    Get PDF
Background: This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality, product quality, price, and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty in the cooking spices industry, with a case study of Lilik Rochim (LLR) Cooking Spices consumers in Sidoarjo. Increasingly tight competition in this industry requires producers to understand the factors that influence customer loyalty in order to maintain market share. Methods: This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method involving 90 respondents who are LLR Cooking Spices customers. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to identify the relationship between the independent variables (service quality, product quality, price, and customer satisfaction) with the dependent variable (customer loyalty). Findings: The results of the study indicate that service quality, product quality, and price have a positive and significant influence on customer loyalty. In addition, customer satisfaction acts as a mediator that strengthens the relationship between service quality, product quality, price, and customer loyalty. Thus, improving service quality, providing high product quality, and setting competitive prices can increase customer satisfaction, which ultimately has an impact on increasing customer loyalty. Conclusion: These findings have strategic implications for cooking spices producers in designing effective marketing policies to increase customer loyalty. Novelty/Originality of this article: This study uniquely examines the mediating role of customer satisfaction in linking service quality, product quality, and price to customer loyalty within the context of the Indonesian cooking spices industry

    Get PDF
Background: Cilacap Regency, the largest in Central Java, has great potential for tourism development due to its diverse natural and demographic characteristics. However, tourism has not yet become a leading sector in regional revenue. To optimize development, it is essential to assess both internal and external subsystems of the tourism sector and measure its competitiveness against national standards. Methods: This study used a combination of qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods. The Competitiveness Monitor framework with eight indicators was applied to evaluate tourism competitiveness. Spatial analysis, including identity and union overlays, was used to analyze geographical factors. Data were collected through field observations, secondary data from Regional Government Organizations (OPD), and online sources, which were then mapped and interpreted. Findings: The results of this study show that Cilacap Regency is located in a coastal area with gentle slopes that dominate 58.76% of the total area. Because of these natural factors, many natural attractions are found in this regency coupled with the regency capital being right on the coast which makes tourism businesses develop a lot in this area. In addition to natural factors, Cilacap Regency Tourism is also supported by demographic, socio-cultural, technology use, economic, and political factors that discuss tourism policy. Through measurements using the Competitiveness Monitor, of the eight indicators, one indicator is in the improvement stage, namely EI, six of which are in the developing stage, namely HTI, PCI, IDI, TAI, HRI, and SDI. And one indicator is still in the undeveloped stage, namely OI. Conclusion: With targeted strategies, Cilacap can enhance its competitiveness and move toward becoming a prominent tourism destination on a national scale. Novelty/Originality of this article: It uniquely maps the relationship between geographic, demographic, economic, and infrastructural variables, presenting a detailed, data-driven roadmap for future tourism development in a region where tourism is not yet a primary economic sector

    Get PDF
Background: The Palapa Ring project, as one of the largest telecommunications infrastructure initiatives in Indonesia, uses a Public Private Partnership (PPP) scheme to support the construction of a national fiber optic network in 57 districts/cities in order to build internet accessibility, especially in the 3T area which is divided into western, central and east packages. However, there are differences in the implementation of the three packages. This research aims to analyze the comparison, the use of funds, and challenges. Methods: This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a literature study method and uses secondary data from various relevant sources. Findings: The impact of implementing this project shows that it has generally had a positive impact. The Eastern region has a more unequal average change in internet users while the west is more evenly distributed and more developed. Among the three packages, the Central region has a higher growth rate among the three packages. The Use of Funds shows that the Western Package has the highest efficiency with a utilization of 69% while the Central Package and Eastern Package are lower at 37.67% and 37.38% respectively due to significant geographical and operational challenges. The Availability Payment (AP) scheme supports the sustainability of the project. Conclusion: In conclusion, the Palapa Ring project positively impacts internet access, but regional differences in user growth and fund efficiency highlight the Western package as the most efficient compared to the more challenged Central and Eastern packages. Novelty/Originality of this article: This research recommends optimizing network utilization and operational cost efficiency to support the success of digital transformation in Indonesia

Fiscal strategies amid global uncertainty: Strengthening indonesia’s economic and investment resilience through a national supply chain resilience roadmap

    Get PDF
Background: When global conditions are unstable, policy-making driven by urgency and efficiency is necessary to maintain national stability, particularly in Indonesia. In the context of a trade war, the key threats to address are declining investment and weakening economic activity. One of the instruments that can be utilized is fiscal policy. Nevertheless, fiscal resources are limited. Hence, the main questions to be answered in this article are: (1) What’s the most significant sector that affects economic growth and investment performance? (2) What’s the strategy and solution that can be implemented to achieve the fiscal efficiency point? Methods: To answer the first main question, use a literature review. All literature used in this article is from the Scopus index database. On the other hand, the authors also apply the adaptation of the National Supply Chain Resilience Roadmap (NSCRR) method while combining  it with a literature review to formulate a fiscal policy strategy that ensures efficient implementation. Findings: Supported by existing literature, the authors identifies infrastructure as the sector with the highest significance in boosting economic growth and investment in Indonesia. Additionally, authors propose three complementary technical strategies to ensure the efficient implementation of fiscal policy. These three strategies include the Fiscal Deficit Reduction and Accountability Reform System (FIDARS), the National Integrated Smart Government System (NISGS), National Infrastructure Technology Transfer Scheme (NITTS) Conclusion: To attract FDI, investment in public goods such as infrastructure is empirically proven to have a more massive impact and is more efficient due to the vast fiscal multiplier that is greater than in other sectors.  Yet, the fiscal allocation needs to be implemented strategically and efficiently by using the three strategies mentioned above. Novelty/Originality of this article: The new adaptation of NSCRR to create fiscal strategies has not been written before

Managing school-based conflicts as a social factor influencing educational environments: A case study approach

    Get PDF
Background: Conflict in schools often arises from interactions among various parties with differing goals, values, or interests. This study aims to analyze the implementation of conflict management. Methods: The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and document analysis. Findings: This study found that conflicts at the school involved students, teachers, educational staff, and even parents. The types of conflict identified include interpersonal conflict, intergroup conflict, and structural conflict. The causes of conflict include differences in values and goals, as well as a lack of effective communication. In resolving these conflicts, the school implements various conflict management approaches such as collaboration, compromise, and accommodation. These implementations are supported by internal policies and coordination efforts led by the principal, teachers, and other relevant stakeholders. The findings indicate that appropriate conflict management approaches can foster a conducive learning environment, enhance communication quality, and strengthen collaboration among school stakeholders. Conclusion: Conflicts in this study arise from miscommunication, misunderstandings, differing perspectives, and lack of discipline, involving various types such as interpersonal, constructive, and destructive conflicts. While conflict management has been effectively implemented through deliberation, mediation, and compromise, it remains informal, undocumented, and not fully aligned with the POAC framework. Novelty/Originality of this article: This study contributes to the development of both theory and practice in conflict management within educational institutions. Through the implementation of effective conflict management, negative conflicts can be minimized, while positive conflicts can be leveraged to enhance creativity and innovation in the learning process
