YOUTH COUNSELING WITH THE USE OF LAI FRUIT AS AN IMMUNE ENHANCER FOR COASTAL ADOLESCENTS
Get PDFGeneral Background: Nutritional deficiencies among adolescents can significantly impact immune function, particularly in coastal areas where access to diverse food sources may be limited. Specific Background: Kalimantan Lai Fruit (Durio kutejensis) is a local resource that has received little attention regarding its nutritional potential and health benefits. Knowledge Gap: Despite its availability, there is insufficient data on the fruit's nutrient composition and its role in enhancing immunity among adolescents. Aims: This study aims to analyze the nutritional content of Kalimantan Lai Fruit and evaluate its impact on the immune health of adolescents in coastal communities. Results: Through systematic sampling and laboratory analysis, findings revealed that Lai Fruit is rich in essential nutrients, including high levels of protein, healthy fats, vitamin C, and iron. These nutrients are crucial for promoting health and enhancing the immune system. Novelty: This research not only provides a comprehensive analysis of the nutritional profile of Lai Fruit but also includes an extension program that successfully increased knowledge among children about immunity and healthy lifestyles. Implications: The results underscore the potential of Lai Fruit as a valuable dietary source for improving adolescent nutrition and health. Furthermore, the study contributes to community health initiatives by promoting the integration of local food resources into dietary practices, thereby addressing nutritional deficiencies and fostering healthier lifestyles among adolescents in coastal areas
IMPLEMENTATION OF MENTAL TRAINING TO ENHANCE ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION IN AMPUTEE FOOTBALL ATHLETES

Method: The study focuses on three primary techniques of mental training: concentration, relaxation, and mental imagery. These techniques are systematically applied to address psychological challenges faced by amputee football players during competitions, enabling them to manage stress and maintain focus effectively. Results: Findings indicate that structured mental training significantly enhances athletes' ability to handle competitive stress, improving their psychological preparedness. This improvement positively influences their overall performance, complementing their physical, technical, and tactical skills. Program kerja yang dilakukan sesuai dengan fokus program Kampus Mengajar yaitu terkait literasi, numerasi, adaptasi teknologi, administrasi sekolah, dan Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Specific Background: In Thailand, private schools face unique challenges that necessitate innovative approaches to curriculum development and educational quality. Knowledge Gap: Existing literature reveals limited empirical studies on the impact of curriculum innovation, technology integration, and business partnerships on private school performance in Thailand. Aims: This research aims to evaluate management strategies that improve performance in Thai private schools, with a specific focus on curriculum development and its role in elevating educational standards. Results: Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, including literature reviews, case studies, and cross-sectional primary data collected through observations and interviews with schools in Southern Thailand, the study identifies that relevant, innovative, and competency-based curricula are pivotal in enhancing educational quality. The integration of technology and establishment of business partnerships are also critical in preparing students for future challenges. Novelty: This study contributes to the existing body of knowledge by providing empirical evidence on the effectiveness of these strategies in the Thai private school sector and by evaluating their impact through direct international community service initiatives. Get PDFEast Java is still facing nutritional and child health problems. It is important for society, especially young mothers, to realize how important the nutritional needs of children are. This is because a child's nutritional condition directly affects their physical and mental growth and development. From an early age, it is important to monitor the child's development regularly. In an effort to obtain high-quality human resources, this is done. The growth of the golden period, or golden age, occurs during the first five years of a child's life. Monitoring development from an early stage is crucial to obtaining the right information to provide the right stimulation and nutrition. In the service of this community, we use the method of measuring the nutritional status of young people at Aisyiyah Kempantren Sidoarjo. We used anthropometric standards of weight based on age (Body fat/age) and height based upon age (Height/age), as defined by the WHO. The results showed that 91.89% (68 people out of 74 young people) had good nutritional status, and 8.11% of 6) had better nutritional/obesity status. No full textBased on the observations made, problems were found including accounting records that were still manual and a lack of understanding regarding accurate software. The lack of expertise in the use of technology in the accounting process creates a new problem, which is difficult to get a decent job for job seekers. Among job seekers, there are various educational backgrounds, ranging from high school graduates, vocational schools, as well as undergraduate graduates from various universities. The Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo University Community Service Center conducts training on Accurate accounting software for teachers and vocational students in Sidoarjo. Training is provided using Accurate software. The purpose of this training is to provide training to teachers and students in understanding and operating various features in Accurate related to transaction accounting which are expected to improve skills in using this software. The method in this service uses the PAR method which involves the teacher. The stages of implementing community service use the PAR method, namely initial mapping, implementation, and monitoring/evaluation. The results of the service carried out at the Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo went smoothly and the teachers succeeded in increasing teachers' understanding in using accurate applications

No full textIndonesia is a country that is rich in natural beauty and diverse cultures, so that in this country we can see that there are many tourist attractions, both cultural tourism and natural tourism. With this, the role of villages is very necessary, especially in managing tourist villages, especially in Pacitan Regency. Apart from that, a phenomenon was also found that from 2021 until now there is a problem with funds, this is because the village budget has been used up for the needs of handling Covid in the form of direct assistance to communities affected by Covid. So that construction to maximize tourist attractions was temporarily stopped. Research shows that the management of natural tourist attractions in Pacitan Regency is running well, as the government has provided supporting facilities and infrastructure, but there are several obstacles, namely the difficulty of implementing water sports in this area. The method used in community service program activities is based on the asset based approach (ABA). The activity stages include field observations, drafting material requirements and implementation, licensing, implementation of service, evaluation, up to the final report. Based on the analysis, it was concluded that several things could be done to implement nature-based water tourism in the Wonodadi Kulon Village area, Ngadirojo District, Pacitan Regency. (1) Development of water tourism objects can be done by adding tourist variations such as canoes and water boats; (2) Development of transportation infrastructure by improving road access to tourist attractions which is still not good; (3) Development of capital assistance for activities by seeking sponsors in various sectors; and (4) Development of facilities and infrastructure that support tourism activities by rejuvenating facilities and innovating facilities that do not yet exist, such as parks and rest areas for tired visitors

No full textoai:ojs2.journal.antispublisher.com:article/15The potential that exists in each region is often not fully utilized, especially in relation to the development of village tourism, including in Wonodadi Kulon village, Ngadirojo District, Pacitan Regency, East Java Province. One of the village potentials that can be developed is village tourism based on river water sports. Through Community Service Program activities, it is hoped that existing resources can be optimized so that the village becomes a tourist village based on river water sports. The Community Service Program will be implemented from October to November 2023 in Wonodadi Kulon Village, Ngadirojo District, Pacitan Regency, East Java Province. The method used in community service program activities is based on the asset-based approach (ABA). The activity stages include field observations, drafting material requirements and implementation, licensing, implementation of service, evaluation, up to the final report. The general results of the activity were that training and mentoring activities related to the development of village tourism based on river water sports were carried out with 35 participants. Activity material includes introduction to river water sports, management, water sports facilities and infrastructure, prevention and first aid for accidents, as well as publication and marketing using social media. The conclusion from these activities is that the development of water sports-based village tourism can be carried out, including through training and mentoring activities, especially in Wonodadi Kulon Village, Ngadirojo District, Pacitan Regency, East Java Provinc
