Media Representation of Female Politicians in Russia, Romania, and the Republic of Moldova
This study examines the media representation of female politicians in Russia, Romania, and the Republic of Moldova, synthesizing the theoretical, legal, ethical frameworks relevant for journalistic work, complemented by the resume of empirical findings of a broader study. It explores how gendered narratives persist within post-communist media systems despite formal commitments to equality. The theoretical section traces the evolution of women’s political roles from communism to modern democracies, presenting the influence of framing and gender bias in political communication. The legal and ethical analysis compares national media laws, codes of conduct, and international standards, evaluating each country’s adherence to principles of fairness, proportionality, and non-discrimination. The empirical research performed through content analysis of over 150 media articles assessed the degree of compliance with the nationally relevant ethical and legal norms. The findings reveal distinct national patterns: Russian outlets frequently emphasize appearance and intrude into private lives; Moldovan publications often fail to maintain proportionality; Romanian media demonstrate higher compliance yet face challenges related to balance and transparency. The study concludes that, while progress toward ethical journalism and gender-sensitive reporting is evident, systemic inequalities and uneven law enforcement continue to shape the portrayal of women in politics across Eastern Europe
Genetic variation of Lissotriton montandoni from the eastern part of the Slovak Carpathians
This study investigated the extent of genetic variation in Lissotriton montandoni individuals collected from three locations in the eastern Slovak Carpathians using microsatellite DNA markers. The genetic characteristics of these microsatellite loci were confirmed to be suitable for molecular genetic studies in L. montandoni, as indicated by high polymorphic information content values. Furthermore, a high level of genetic variation was detected in this endemic species of amphibian. The fixation index values suggested minimal differentiation among the three analyzed subpopulations, with only 1% of the total genetic variation occurring between subpopulations, 3% between individuals, and 96% within individuals. The presence of a high number of alleles at the same chromosomal loci contributes to genetic variation across the entire population, which is beneficial and essential for the adaptation of both individuals and the population as a whole to current and future environmental changes.

INTRODUCTION – INTRODUCCIÓN – INTRODUZIONE
PER UNA STORIA DEI NOMI DELLE LINGUE ROMANZE IN ITALIANO
For a History of the Names of Romance Languages in Italian. The study presents the names that the main Romance languages have had in the history of Italian, in order to examine how and when the different idioms derived from Latin were perceived, identified, and named. Particular attention will be given to the glottonyms referring to the peoples who inhabited the various regions before the Latinization. At the end of the essay, the various terms used over time to refer to Italian will be proposed, terms which, before this glottonym became dominant, did not distinguish it either from Florentine or Tuscan, nor from Latin, the mother tongue from which it is derived, and against which the Vulgar Latin originally stood.

POLARITY IN THE VERBAL DOMAIN. PRELIMINARY RESULTS AND CONSIDERATIONS
Polarity in the Verbal Domain. Preliminary Results and Considerations. The paper presents preliminary results of an extensive investigation of polarity in the verbal domain of Hungarian. Polarity has manifold and wide-ranging connections to different aspects and subdomains of the language system. The present study is concerned with the distribution of polarity in the lexicon and its possible motivations.
In language studies, it has long been hypothesized that negative polarity is richer in its representation than positive polarity on a lexical, constructional and idiomatic level as well. The preliminary results of the investigation show that, in the verbal domain, this is indeed the case. This is not surprising, but the nature of the phenomenon and its ramifications deserve further linguistic exploration.
Other important considerations presented in the study regard the definition of polarity. From a quantitative approach, it seems obvious that affective and evaluative meaning cannot be separated from socio-cultural knowledge and subjective expectations. This last category does not differentiate itself distinctly from other, more robust cases of polarity. The connection is also strengthened by structural properties of verbs and by the negativity bias. Because of this, I believe that, besides affective content and evaluative meaning, although strongly connected to these, negative polarity verbs also encode non-preferred alterations to events, while positive polarity verbs encode preferred alterations or outstanding forms of events. For an event to be outstanding in some respect, is relevant in fewer contexts, than excelling in non-preferred ways. This explains the higher elaboration of the negative domain, but makes polarity as a verbal phenomenon even harder to grasp and define.

Integral solution to a parabolic equation involving the fractional p-Laplacian operator
The aim of this work is to study the existence and uniqueness of integral solutions for a class of non-local parabolic equations. There are two main results. First, we use a subdifferential technique to verify the existence and uniqueness of weak solutions when the initial data belong to L2. Secondly, the existence and uniqueness of an integral solution is demonstrated by extending the study to initial data in L1 space. To overcome the difficulties caused by non-local terms, the proposed strategy combines new approaches with sophisticated strategies derived from the theory of accretive operators. These results contribute to a better understanding of non-local evolution equations and their applications.

THE IMAGE OF JOAN OF ARC IN THE ORATORIO BY A. HONEGGER «JOAN OF ARC AT THE STAKE»
The article examines the oratorio genre in the work of the Forantz composers of the group of six. The focus is on the oratorio "Joan of Arc at the Stake" ("Jeanne d\u27Arc au bûcher") by Arthur Honegger. The aim of the article is to reveal the image of the main character. The oratorio «Joan of Arc at the Stake» by A. Honegger is one of the most striking examples of 20th-century Western European composers turning to the oratorio genre. What makes it particularly interesting is that the composer, drawing upon national traditions of blending various genres, achieves a new level of genre synthesis and introduces new elements into the oratorio format. The complex fusion of genre components presented here prompts the author to abandon traditional genre classifications and call his work a «mystery». Honegger harmoniously balances the components of the musical whole, dramatizing the content and achieving an organic synthesis of music, text, and stage dramaturgy. The blending of these diverse elements impacts the unfolding of the plot, the dynamics of character development, and the musical portrayal of the image of Joan of Arc
THE GRID AS A VISUAL COMPOSITION TOOL IN MORTON FELDMAN’S MUSIC
This article examines Morton Feldman’s use of graphic notation, focusing on the grid as both a compositional device and a visual framework. Feldman’s innovative approach reflects his search for a musical language that transcended conventional notation and emphasized sound as an autonomous phenomenon. The evolution of his grids, from early box structures to later flexible forms, illustrates his adaptability and his concern with balancing clarity and openness. By analyzing selected scores, including Intersection 2, and The King of Denmark, the study demonstrates how Feldman’s graphic methods shaped the relationship between composer, performer, and audience
The Impact of Emotional Intelligence on Religious Leadership
This paper examines the influence of emotional intelligence (EI) on religious leadership, with an emphasis on pastors serving in Neo-Protestant Christian contexts. Drawing on major theoretical models of EI, including those of Mayer and Salovey, Bar-On, and Goleman, the study explores how core EI competencies such as self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management shape leadership behaviors within religious communities. A systematic review was conducted following PRISMA guidelines, using scientific databases to identify peer-reviewed studies published between 2007 and 2025. Out of 140 initial sources, eight studies met all inclusion criteria. Their findings collectively indicate that EI contributes both directly and indirectly to effective pastoral leadership. Higher EI is associated with leadership styles marked by empathy, collaboration, principled behavior, conflict-resolution ability, and servant-oriented practices. Studies consistently highlight emotional self-regulation, empathy, and communication as essential components for managing complex interpersonal dynamics within churches. Deficits in EI skills, particularly self-regulation and social skills, correlate with reduced leadership effectiveness, diminished congregational trust, and difficulty managing organizational challenges. The review underscores a recurring gap across theological education programs, which often neglect emotional development despite its demonstrated impact on ministry effectiveness. The paper concludes by recommending the integration of EI training into pastoral preparation and calls for future research to develop validated EI instruments for religious contexts and to design targeted training interventions for spiritual leaders
