in the field of health promotion and healthcare. We discuss the relationship between spirituality and wellbeing and present questionnaires on spirituality adapted into Hungarian. In our research, we used the STS and WBI-5 scales in addition to the TSOS-HU, along with demographic data. The average age of participants was 52.9 years. Cronbach’s alpha of the scale is 0.876. Item residual correlations are all above 0.3 (0.370–0.637). Convergent validity of TSOS-HU with STS and WBI-5 was satisfying. Our results revealed that a few items show specific cultural features, and by moving them to a more appropriate subscale, the original factor structure was confirmed. We used principal component analysis (PCA) to see how the items are ordered in our factor structure. The relationships between demographic variables, such as gender, age, level of education, marital status, religious affiliation, and TSOS-HU outcomes, were also analysed. Our results suggest that TSOS-HU is suitable for measuring changes in theistic spirituality in Hungarian samples, and the subscales are also reliable

SALT TEMPLATE-ASSISTED SYNTHESIS OF β-CYCLODEXTRIN DERIVED 3D CARBON NANOCORALS
Carbon nanomaterials have great scientific importance due to their unique physicochemical properties. They show great promise in the fields of catalysis, energy storage and environmental treatment. However, the traditional synthesis methods are characterized by cumbersome steps, difficult template removal and high environmental costs. In this study, a salt template-assisted strategy was innovatively employed with β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) as a renewable carbon source and NaCl as a dynamic separation template. Controlled preparation of 3D carbon nanocorals (CNCs) has been achieved for the first time by regulating the self-assembly and carbonization process. XRD and Raman spectroscopy showed that the graphite microcrystalline ordering of the material increased significantly with increasing concentration, and the graphite layer spacing was reduced from 0.453 nm to 0.443 nm. In addition, the NaCl template has a recovery rate of over 90% after washing. Meanwhile sodium chloride can be reused after recycling. It is in line with the concept of green chemistry. This strategy provides a new idea for the precise construction of complex carbon nanostructures
SPECTROSCOPIC AND THERMAL ANALYSES OFTHE INHIBITORY MECHANISM OF OKANIN ON XANTHINE OXIDASE
Okanin was identified as a xanthine oxidase inhibitor, and for the first time, the thermodynamic parameters of the interaction—including entropy change (ΔS), enthalpy change (ΔH), and Gibbs free energy (ΔG)—were calculated by combining fluorescence spectrometry and differential thermal scanning. It can be inferred that there exists a hydrogen bond between okanin and XO, with the van der Waals force being the predominant intermolecular force between them. Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Hydrogen Spectroscopy (1H-NMR) not only confirmed the presence of hydrogen bonding but also provided initial predictions of the specific binding location of the inhibitor and enzyme. Three-dimensional and synchronous fluorescence demonstrated that okanin induces structural modifications in the enzyme, leading to inhibition. Molecular docking directly revealed the binding pattern between inhibitor and enzyme, which aligned with the aforementioned experiments. The findings indicated that inhibitors were competitively bound to the enzyme’s active site primarily through intermolecular forces such as hydrogen bonding, conjugation, and van der Waals forces. These interactions facilitate the formation of a stable intermediate, inducing structural changes in the enzyme, and enhancing the inhibitory ability of okanin. Antioxidant experiments showed that okanin further inhibits the generation of O2- free radicals by simultaneously promoting the reduction of XO molecules and suppressing the production of uric acid. Hence, okanin shows promise as a novel natural product that inhibits the activity of xanthine oxidase, making it highly significant to investigate its potential anti-gout properties
Guest Satisfaction and Dissatisfaction with Pool Attributes at Five-Star Hotels in Dubai
Guest Satisfaction and Dissatisfaction with Pool Attributes at Five-Star Hotels in Dubai. This study investigates the influence of hotel amenities on guest satisfaction, with particular emphasis on swimming pool facilities in luxury hotels. The research employs a mixed-methods approach combining quantitative and qualitative content analysis of guest reviews from Booking.com to identify the key attributes of five-star hotel pools that most significantly affect guest satisfaction levels. The study focuses on Dubai as its research context, selected for its prominence in the global luxury tourism market. The emirate boasts 168 five-star hotels offering approximately 145,000 rooms and serviced apartments, including world-renowned properties such as the Burj Al Arab that serve as both accommodations and tourist destinations in their own right. The research revealed three primary dimensions of pools: “staff & service”, “pool environment” and “quality of pool”, alongside “overall impression”, each comprising multiple attributes. The results show that guests were the most satisfied with the quality of “staff and service” and the least satisfied with the “ambiance” (an attribute of the “pool environment”) and with the “quality of the pool”. These results have meaningful implications for hotel management practices and facility design considerations in the luxury hospitality sector
IDENTITY PERSPECTIVES REGARDING ISRAELI-ARAB YOUTH PARTICIPATING IN VOLUNTARY NATIONAL SERVICE IN ISRAEL
This article examines the perspective of Israeli-Arab youth regarding their participation in Voluntary National Service (VNS) within the context of Israel\u27s political landscape. VNS is an alternative to mandatory military service to foster social integration and civic responsibility. However, for Israeli-Arab youth, VNS often leads to significant identity conflict, shaped by Israel\u27s characterization as a Jewish and democratic state and ongoing regional tensions. The article identifies various factors contributing to this identity conflict through a comprehensive literature review. The finding offers insights for policymakers seeking to foster a more inclusive environment for Israeli-Arab citizens
DIGITAL INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES AND TEACHER TRAINING FROM AN INTERNATIONAL PERSPECTIVE: A STUDY BETWEEN BRAZIL AND ROMANIA
Within this paper we propose a comparative analysis between the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) in Brazil and Babes-Bolyai University in Romania, focusing on the use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies (DICTs) in teacher training and continuous education. The research adopts a qualitative and comparative approach, based on the documentary analysis of public policies, training plans, and institutional statistical data. The investigation seeks to understand how different pedagogical models and sociopolitical contexts influence the integration of DICTs in training processes, identifying convergences, divergences, and good practices. The study draws on consolidated theoretical foundations in education and technology and proposes a critical reflection on possible paths for teacher training in the digital age
Comparing the effectiveness of honey with Rubus fruticosus plant powder from the Algerian farm on wounds and the resultant oxidative stress
The use of traditional remedies remains a common therapeutic option for treating burns. In this study, we investigated the healing effect of honey and Rubus fruticosus plant powder, and the combination of these two products in burn treatment and accompanied oxidative stress regulation. Over 30 days, Wistar rats with dorsal burns were divided into five groups. Burns were induced on the dorsal region, and treatments were applied topically: honey, blackberry powder, and a honey-plant powder mixture. Two groups served as controls, while treatments were administered daily. Initially, a morphological study was conducted by following the different stages of wound healing and assessing the most effective treatment. At the end of the treatment, histological sections of the wound sites were made, along with an evaluation of oxidative stress by monitoring the activity of Glutathione (GSH), Glutathione-S-Transferase (GST), Glutathione-Peroxydase (GPX), and Catalase (CAT) enzymes, biomarkers at the hepatic level. The results indicate that the natural products used are highly effective in treating burns compared to those treated with the marketed healing cream. The combination of honey and blackberry powder showed a synergistic effect in burn healing, and the histological observations support the findings from the planimetric study. The study of biomarkers shows a state of oxidative stress in the control rats through a decrease in GSH levels and an increase in the activity of hepatic GST, GPX, and CAT. In conclusion, the natural products used in our study demonstrate significant effectiveness in treating burns and oxidative stress regulation, particularly when used in combination.
